Khayyam Street

Shush Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located in Shush Street. It is between Payane Jonoob Metro Station and Meydan-e Mohammadiyeh Metro Station.Route 5 of the Tehran trolleybus system served Meydan-e-Shush (Shush Square) starting in the 1990s, and thus connected with the metro system at this station after the station's opening in 2001. However, all trolleybus service in Tehran was discontinued around 2013.

It is split into several corridors over 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) in length, each specializing in different types of goods,[1] and has several entrances, with Sabze-Meydan being the main entrance.[2][3]In addition to shops, the Grand Bazaar contains mosques, guest houses, and banks. It has access to the rapid transit system of Tehran Metro through the stations of Khayam and Khordad 15th.

The square and the metro station below are named after the 1963 demonstrations in Iran, which in the Iranian calendar took place on 15th Khordad, 1342.
