Leon's Frozen Custard is a classic family-owned drive-in, specializing in frozen custard, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Opened in 1942, its current appearance as a "drive-in restaurant" comes from an early 1950s remodel. It is considered a landmark in the city of Milwaukee.Leon's Frozen Custard claims to be the "Home of the World's Finest Frozen Custard," as noted boldly on its signage. Leon's offers the three "regular" flavors of vanilla and chocolate and butter pecan. Butter pecan was added on a regular basis because it was so popular. On weekends, Leon's adds a fourth flavor.

Casimir Pulaski High School is a public high school located on 2500 W Oklahoma Ave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Casimir Pulaski is part of the Milwaukee Public School system. The school had 1600 students during the 2004–2005 school year. Pulaski is a large high school located on Milwaukee's south side. The school combines with Milwaukee High School of the Arts to create several sports teams including football, basketball, baseball, swimming, wrestling, cross country and track and field.

William A. Starke Memorial is a public art work by American artist Robert Ingersoll Aitken, located in the Forest Home Cemetery on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The artwork is a bronze figure depicting a seated angel. It is located in Section 33 of the cemetery at 2405 W. Forest Home Ave.The work commemorates William Starke, a local business man involved with the C.H. Starke Bridge Company, the Christopher Steamship Company, and the Sheriff Manufacturing Company.

Spirit of Commerce is a public artwork by German artist Gustav Haug located in Jackson Park, which is on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This zinc sculpture is 15 feet (4.6 metres) tall and sits on a red granite pedestal near the park's lagoon. It is the oldest public sculpture in Milwaukee.

Forest Home Cemetery is a historic rural cemetery located in the Lincoln Village neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is the final resting place of many of the city's famed beer barons, politicians and social elite. Both the cemetery and its Landmark Chapel are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and were declared a Milwaukee Landmark in 1973. The cemetery is run by a non-profit organization held in public trust. Profits from each sale are reinvested to insure continual care of the buildings and land. Its Victorian landscape contains over 100 species of trees, along with many ornate statues, crypts and monuments.

Mt. Olivet Cemetery is a cemetery administered by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee. It was established in 1907 on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Located at 3801 West Morgan Avenue, the cemetery is one of seven cemeteries in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries (AOMCC) System. The 72-acre (290,000 m2) property holds over 27,000 in-ground burials in traditional graves and above-ground entombments and inurnments in crypts and niches. In 2006, a mausoleum expansion project of over 2,000 new crypts and over 600 niches began.

SOARING is a public art work by American artist Lyle London, located in Reiman Plaza at Alverno College on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The abstract stainless steel sculpture rises 20 feet from a fountain. London's commission was coordinated by Uhlein-Wilson Architects.

The 100th anniversary party was held on Saturday, September 14, 2008. Esquire has rated Holler House one of the best bars in America.
