IDS Center

KNOF (95.3 MHz) is a non-profit FM radio station licensed to St. Paul, Minnesota, and serving the Twin Cities area. The station is broadcasts a Christian Contemporary radio format and is owned by Christian Heritage Broadcasting, Inc. KNOF's radio studios and offices are on Elliot Avenue in Minneapolis. KNOF has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 900 watts (horizontal polarization) and 820 watts (vertical). The transmitter is located atop the IDS Center.

K273BH (102.5 FM, "Hot 102.5") is a translator broadcasting the mainstream urban format of the HD3 subcarrier of iHeartMedia's KTCZ-FM. Licensed to Fridley, Minnesota, it serves the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area inside the I-494/I-694 beltway. The station is currently owned by iHeartMedia, through licensee iHM Licenses, LLC. All the offices and studios are located in St. Louis Park and the transmitter is atop the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis.

K244FE (96.7 FM, "KFAN Plus") is a translator broadcasting the sports talk format of the HD3 subcarrier of iHeartMedia's KQQL. Licensed to Minneapolis' "Calhoun Beach" neighborhood, it serves the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area inside the I-494/I-694 beltway. The station is owned by Educational Media Foundation. All the offices and studios are located in St. Louis Park and the transmitter is atop the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis.

W227BF (93.3 FM) is a translator broadcasting Black Information Network programming from the HD2 subcarrier of iHeartMedia's KQQL. Licensed to Shoreview, Minnesota, it serves the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area inside the I-494/I-694 beltway. The station is owned by iHeartMedia. All the offices and studios are located in St. Louis Park and the transmitter is atop the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis.

WTMS-CA (channel 7) was a low-power, Class A television station licensed to Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, serving the Twin Cities area. Owned by Silver Point Capital of Greenwich, Connecticut, it was affiliated with Telefutura, making it one of two Spanish-language television stations in Minnesota, alongside sister station and Univision affiliate WUMN-LP (channel 13). It had also aired the Daystar Television Network, and been a ShopNBC affiliate. On June 25, 2008, Equity disclosed that it was selling WTMS to Luken Communications, LLC.Equity Media Holdings has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy since December 2008 and offers by Luken Communications to acquire Equity-owned stations in six markets have since been withdrawn.WTMS was sold at auction to Silver Point Capital on April 16, 2009. The sale closed on August 17, 2009; just a week later, on August 25, the station's license was canceled. As of February 7, 2010, however, WTMS-LD, a construction permit for a digital companion channel, remained active. This construction permit has since expired and the station is now listed as DWTMS, and is marked for deletion from the FCC database.

KFAI (90.3 FM Minneapolis) is a community radio station in Minnesota. The station broadcasts a wide variety of music, and also airs programming catering to many of the diverse ethnic groups of the region. KFAI has frequently been honored by local media critics for its shows and musical diversity (for instance, the local alternative weekly City Pages has frequently included it in the annual "Best of the Twin Cities" awards). The station offers public access services, so they encourage anyone in the community to make their own show and have it broadcast over the air. The station is part of Minnesota's AMPERS network and, since it covers the largest population, is considered by many to be the group's flagship station. The call sign stands for Fresh Air, Inc., the non-profit organization that owns KFAI. KFAI's studios are located on Riverside Avenue in Minneapolis, while its transmitter is located atop the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis.

Nicollet Avenue is a major street in Minneapolis, Richfield, Bloomington, and Burnsville in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It passes through a number of locally well-known neighborhoods and districts, notably Eat Street in south Minneapolis and the traffic-restricted Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.

Nicollet Mall is a twelve-block portion of Nicollet Avenue running through downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. It is the shopping and dining district of the city, and also a pedestrian mall and transit mall. Along with Hennepin Avenue to the west, Nicollet Mall forms the cultural and commercial center of Minneapolis. Several notable Minneapolis buildings line the Mall, notably the IDS Center, the former Dayton's flagship store, Orchestra Hall, and the Hennepin County Library. Minneapolis CBS Station WCCO-TV broadcasts from studios and offices on the south end of the Mall. Several major companies have their headquarters along the Mall, including Target Corporation and US Bank. On Thursdays during the summer, the Nicollet Mall hosts a farmers' market while in the winter the Holidazzle Parade, now entitled "Holidazzle Village", are hosted in the Mall.

RSM Plaza is a 320-foot (98 m) tall skyscraper in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Formerly known as McGladrey Plaza, it was completed in 1969 and has 20 floors. In October 2015, the building was renamed RSM Plaza after its largest tenant, McGladrey, changed its own name to RSM. It is the 30th-tallest building in the city and is located on Nicollet Mall. At the time of its completion, the building was the fifth-tallest structure in Minneapolis and the city's second-tallest post-World War II high-rise, behind Canadian Pacific Plaza. The building is skyway connected to The Metro Apartments, the Medical Arts Building and the IDS Center.The building was bought by GOLUB, an international real estate investment and development company, in December 2015. The structure has a floor area of 416,000 square feet (38,600 m2) and an 870-space parking ramp. Major tenants of the building include RSM, Clorox, Colgate-Palmolive, and Portico Benefits. RSM Plaza served as the home of the fictional WJM-TV station of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, an American sitcom that was broadcast on CBS from 1970 to 1977. The opening title sequence was filmed nearby on Nicollet Mall.

7th-8th Street & Nicollet is a bus rapid transit station on the METRO C Line and upcoming D Line in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The station is located at the intersection of Nicollet Mall, with the northbound platform located on 7th Street and the southbound platform on 8th Street. The platforms are referred to as 7th Street & Nicollet and 8th Street & Nicollet, respectively. The station is located within the Downtown Minneapolis Fare Zone, where riders can travel in the zone for 50¢ with no transfers. As with every METRO station, the both platforms are fully accessible, and feature real-time information, shelters, and heating.

PwC Plaza is a 475-ft (145 m) tall skyscraper in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was completed in 1987 and has 36 floors. It is the tallest mixed-use building in Minneapolis and contains offices, including the Minneapolis office of London-based professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown hotel.

The Central Minneapolis community is located in the central part of the city, consisting of 6 smaller official neighborhoods, and includes Downtown Minneapolis and the central business district. It also includes the many old flour mills, the Mill District, and other historical and industrial areas of Downtown Minneapolis. It also includes some high-density residential areas surrounding it, excluding areas east of the Mississippi River. Businesses based in the Central area include the corporate headquarters of Target, US Bank, and the broadcast facilities of Minnesota CBS station WCCO-TV.
