Caledonia-2 Vermont Representative District, 2002–2012

The Christian Union Society Meetinghouse, more recently known as the South Walden United Methodist Church, is a historic church on Bayley-Hazen Military Road in South Walden, Vermont. Built in 1825, it is a prominent local example of Federal style architecture. It is also notable for its association with a 19th-century religious movement in the region known as the "Age of Benevolence". The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Walden is a town in Caledonia County, Vermont, United States. The population was 956 at the 2020 census. The community has no ZIP code of its own; mail is routed through the West Danville and East Hardwick post offices.

Cabot is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Cabot in Washington County, Vermont, United States. The population was 235 at the 2020 census. Cabot Village contains a general store, hardware store, gas station, post office, public school (Pre-K through 12), restaurant, a fraternal hall, and a church. Formerly an incorporated village, Cabot disincorporated at the end of 2010 and reverted to the town of Cabot.

Cabot is a New England town located in the northeast corner of Washington County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,443 at the 2020 census. It contains the unincorporated villages of Cabot Village, Cabot Plains, South Cabot, East Cabot, Molly's Pond (named after Molly, the wife of Indian Joe), and Lower Cabot. Cabot contains several ponds and dairy farms. It is the location of the Cabot Creamery, a producer and national distributor of dairy products, especially known for their cheddar cheese.

Troy is a town in Orleans County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,722 at the 2020 census. Troy contains two villages: the unincorporated village of Troy, and the incorporated village of North Troy.

West Danville is an unincorporated village in the town of Danville, Caledonia County, Vermont, United States. The community is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 2 and Vermont Route 15 8.9 miles (14.3 km) west of St. Johnsbury. West Danville has a post office with ZIP code 05873.In July 2017, the Charles D. Brainerd Public Library reopened in West Danville, again making the village the location of Vermont's smallest library.

The Woodbury Granite Company (WGC) was a producer of rough and finished granite products. Incorporated in 1887, purchased and significantly reorganized in 1896, and expanded by merger in 1902 and thereafter, the company operated quarries principally in Woodbury, Vermont, but its headquarters and stone-finishing facilities were located in nearby Hardwick. Beginning as a quarrier and seller of rough stone, the company expanded into the business of finishing cut stone and grew from there. It made its name as a supplier of architectural (structural) granite, and grew to become the United States' largest producer, supplying the stone for many notable buildings, including several state capitols, numerous post offices, and many office buildings. With the growing national economy and civic and community pride spurring the construction of many granite public buildings, the company flourished in the years around 1910. Changes in architectural styles and in building techniques during the following years greatly harmed the market for architectural granite, and the company's coarser-grained stone could not compete with competitors' finer-grained granite for carving monuments and gravestones, nor could the company compete with the established actors in that market. The company went into decline, which was exacerbated by the Great Depression, and ceased operations in 1935.

Molly's Falls Pond State Park is a 1,064-acre state park in Cabot and Marshfield, Vermont surrounding 411-acre Molly's Falls Pond, a reservoir that is also known as Marshfield Reservoir. This is an undeveloped, day-use park. There is a Vermont Fish and Wildlife access area at the northwest end of the park with a concrete boat ramp and two fishing platforms for shore fishing.

Woodbury is a town in Washington County, Vermont, United States. The population was 928 at the 2020 census.

Woodbury Town Hall is center of town government of Woodbury, Vermont. It is located on the west side of Vermont Route 14 in the town's village center. Built in 1842, it is a well-preserved example of a vernacular Greek Revival municipal building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Fisher Covered Railroad Bridge is a covered bridge in Wolcott, Vermont. Built in 1908, it originally carried the St. Johnsbury and Lamoille County Railroad line over the Lamoille River. Now closed, it was the last covered bridge in Vermont to carry railroad traffic, and is a rare surviving example in the state of a double Town lattice truss. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Caledonia-Washington-1 Representative District is a one-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Caledonia-Washington-1 District includes all of the Caledonia County towns of Danville and Peacham, and the Washington County town of Cabot. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Caledonia-Washington-1 District had a population of 4,089 in that same census, 0.74% above the state average.
