The Stateline Country Club, just inside the state border in what is now Stateline, Nevada, started as a small cafe. Inside, visitors enjoying the early 1930s at Lake Tahoe could find a soda fountain bar and a few tables to enjoy a meal. There was a small room in the rear where a poker game started-up most nights, and next door there was provision for vacationers at Carl F. Tychsen's Stateline Market with a pair of gas pumps nearby. To the rear of the Stateline Market, east of Clyde Beecher's Nevada Club 100 feet from the actual state line between California and Nevada, Carl's Place Bar & Club attracted an older crowd of visitors. (Carl's Place would become The Main Entrance Club in 1938, owned by Charles Silver and George "Frenchy" Perry, with a long canopy extending from the club down the alley to U.S. Highway 50 between the Stateline Market and the Nevada Club.)

Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino (formerly Sahara Tahoe, High Sierra, Horizon Lake Tahoe, and Hard Rock Lake Tahoe) is a casino hotel in Stateline, Nevada. It is one of four major casino hotels in Stateline. Horizon Lake Tahoe closed on April 1, 2014, to begin a $60 million renovation and rebranding as Hard Rock Lake Tahoe, which held its grand opening on January 28, 2015. It has 539 hotel rooms and 22,750 square feet (2,114 m2) of gaming space, with 431 slot machines, 33 table games and a William Hill race and sports book.

Stateline (formerly Lakeside and Laphams) is a former unincorporated community in El Dorado County, California, now incorporated into South Lake Tahoe, California. It lies at an elevation of 6,279 feet (1914 m) ASL. As its name suggests, it is at the state line with Nevada, and mirrors the adjacent community of the same name. The name Laphams commemorates William W. Lapham who opened a hotel here in the 1850s. The pony express route ran through the community circa 1861 on the leg between Friday's Station and Yanks. A post office operated at Stateline from 1901. It was along the Lincoln Highway Sierra Nevada Southern Route by 1916. The locale acquired the name Lakeside between 1930 and 1955; then was changed to Stateline thereafter. The community was a subject in an interstate border dispute. After a 1980 US Supreme Court ruling, the community of Stateline was nominally moved east, and the California portion dissolved into South Lake Tahoe. The currently accepted interstate border is marked by the 1893 US CGS Federal Survey Monuments No. 1, No. 2, and No.3. Disturbing survey monuments is illegal. as is land title fraud.

The Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena (originally known as Harveys Outdoor Amphitheater) is a temporary outdoor concert venue located in Stateline, Nevada near Lake Tahoe. The venue is located on the grounds of Harveys Lake Tahoe, in the south parking lot behind the parking garage. Opening in 1992, the temporary structure has been the home to several musical events, including the long-running "Harveys Summer Concert Series". The venue opened on July 7, 1992, with a performance by the Gipsy Kings. At the time, the venue held up to 5,000 spectators. In 2005, former owner, Harrah's Entertainment, hired San Francisco–based promoters, Another Planet Entertainment, for venue operations and event booking. Launching the new concert series, the temporary venue was moved from the north lawn to the parking lot. The capacity increased from 5,000 to 9,300.Alongside numerous concert, the venue also hosted many comedy acts including: Bill Cosby, Dennis Miller, and Robin Williams.

Bally's Lake Tahoe (formerly Park Tahoe, Caesars Tahoe, and MontBleu Resort Casino) is a casino hotel in Stateline, Nevada. It is owned by Edgewood Companies and operated by Bally's Corporation. The property includes a 48,456 sq ft (4,501.7 m2) casino and a 438-room hotel on a 21-acre (8.5 ha) site. It is the home to the Ciera Steak + Chophouse. The entire property underwent a $25-million remodel in 2015, with all guest rooms, the casino, 1,200-seat showroom, and exterior being upgraded.

Tahoe Blue Event Center is an indoor arena located in Stateline, Nevada in the United States. It will be home to the Tahoe Knight Monsters of the ECHL ice hockey league. It will have a capacity of 5,000. Grand Opening occurred on September 23, 2023. It is owned by the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority.

Van Sickle Bi-State Park is a public recreation area straddling the border of California and Nevada, United States, that overlooks Lake Tahoe and preserves the memory of Henry Van Sickle, a key member in the founding of Genoa and the surrounding area. The state park features trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. It is managed by the Nevada Division of State Parks in partnership with the California Tahoe Conservancy.

Friday's Station, on US 50 between Kingsbury Grade and Loop Road in Stateline, Nevada, is a two-story wood-frame white building built as a Pony Express station and inn in 1860. In 1986, it was known as Park Cattle Company Residence and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The two-story wood-frame white building is visible from U.S. Route 50 near the California-Nevada border at Stateline, Nevada.When built, it was also a Union Army military post of the District of California. During the 1870s through the 1880s it operated as a resort under the name "Buttermilk Bonanza Ranch." The listing included two contributing buildings: the second was a blacksmith shop and stable built in 1850 at the rear of the inn.The nearest locale was called Smalls by 1891, but had changed its name to Tahoe Village by 1955.The interior of the building has undergone several remodels throughout its history, but the original floor plan included space for both a restaurant and a saloon on the lower floor. The upper floor has remained largely unchanged since its construction, except that it now features bathrooms which were not part of the original structure. It is the only Pony Express station in the state of Nevada to survive in a largely intact form.It is designated as California Historical Landmark #728.
