Viggbyholm

Galoppfältet is a Swedish railway station connected by Roslagsbanan in Täby municipality. Named after the nearby Täby Racecourse (Täby Galopp), the station is located about 13 km from Stockholm East Station. It consists of a middle platform with entrances from both sides.

Roslagen Air Corps (Swedish: Roslagens flygkår), also F 2 Hägernäs, or simply F 2, is a former Swedish Air Force air corps with the main base located on the east coast of Sweden just north of the capital Stockholm.

Täby Racecourse, (Swedish: Täby Galopp), was a Thoroughbred horse racing venue located in Täby, approximately 15 kilometers north of Stockholm. Täby Racecourse was before its closure in 2016, the premier track in Scandinavia.

Täby (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈtɛ̌ːbʏ] ) was previously a trimunicipal locality, with 66,292 inhabitants in 2013. However, as from 2016, Statistics Sweden has amalgamated this locality with the Stockholm urban area. It is the seat of Täby Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden. It was also partly located in Danderyd Municipality (the Enebyberg area) and a very small part in Sollentuna Municipality. Täby kyrkby in the northern part of Täby Municipality forms on the other hand part of the Vallentuna urban area.

Täby Municipality (Täby kommun) is a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Täby. Täby Municipality can be characterized as a suburb of Stockholm. The municipality is one of few in Sweden which has approximately the same size as the original entity created out of Täby parish, when the first local government acts came into force in 1863. It has not been amalgamated with other units, but minor changes of its limits have been carried out.

Näsby Manor is a manor located in Täby municipality, north of Stockholm.Originally built in the 1660s and designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder, Näsby Manor is located in the picturesque and natural setting of Näsbyviken. The manor was burned to the ground in 1897, but was rebuilt according to the original design on the initiative of Carl Robert Lamm and Dora Lamm in 1903–1904. Parts of the old manor garden still exist and are well preserved.

Näsbypark is a district in Täby Municipality, north of Stockholm, Sweden.

Arninge is a locality situated in Täby Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. The district borders Österåker Municipality in the east, Vågsjö and Löttingelund in the north, and Rönninge in the south. Arninge is primarily a commercial and industrial area.

Täby Centrum is a shopping mall located in Täby, Stockholm, Sweden. It had 160 stores in 2014, which is expected to increase to 260 in 2015. It had approximately 10.1 million visitors in 2011, making it the fourth-biggest mall in Stockholm in terms of visitors, and second-biggest shopping centre in terms of sales, after Sickla Köpkvarter. The mall has received several awards, including "Best Swedish Shopping Centre" in 2014 and "Best Nordic Shopping Centre" in 2015 by the Nordic Council of Shopping Centers.

Åva Gymnasium is a public secondary school located in Täby, Sweden, a suburb to the north of the capital, Stockholm. Established in 1970, it teaches most of the Swedish national curriculum programmes, as well as a two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma programme, with an mandatory pre-IB year at Åva before beginning the programme in order to make up for the 1-year gap between Sweden and other parts of the world. The student population is around 1,300. The school is strong in the sciences, and has won numerous national science competition awards as well as awards for its restaurant programme, located in a nearby hotel. Recently the IB department has been among the most successful in the country gradewise and is a big contributor of students to the top national universities. The school receives a yearly scholarship from the Hans Buhre memory fund in order to assist young science-minded students in continuing their studies in higher education, as the namesake of the fund is an Åva alumni and went on to found the second largest employer in Täby municipality. The student newspaper, Cumulus, is printed annually and won the Lilla Journalistpriset (Young Journalist Award) in 2011 and 2013. The school has a historical rivalry with another very close Täby school, Tibble Gymnasium, and every year competes in a sporting competition between the two schools.

Framnäsviken is the name of a small bay of Stora Värtan in Djursholm between the neighbourhoods Germania and Svalnäs. Until 1976 there was a railway stop here called Djursholms Framnäsviken ("Framnäsviken of Djursholm") at the eastern Djursholmsbanan, a part of Roslagsbanan which was closed that year. Station code: Djf. Originally, this railway stop was the northern end station and goods were reloaded between railway and ship transport here, Framnäsviken at the time being a commercial harbour. The bridge and the old railway bank is now used for pedestrians and bicycles and for skiing in the winter time.

Roslags Näsby is a neighbourhood in the southern part of Täby Municipality, north of Stockholm. It is dominated by detached single-family houses. As of 2018, a plan to redevelop the area has been approved. The present railway station (Roslagsbanan) will be demolished and replaced by a new one a bit further north. Most of the present buildings on the western side of the station will also be replaced by 1,400 new dwellings in multistory apartment buildings.
