Slingerlands Historic District is a national historic district located at Slingerlands, Town of Bethlehem, Albany County, New York. It encompasses 102 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in the hamlet of Slingerlands. The district developed between about 1790 and 1940, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Colonial Revival, Federal, Greek Revival, Queen Anne, Stick style, and Bungalow style architecture, Located in the district is the John I. Slingerland home at 1575 New Scotland Road. Other notable buildings include the Slingerlands United Methodist Church (1871) and the former schoolhouse, converted into apartments.: 3 It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Albert Slingerland House is a historic home located at Slingerlands in Albany County, New York. It was built about 1840 and is a 2-story, frame Greek Revival–style dwelling. It consists of a 2-story, gable-front main block with a 1+1⁄2-story side ell with a projecting porch. Also on the property are two 2-story frame barns dated to about 1840 and a brick smoke house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Van Derheyden House is a historic home located at Delmar in Albany County, New York. It was built in three phases. The original dwelling was constructed in 1804 as a "half house," expanded to the present five-bay form in the 1820s, and a large 2-story Greek Revival style rear addition was built in the 1850s. The main block is a 2+1⁄2-story center hall plan, Federal-style dwelling.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Bethlehem Central High School is a public high school in Delmar, New York, just south of Albany. Located at 700 Delaware Avenue, the school serves students in grades 9–12 from the towns of Bethlehem and New Scotland. The school was ranked 366 on Newsweek's 2013 "America's Best High Schools".

Krum Kill is a stream in the U.S. state of New York."Krum" most likely is derived from Dutch meaning "crooked".The Krum Kill proper starts in the location of the campus of the State University of New York at Albany, in the vicinity of what is called Indian Pond.Another creek originates a short distance west of there, near Crossgates Mall, and merges with the Krum Kill near the boundary between the Town of Guilderland and the City of Albany. Locally, both creeks are commonly referred to as the Krum Kill, sometimes as the north and south, or east and west branches. The Krum kill ends where it feeds into the Normans kill in the Slingerlands hamlet in the Town of Bethlehem.

Patterson Farmhouse is a historic home located at Delmar in Albany County, New York. It was built around 1840 and is a two-story, side gabled frame dwelling two rooms deep with a kitchen wing. The front entry is Greek Revival in style; surrounded by narrow sidelights and a rectangular line of transom lights above.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Delmar is a hamlet in the Town of Bethlehem, in Albany County, New York, United States. It is a suburb of the neighboring city of Albany. The community is bisected by NY Route 443 (Delaware Avenue), a major thoroughfare, main street, and route to Albany. A census-designated place (CDP) has been established since 1980 by the U.S. Census Bureau for tabulating the population of what the census has defined as the boundaries of the urbanized area in and around Delmar. The population was 8,292 at the 2000 census, but it was not included as a CDP in the 2010 census.In 2005, CNN/Money Magazine named the Delmar ZIP Code (an area larger than the Delmar hamlet or CDP) as one of the "Best Places to Live" in America, rating it the 22nd best place to live among what it called "Great American Towns."

LaGrange Farmstead is a historic home located at Slingerlands in Albany County, New York. It is a frame dwelling that encompasses five phases of construction. The oldest section was built about 1780 and the second about 1790. Construction in 1835 yielded the 1+1⁄2-story kitchen and wood shed addition. A 1+1⁄2-story, shed-roofed addition on the north side was completed about 1860. The final addition was completed about 1985. Also on the property are two heavy frame barns dated to about 1835 and 1879 and a frame corn crib.The land on which the Farmstead stands was originally settled in the early 1700s by Omie de LaGrange and his brother Isaac near the Normanskill. The last LaGrange owner of the land was Ella LaGrange McBride. It passed out of the family in 1956.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The U.S. Post Office in Delmar, New York is located on Delaware Avenue (NY 443) in the middle of the hamlet. It serves the 12054 ZIP Code, covering Delmar and its surrounding area. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. To date it is the only current post office in Albany County on the Register.It is a small brick building constructed in 1939, near the end of the Great Depression. Louis A. Simon, the Treasury Department's supervising architect at that time, designed 13 total post offices for New York in the Colonial Revival style similar to Delmar's. But that one was the only one from whose design he omitted a cupola. The lobby is decorated with a mural auspices, showing a scene of the Indian Ladder at nearby John Boyd Thacher State Park.

Academy of the Holy Names, or AHN, in Albany, New York, United States, is an independent, Middle States accredited Catholic girls' college-preparatory school for girls in grades 6–12. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany. The school was founded in 1884 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. The mission of AHN is to prepare its students to become cultural, intellectual, moral, and spiritual leaders. Current enrollment for the 2021–2022 school year is 196 students.

Presbyterian Church in New Scotland and the New Scotland Cemetery is a historic Presbyterian church and cemetery located in New Scotland in Albany County, New York. The church was built in 1849 and extended in 1868. It is a 2-story, three-bay-wide, rectangular frame structure with a 1+1⁄2-story front projecting vestibule / entrance block. It features a large, two-stage square central projecting tower. The education wing was completed in 1957. The cemetery includes about 500 burials dating from the 18th to 20th century. The congregation was founded in 1787 and the present structure is its second building.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
