The Old Gray House, also known as the Hodgden-Merrow House, is a historic house at 60 Tavenner Road, on Sawyers Island in Boothbay, Maine. The house, probably built in the 1820s, but possibly older (or including older sections), is built on a site that has been in documented use since the 1740s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The Bosarge Family Education Center in Boothbay, Maine, United States is an 8,200-square-foot facility at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens built in 2011. It has attained LEED Platinum certification, the highest level that USGBC offers, and has become known as Maine's "greenest building." A 45 kW photovoltaic panel array provides 100% of the energy required to run the building. The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association's (NESEA) awarded it the 2013 Net Zero Energy Building Award. The building was designed by Scott Simons Architects of Portland, Maine and Mclay Architects of Waitsfield, Vermont.The center is named after benefactors Marie and Ed Bosarge.Energy usage can be tracked publicly online.

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden in Boothbay, Maine. It was opened in 2007.The gardens have been named one of Maine's top attractions. Its gardens and landscape include nearly a mile of tidewater shoreline. After 16 years of planning, planting, and building, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens opened on June 13, 2007. This project began in 1991 when a group of Maine residents founded the grassroots organization. In 1996, after a thorough search for an appropriate site, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens purchased 128 acres (52 ha) of land with 3,600 feet (1,100 m) of tidal shore frontage in Boothbay. Today, as the largest botanical garden in New England, the gardens comprise 295 acres (119 ha), 17 of which are gardens featuring native plants of Maine and other plants suited to northern coastal conditions. Yearly, the gardens see on average 200,000 guests from throughout the United States and (in 2018) 63 foreign countries.

Southport is a town and archipelago in Lincoln County, Maine, United States. The population was 622 at the 2020 census. It includes the neighborhoods of Capitol Island, Cozy Harbor, East Side, Newagen, Pine Cliff, and West Southport, and the village of Squirrel Island. The majority of the town's residents live on its main island, Southport Island.

Hendricks Head Light is a lighthouse in Southport, Maine marking the west side of the mouth of the Sheepscot River. The light station was established in 1829, and its present structures date to 1875. It was deactivated in 1933, but relit in 1951. The two-story wood keeper's house is now a private summer residence. The light is on continuously, showing white to the west and red to the east. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Hendricks Head Light Station on November 20, 1987.

West Boothbay Harbor is an unincorporated village in the town of Boothbay Harbor, Lincoln County, Maine, United States. The community is located along Maine State Route 27, 10.7 miles (17.2 km) south of Wiscasset. West Boothbay Harbor has a post office, with ZIP code 04575.

The Sasanoa River is an 8.6-mile-long (13.8 km) tidal channel in the Midcoast region of Maine, connecting the Kennebec River with the Sheepscot River. The Sasanoa River has two distinct sections. The western section begins at the Kennebec River opposite the city of Bath and runs east, forming the boundary between the towns of Arrowsic and Woolwich, and passing through its narrowest channel at Upper Hell Gate. The western section ends at Hockomock Bay, a water body also crossed by the Back River and containing numerous tidal inlets. The eastern section of the Sasanoa River begins 1 mile (1.6 km) northeast of the river's western section and flows southeast through Lower Hell Gate and Goose Rock Passage to the Sheepscot River. This section of the river forms the boundary between Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties, as well as between the towns of Westport and Georgetown.

Westport Island, formerly Westport, is a town in Lincoln County, Maine, United States. In the 19th century the island was known as Jeremysquam, a nickname islanders still use for it. The population was 719 at the 2020 census.

Westport Town Hall is the current town hall of Westport, Maine. It is located on Main Road (Maine State Route 144) in a former Congregational church built in 1794. The building, used as the town hall since 1885, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002 as Union Meeting House, (Former) [sic].

The Westport Community Church, also known historically as Temperance Hall and the Music Hall, is a historic church on Main Road (Maine State Route 144) in Westport, Maine. Probably built in the 1830s, and moved to its present location in 1864, it is a fine local example of Greek Revival architecture. It is now owned by a local non-profit organization, used for events and functions in the summertime. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Squire Tarbox House is a historic house at 1181 Main Road in Westport, Maine. Built in 1763 and enlarged in 1820, it is a fine local example of Georgian and Federal architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, and is presently home to the Squire Tarbox Inn.

The Knight-Corey House is a historic house on Corey Lane in Boothbay, Maine. Built in 1787, it is a high quality local example of Federal period architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
