Uththararama Purana Vihara (also known as Maligagodella Vihara) is a historic Buddhist temple situated at Udugampola in the Western province, Sri Lanka. The temple is located on Udugampola – Weediyawatta junction road approximately 0.5 km (0.31 mi) away from the Udugampola Roundabout. The temple has been formally recognised by the Government as an archaeological site in Sri Lanka. The designation was declared on 7 July 2005 under the government Gazette number 1401.

Udugampola is a small town in the Gampaha District of Sri Lanka and was a sub kingdom during reign of the King Sakala Kala Wallabha of Kotte Era. The main point in the area is around the intersection of Gampaha-Minuwangoda and Kotugoda-Naiwala roads.

Sri Saddharmagupta Piriven Vihara (Sinhala: ශ්‍රී සද්ධර්මගුප්ත පිරිවෙන් විහාරය) is an old Piriven Vihara in Dombawela, Sri Lanka. The temple is located on Udugampola – Divulapitiya road approximately 0.5 km (0.31 mi) away from the Udugampola Roundabout. The temple has been formally recognised by the Government as an archaeological protected monument in Sri Lanka.

St. Peter's College, Gampaha (Sinhala: සාන්ත පීතර විදුහල, Tamil: செயிண்ட் பீட்டர் கல்லூரி) is a boys and girls primary to secondary (inclusive) and was a branch school of St Peter's College, Colombo. It is located in the Udugampola zone of Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka, and was founded on 2 February 1993. Even though the school is located in Gampaha district, St. Peter's College, Gampaha belongs to the Minuwangoda educational Zone.

Panasawanarama Purana Vihara (Sinhalese: පණසවනාරාම පුරාණ විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple in Kospillewa, Sri Lanka. The temple is located on Udugampola – Divulapitiya road approximately 2 km (1.2 mi) away from Udugampola town. The temple has been formally recognised by the Government as an archaeological site in Sri Lanka. The designation was declared on 22 November 2002 under the government Gazette number 1264.

Asgiriwalpola (Sinhala: අස්ගිරිවල්පොල, Tamil: அஸ்கிரிவால்போலா) is a small village in Minuwangoda Divisional Secretariat of Gampaha District, Western Province, Sri Lanka.

Gampaha District (Sinhala: ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කය gampaha distrikkaya, Tamil: கம்பஹா மாவட்டம் Kampakai Māvaṭṭam) is one of the 25 districts of Sri Lanka, the second level administrative division of the country. It is the second most populous district of Sri Lanka after Colombo District. The district is administered by a District Secretariat headed by a District Secretary (previously known as a Government Agent) appointed by the central government of Sri Lanka. The capital of the district is the town of Gampaha. The district was carved out of the northern part of Colombo District in September 1978.

Asgiriya Raja Maha Vihara (Sinhala: අස්ගිරිය රජ මහා විහාරය) is an ancient Cave temple situated in Gampaha District, Sri Lanka. The temple is located on top of a hillock on the Gampaha - Minuwangoda road and approximately 2 km (1.2 mi) away from Gampaha town. The temple has been formally recognised by the Government as an archaeological site in Sri Lanka. The designation was declared on 22 November 2002 under the government Gazette number 1264.

Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, also known as Gampaha Botanical Garden, is one of the six botanical gardens in Sri Lanka. The botanical garden is situated on the Gampaha-Minuwangoda main road, approximately 450 m (1,480 ft) away from Gampaha railway station. It is about 29 km (18 mi) from Sri Lanka's commercial capital of Colombo.It was established in 1876 by the British to conduct experiments on exotic economic plants such as Rubber, and explore plant wealth and development of economy in the colony. The first imported rubber tree to Sri Lanka was first planted in this garden and it was the first seedlings of Brazilian rubber tree ever planted in Asia. The garden consists of a large variety of plants and many of them are from every corner of the tropical world it is expanding over 43 acres (0.17 km2) and situated next to the Attanagalu Oya and surrounded by paddy fields, a man-made green environment and a secondary forest as well laid out with many interesting sections, eye-catching landscaping and many shrubs, bushes and trees. This garden is a famous destination for youngsters.

Holy Cross Church, Gampaha Sinhala: සිරි කුරුස දේවස්ථානය, ගම්පහ is a Roman Catholic church located in Gampaha, Sri Lanka. It was founded in 1916 as a parish church of the Archdiocese of Colombo. The church is nicknamed "Gal Palliya/ගල් පල්ලිය" meaning "Rock Church" since the church facade is encrusted with gneiss stone.

Gampaha railway station is a railway station in the western city of Gampaha in Sri Lanka. The station is served by Sri Lanka Railways, which is the state-run railway operator.

Dewalapola is a small rural area in Minuwangoda Divisional Secretariate of Gampaha District, Western Province, Sri Lanka. It is situated on the 245/1 Nittambuwa - Katunayake / Airport bus route between Veyangoda and Minuwangoda. The major landuses in the area are rubber, coconut, MHG, rice and pineapples. Dewalapola is the home of Sri Sudarshanarama Purana Viharaya, Minu / Ananda Maha Vidyalaya (AMV), a public library, a post office and an Ayurvedic Center of the Department Of Ayurveda, Ministry Of Indigenous Medicine.
