Philmont station (New York Central Railroad)

Philmont is a village in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population was 1,377 at the 2020 census. The village is located in the northeastern part of the town of Claverack on New York State Route 217.

The name comes from the Latin feminine form of the name of Christopher Columbus, which was at the time of the formation of the county a popular proposal for the name of the United States. Columbia County comprises the Hudson, NY Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Albany-Schenectady, NY Combined Statistical Area. It is on the east side of the Hudson River and is considered to be part of the Upper Hudson Valley.

Mellenville, now known as Mellenville Grange, is a historic train station and Grange located in the hamlet of Mellenville, in the town of Claverack in Columbia County, New York. It was built in around 1900 by the Boston and Albany Railroad on their Hudson Branch. It is a one-story brick building with a slate covered hipped roof. It features heavy wood and scroll-sawn brackets that support the roof overhang. Also on the property is a contributing privy. The building ceased to be used as a station in the 1930s, when it was acquired by the Grange.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 as the Mellenville Railroad Station.

The Martindale station was a former New York Central Railroad station that served the residents of Hillsdale, New York and was the next stop on the Harlem Division after Craryville.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Harlemville and Cemetery is a historic Lutheran church and cemetery at County 21 and Pheasant Lane, Harlemville Road at Ten Broeck Road in Harlemville, Columbia County, New York. The church was built 1871–1873 and is a one-story, rectangular wood-frame building with clapboard siding and a gable roof. It features a square bell tower and is set on a fieldstone foundation. The cemetery holds about 200 burials and is still in use.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Stephen Storm House is located on the NY 217 state highway just east of Claverack, New York, United States. It is a Federal style brick house built in the early 19th century. It combines aspects of that style found in urban and rural houses, and has a richly detailed interior that remains intact. In 1997 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
