Hicksville is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York. The population of the CDP was 43,869 at the 2020 census.

Broadway Commons, better known by its former name Broadway Mall, is a large shopping mall located in Hicksville, New York, United States. Originally an open-air shopping center called the Mid-Island Shopping Plaza, Broadway Mall is currently a regional enclosed shopping center comprising 98 stores, as well as a food court and movie theater. The mall's anchor stores are IKEA, Target and Blink Fitness.

Heitz Place Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Hicksville in Nassau County, New York. It was built in 1895 and is a two-story, hipped roof balloon frame building sheathed with clapboards. It features full height pilasters, a full-length verandah, and an open octagonal cupola.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The building is currently used to hold the collections of the Hicksville Gregory Museum.

Hicksville High School is an American high school in the town of Hicksville, New York, in Nassau County. It is the only high school in the Hicksville Union Free School District. It opened in 1953. As of the 2016–17 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,705 students. The principal of the school is Raymond Williams, who became principal in the 2013–2014 school year. This is a coed public school and does not have a mandatory dress code.

Holy Trinity High School is a co-educational learning environment located centrally in Hicksville, Nassau County, New York on Long Island. Education is based on New York State Education Standards with a strong emphasis on Religious Studies. It is operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre.

Jericho is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States, approximately 29 miles (47 km) east of Midtown Manhattan. The population was 14,808 at the time of the 2020 census. The area is served by the Jericho Union Free and the Syosset Central School Districts, the boundaries of which differ somewhat from those of the hamlet. The boundaries of the Jericho Post Office vary from both the hamlet and the school district boundaries, including a portion of Jericho in the Westbury ZIP code and a portion of Syosset in the Jericho ZIP code.

The Jericho Jewish Center is a Conservative congregation and synagogue located at 430 North Broadway, Jericho, New York, in the United States.The congregation was established in 1955, when it began meeting on a local private estate. Construction of the Jericho Jewish Center synagogue began in June 1959, and was completed in 1960. The Iken STEM Science Academy Preschool, housed in the Jericho Jewish Center, opened in 2016.In 2022 it was reported that the congregation's attempts to consolidate with a nearby Conservative congregation, the Woodbury Jewish Center, failed and that the future of the Jericho Jewish Center was uncertain. Rabbi Matthew Abelson stood down from his position following a vote to merge the congregations.

Pave the Way Foundation (PTWF) headed by Gary Krupp is a non-sectarian organization whose mission is to identify and eliminate non-theological obstacles between religions. The organization is dedicated to achieving peace by addressing intolerance, furthering education, and practical relations between religions through cultural, technological, and intellectual exchanges. PTWF strives to eliminate the use of religion as a tool to justify conflict. Through inter-religious projects and concrete gestures of goodwill, PTWF identifies and eliminates obstacles between people of faith. PTWF utilizes an earned level of trust in order to "pave the way" towards improving "interreligious" relations and encouraging "intrareligious" exchanges. PTWF tasks the faithful of all beliefs to recognize that the true danger to international peace is the extremist ideologies that exist within every faith.

The Town of Oyster Bay is the easternmost of the three towns that make up Nassau County, New York, United States. Part of the New York metropolitan area, it is the only town in Nassau County to extend from the North Shore to the South Shore of Long Island. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 301,332, Making it the 5th most populous city or town in the state. There are 18 villages and 18 hamlets within the town of Oyster Bay. The U.S. Postal Service has organized these 36 places into 30 five-digit ZIP Codes, served by 20 post offices. Each post office shares the name of one of the hamlets or villages, but their boundaries are usually not coterminous. Oyster Bay is also the name of a hamlet on the North Shore, within the town of Oyster Bay. Near this hamlet, in the village of Cove Neck, is Sagamore Hill, the former residence and summer White House of U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and now a museum. At least six of the 36 villages and hamlets of the town have shores on Oyster Bay Harbor, an inlet of Long Island Sound, and many of these at one time or another have also been referred to as being part of the hamlet of Oyster Bay.

Jericho Friends Meeting House Complex is a historic Quaker meeting house complex located at 6 Old Jericho Turnpike in Jericho, Nassau County, New York. The complex consists of the meetinghouse (1788), former Friends' schoolhouse (1793), a large gable roofed shed (ca. 1875), and the Friends' cemetery. The meeting house is a two-story, gable roofed timber-framed structure clad in wood shingles. One of the people who helped build the meeting house was preacher Elias Hicks (1748 – 1830), who is buried at the cemetery within the complex. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The NYCB Theatre at Westbury (originally known as the Westbury Music Fair) is an entertainment venue located in the hamlet of Jericho, outside of Westbury, New York. Constructed as a theatre in the round style with seating for 2,870 that was originally developed as a means to present top performers and productions of popular theatrical musicals at a series of venues located in suburban locations on the East Coast of the United States.
