Hicksville High School is an American high school in the town of Hicksville, New York, in Nassau County. It is the only high school in the Hicksville Union Free School District. It opened in 1953. As of the 2016–17 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,705 students. The principal of the school is Raymond Williams, who became principal in the 2013–2014 school year. This is a coed public school and does not have a mandatory dress code.

Division Avenue High School is a four-year public high school in Levittown, New York. It is one of two traditional high schools in the Levittown Union Free School District and one of four high schools in the hamlet of Levittown in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County on Long Island. It opened in 1948 as Division Avenue School. It was expanded in 1955 and renamed Division Avenue High School. Its first graduating class was in 1960. It is one of the original school buildings in the district. John Coscia is the school's principal. There is one assistant principal, Sam McElroyAs of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1043 students and 97.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.3:1. There were 137 students (13.0% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 69 (6.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Hicksville is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York. The population of the CDP was 43,869 at the 2020 census.

Governor's Comedy Club is an American comedy club in Levittown, New York, on Long Island, opened in 1985. It hosts a variety of comedians from local talent, to national headliners such as Kevin James, Nick DiPaolo, Andrew Dice Clay, and Gilbert Gottfried. In 2017, Governor's opened "The Lil' Room", which is a smaller and more intimate 60-seat showroom located within Governor's of Levittown, separate from the club's main showroom; in 2022, the room's name was changed to "The Giggle Room" and the size of the room itself was expanded to seat around 90 people. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they opened a third stage at their Levittown location, "The Patio", located outdoors adjacent to the club; shows on the Patio are usually held during the warmer months of the year. Governor's has two sister clubs also on Long Island: The Brokerage Comedy Club & Vaudeville Cafe (opened in 1980) in Bellmore and McGuire's in Bohemia. It also had a former club, Gateway, located in Medford; Gateway had closed temporarily but has since re-opened, now based out of the Clarion Hotel in Ronkonkoma. Though not run by the Governor's group, they will occasionally hold shows at any of the three Governor's clubs. Governor's also formerly operated a summer-only showroom inside the Memory Motel in Montauk. They all hold comedy classes, which train up and coming comedians on comedy writing and performance styles, resulting in a "Graduation Show" at either the Governor's, Brokerage or McGuire's clubs.

The Hicksville station is a station on the Main Line and Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road located in Hicksville, New York. It is the busiest station east of Jamaica and Penn Station by combined weekday/weekend ridership. The station is at Newbridge Road (Route 106) and West Barclay Street. It has two island platforms and three tracks. It is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator to each platform from street level. It is served by eight Nassau Inter-County Express routes and two cab services on the ground level of the station.

Spit (alternately known as Uncle Sam's) was a nightclub and music venue located at Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, New York. The club opened in 1978 and closed in 1992. Some well-known artists performed at the club including Madonna, Kansas, Blue Öyster Cult, Steve Vai, Fishbone, Mr. Bungle, and Tiny Tim. Duran Duran played their first ever North American gig at Spit on September 16, 1981. Pave the Way Foundation (PTWF) headed by Gary Krupp is a non-sectarian organization whose mission is to identify and eliminate non-theological obstacles between religions. The organization is dedicated to achieving peace by addressing intolerance, furthering education, and practical relations between religions through cultural, technological, and intellectual exchanges. PTWF strives to eliminate the use of religion as a tool to justify conflict. Through inter-religious projects and concrete gestures of goodwill, PTWF identifies and eliminates obstacles between people of faith. PTWF utilizes an earned level of trust in order to "pave the way" towards improving "interreligious" relations and encouraging "intrareligious" exchanges. PTWF tasks the faithful of all beliefs to recognize that the true danger to international peace is the extremist ideologies that exist within every faith.

Heitz Place Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Hicksville in Nassau County, New York. It was built in 1895 and is a two-story, hipped roof balloon frame building sheathed with clapboards. It features full height pilasters, a full-length verandah, and an open octagonal cupola.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The building is currently used to hold the collections of the Hicksville Gregory Museum.

Broadway Commons, better known by its former name Broadway Mall, is a large shopping mall located in Hicksville, New York, United States. Originally an open-air shopping center called the Mid-Island Shopping Plaza, Broadway Mall is currently a regional enclosed shopping center comprising 98 stores, as well as a food court and movie theater. The mall's anchor stores are IKEA, Target and Blink Fitness.

Salisbury (formerly known as South Westbury) is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 12,093 at the 2010 census. Many Levitt style homes lie adjacent to Eisenhower Park (formerly known as Salisbury Park). It is served by the Westbury Railroad Station of the Long Island Railroad and shares fire districts with Westbury and East Meadow.

East Meadow High School is a public high school in the East Meadow Union Free School District in East Meadow, New York. The school was founded in 1953 and serves students in grades 9−12.
