St. Raymond High School for Boys

The Church of St. Helena is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of New York. Its parish church is located at the intersection of Olmstead Avenue and Benedict Avenue, Bronx, New York City, in the Unionport neighborhood. It was established in 1940, and the church building was built in the same year and was designed by the prominent architectural firm of Eggers & Higgins.

St. Raymond's Church is a parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at Castle Hill Avenue at Tremont Avenue, The Bronx, New York City. The parish was established in 1842. It was dedicated on the feast of St. Raymond Nonnatus, on August 31, 1845, thus getting its name. There is a stained glass window, on the right side if you are looking at the sanctuary, of St. Raymond Nonnatus and the men who took him hostage.

St. Raymond Academy for Girls is a private, Roman Catholic high school for girls in Parkchester, Bronx, New York, United States. It was established in 1960 by the Sisters of Charity and located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. The school has been accredited by the NYS Board of Regents since 1965. The Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association first granted the academy accreditation effective 2003–2010. In 2009–2010, the academy completed the review for re-accreditation and received the renewal of certification. Accreditation has been renewed until December 2017.

Parkchester is a planned community and neighborhood originally developed by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and located in the central Bronx, New York City. The immediate surrounding area also takes its name from the complex. Its boundaries, starting from the north and moving clockwise, are East Tremont Avenue to the north, Castle Hill Avenue to the east, Westchester Avenue to the south, East 177th Street/Cross Bronx Expressway to the southwest, and the Bronx River Parkway to the west. The privately owned housing complex is patrolled by the Parkchester Department of Public Safety.

Westchester Square Medical Center, located in Westchester Square, opened in 1930 as Westchester Square Hospital (which closed in 2013), and currently houses an emergency room, operating rooms, and offices for Montefiore Medical Center.

Grant Circle in the Parkchester neighborhood of the Bronx, where East 177th Street (the Cross Bronx Expressway service road), Metropolitan Avenue, and Westchester Avenue intersect. The station is served by the 6 train at all times and the <6> train during weekdays in the peak direction. By passenger count, Parkchester was the third-busiest station in the Bronx in 2017, behind 161st Street–Yankee Stadium and Third Avenue–149th Street, and the busiest station on the Pelham Line.

St. Peter's Church, Chapel and Cemetery Complex is a historic Episcopal Gothic Revival church at 2500 Westchester Avenue and Saint Peters Avenue in Westchester Square, Bronx, New York City. It was built in 1853 to designs by the architect Leopold Eidlitz in the Village of Westchester, now the East Bronx. The church was damaged heavily by fire and reconstructed and changed by Cyrus L. W. Eidlitz in 1878. It is a Gothic Revival style, cruciform plan, church constructed of rock faced schist. It features a square corner tower with buttressed corners and an octagonal belfry.: 3 It was designated a New York City Landmark in 1976. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.Burials in the graveyard predated the church and include members of the English settlement Oostdorp, or East Towne, and called Westchester by the English settlers in New Netherlands. These burials date to the 1600s. In 2013, the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance relocated from the American Bank Note Company Building to the chapel on the grounds of St. Peter's Church.

Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance, also referred to as BAAD!, is a New York performing and visual art workshop space and performance venue located in The Bronx. The Academy is home to the Arthur Aviles Typical Theatre and The Bronx Dance Coalition.

Parkchester/Van Nest station is a planned passenger rail station on the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line, to be located within Bronx Community Board 11 in Van Nest and just north of Parkchester. The station is planned to open in 2027 as part of the Penn Station Access project, which will add four stations in The Bronx. It will be located east of Unionport Road, with entrance from East Tremont Avenue.
