Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) is a private liberal arts college in Delaware, Ohio. It was founded in 1842 by Methodist leaders and Central Ohio residents as a nonsectarian institution, and is a member of the Ohio Five – a consortium of Ohio liberal arts colleges.The 200-acre (81 ha) site is 27 miles (44 km) north of Columbus, Ohio. It includes the main academic and residential campus, the Perkins Observatory, and the Kraus Wilderness Preserve.

The Richard M. Ross Museum of Art is located on Sandusky Street on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, United States. Although the Museum is affiliated with Ohio Wesleyan University it is open to the public during the academic semesters. The Museum was founded in 2002 by Justin Kronewetter. The Ross art Museum maintains a permanent art collection of over 3500 works intended for use in exhibitions, teaching and research. The museum hosts rotating shows in its 3 galleries during the school year.

Branch Rickey Arena is a 2,300-seat multi-purpose arena at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, located centrally on campus and adjacent to Edwards Gymnasium. It is home to the Wesleyan Battling Bishops basketball and volleyball teams. It opened in June 1976, replacing Edwards Gymnasium, which was remodeled to become a full-time exercise facility. It was named for the late Branch Rickey, Class of 1904, a major benefactor to the university and a manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

The Ohio Wesleyan University Library is the library system of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. It comprises five individual libraries and is the second largest academic library in Ohio among liberal arts colleges, ranked by number of volumes held. Organized into 3 major divisions (main collection, science collection and a music collection), in 2005 it held 600,000 printed volumes in open stacks, 800,000 microfilms and microfiches, and a total of 140,000 maps, motion pictures, DVDs, sound recordings, and computer files in its collections, in addition to extensive digital resources and the University Archives.

The Schimmel-Conrades Science Center is a science building at Ohio Wesleyan University. The Science Center involved the renovation of 100,000 square feet (9,290 m²) of indoor space, including physically connecting the two old science facilities, constructing 52,000 square feet (4,830 m²) of additional space, and creating an expanded and integrated science library, amphitheatre, and three-story atrium.The Science Center includes a cafe and vending machines. The floorspace is used for events ranging from the annual President's Ball to regular poster sessions.

The Edwards Gymnasium and Pfeiffer Natatorium on the main campus of Ohio Wesleyan University was built in 1905. It was designed by architect J.W. Yost and was built by Feick & Son.It has a stone entry portico and a "dominant" red tile roof with dormers. The gymnasium is named for alumnus John Edwards of Leipsic, Ohio, who served on the board of trustees of the university and was a major benefactor to the university.Edwards Hall is a 1,800-seat multi-purpose arena. Located at the south end of the campus in Delaware, Ohio, it is home to the Wesleyan Battling Bishops swimming and handball teams. In 1985, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places along with the natatorium named for benefactor Annie Merner Pfeiffer.The Pfeiffer Natatorium was the competition pool for OWU from 1954 to 2010.Basketball and volleyball competition, and other indoor sports, were moved to the 2,300 seat Branch Rickey Arena, built adjacent to Edwards Gymnasium, upon its completion in 1976.The Edwards Gymnasium was then renovated to accommodate the Pfeiffer Natatorium, named for donor Annie Merner Pfeiffer.It is 150 by 83 feet (46 m × 25 m) in plan. Built mainly of light-colored brick, it has a hipped red clay-tiled roof with dormers at both ends and sides. The entrance has carved stone pillars.The complex was listed on the National Register as part of a 1984 study of historic resources on the OWU campus. St. Mary's Catholic Church is a historic Catholic parish church in the city of Delaware, Ohio, United States. Constructed in the 1880s, this grand building is home to a congregation established in the middle of the nineteenth century. Its grand style has long made it a community landmark, and it was named a historic landmark in 1980.

Selby Field, usually referred to simply as Selby, is the football, field hockey, track & field and lacrosse field at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, where the Battling Bishops play. Selby has a seating capacity of 9,100, with all seats falling between the 15-yard lines of the field. Its press box was lauded as the largest in Ohio outside of Ohio Stadium. Built in 1929, the grandstands of Selby are two separate smooth-finished concrete structures which provide seating for 9,100.Selby Field is located on South Henry Street, just east of the academic and administrative buildings of Ohio Wesleyan. On March 18, 1985, Selby Field was added to the National Register of Historic Places. From 2012 through 2015, the Ohio Machine of Major League Lacrosse played home games at Selby Field.

The Strand Theatre, is a movie theater located at 28 East Winter Street in downtown Delaware, Ohio, near the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University. Opened on April 10, 1916, The Strand is the tenth longest operating movie theater in the United States.

The Delaware County Courthouse is located at 117 N Union St, Delaware, OH 43015 in Delaware, Ohio. The courthouse was placed on the National Register.

Delaware Township is one of the eighteen townships of Delaware County, Ohio, United States. The population at the 2020 census was 2,713.
