Halle André Vacheresse is an indoor sporting arena located in Roanne, France. The capacity of the arena is 5,020 people, and is currently home to the Chorale Roanne Basket basketball team.

Its area is 689.3 km2. Its population was 100,486 in 2017, of which 34,366 in Roanne proper.

The canton of Roanne-Sud is a French former administrative division located in the department of Loire and the Rhone-Alpes region. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It had 36,417 inhabitants (2012). The canton comprised the following communes:

Saint-Léger-sur-Roanne (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ leʒe syʁ ʁɔan], literally Saint-Léger on Roanne) is a commune in the Loire department in central France. A football team called les Belettes (The Weasels) was created in the village in 2020. In April 2021 the village was the site of a large explosion after gas-cylinders were exposed to fire.

Saint-Vincent-de-Boisset (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ vɛ̃sɑ̃ də bwasɛ]; Arpitan: Sant-Vincent-de-Bouessê) is a commune in the Loire department in central France.

La Maison Troisgros is a Michelin Guide three-starred restaurant, named "Le Bois sans Feuilles" in Roanne, France northwest of the city of Lyon. Head chef, Michel Troisgros of the Troisgros family, runs the hotel-restaurant along with his wife, Marie-Pierre. The original site of the Troisgros' restaurant-hotel, in Roanne, was bought by Michel's grandfather, Jean-Baptiste Troisgros, in 1930. Michel is the cook and his wife Marie-Pierre (they met while she was studying hotel management in Grenoble) looks after the house, the decor and the shop. The restaurant achieved the rank of 25th best in the world in the 2008 edition of The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
