Martinsville High School is the only high school located in Martinsville, Indiana just off Interstate 69. It is part of the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville. Students from John R. Wooden Middle School transfer to Martinsville High School after the end of the 8th grade school year.

Neely House is a historic home located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built about 1895, and is a two-story, cruciform plan, Queen Anne style frame dwelling. It features Stick style ornamentation and a wraparound porch. It was restored in 1997.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is located in the East Washington Street Historic District.

It developed between about 1869 and 1940, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Classical Revival, and Colonial Revival style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Neely House. Other notable buildings include the Martinsville Presbyterian Church (1881, 1900), Sweet House (c. 1905), Gum House (c. 1890), Hubbard-Gano House (c. 1915), Frank Oak Branch House (1916), and Francesconi House (c. 1910).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

It developed between about 1850 and 1935, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne and Bungalow/American Craftsman style architecture. Notable buildings include the Brown-Haworth House (c. 1923), William R. Harrison House / Bates House (c. 1860), St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church (1889), Elliott House (1865), Kriner House (c. 1930), and Schofield-Maxwell House (c. 1875). The formerly listed Hite-Finney House was located in the district.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Hite-Finney House was a historic building at 183 North Jefferson Street in Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1855, and was a two-story, transitional Greek Revival / Italianate style brick I-house.: 2–3  The building partially collapsed in 2003. It was destroyed by fire in August 2006, and was fully demolished in October 2009.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 1996. It was removed in 2012 after its destruction.

Morgan County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built between 1857 and 1859, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Italianate style brick and stone building. It has a cruciform plan and features a five-level free-standing campanile. Additions were made in 1956 and 1975–1976. Associated with the courthouse is the original annex or Sheriff's House. It is a two-story, five bay by two-bay, I-house.: 5, 9 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It is located in the Martinsville Commercial Historic District.

The district encompasses 75 contributing buildings and 1 contributing object in the central business district of Martinsville. It developed between about 1847 and 1947, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Classical Revival, and Tudor Revival style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Morgan County Courthouse and Blackstone House and Martinsville Telephone Company Building. Other notable buildings are the Martinsville Public Library (1906, 1990), Martinsville City Hall (1917), Martinsville Post Office (1935, 1974), Pitkin Building (c. 1900), Barskin's Department Store (1922), Indiana Theater (1914, 1927, 1939), Steven's House / Building (c. 1847, c. 1915), Hale Building (c. 1860, 1917), Interurban Station (1902, c. 1956), Union Block (1866), and First Christian Church (1891) and Annex (1927).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Blackstone House and Martinsville Telephone Company Building, also known as Cure and Hensley Mortuary, consists of two historic buildings located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. The buildings were connected in the early 1960s. The house was built in 1860, and is a two-story, Gothic Revival style brick building with a steep cross-gable roof. A Queen Anne style wraparound porch with corner turret was added in 1890. The Martinsville Telephone Company Building was built in 1927, and is a one-story, flat roofed, Tudor Revival style "oriental brick" and limestone building. It features a crenellated parapet. It housed a telephone exchange until 1957.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is located in the Martinsville Commercial Historic District.

Washington Township is one of fourteen townships in Morgan County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 17,073 and it contained 7,171 housing units. The township contains a portion of the Morgan–Monroe State Forest.
