Mellenville, now known as Mellenville Grange, is a historic train station and Grange located in the hamlet of Mellenville, in the town of Claverack in Columbia County, New York. It was built in around 1900 by the Boston and Albany Railroad on their Hudson Branch. It is a one-story brick building with a slate covered hipped roof. It features heavy wood and scroll-sawn brackets that support the roof overhang. Also on the property is a contributing privy. The building ceased to be used as a station in the 1930s, when it was acquired by the Grange.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 as the Mellenville Railroad Station.

Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School (HVWS) is an independent co-educational Waldorf day school set in the foothills of the Taconic Mountains in Ghent, Columbia County, New York, USA. The school offers classes from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. It is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools and by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. Founded in 1973, the school is one of the oldest and largest of the approximately 170 independent Waldorf Education schools in North America. The first high school class graduated in 1983. The Martindale station was a former New York Central Railroad station that served the residents of Hillsdale, New York and was the next stop on the Harlem Division after Craryville.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Harlemville and Cemetery is a historic Lutheran church and cemetery at County 21 and Pheasant Lane, Harlemville Road at Ten Broeck Road in Harlemville, Columbia County, New York. The church was built 1871–1873 and is a one-story, rectangular wood-frame building with clapboard siding and a gable roof. It features a square bell tower and is set on a fieldstone foundation. The cemetery holds about 200 burials and is still in use.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Bartlett House, a historic railroad hotel, restored in 2016 to house a kitchen, bakery, and cafe. It was built about 1870, and is a three-story, five bay by five bay, square, Italianate style brick building on a raised basement. Ghent is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Ghent in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population of the CDP was 564 at the 2010 census, out of a total town population of 5,402. The community is located northeast of the city of Hudson. Ghent was originally the site of a Mahican Native American village known as Squampamock, Scom-pa-muck or Squampanoc.
