Utica Canal Terminal Harbor, commonly known as Utica Harbor, is a small man-made harbor in Utica, Oneida County, New York. The harbor was once connected to the Mohawk River and the Erie Canal by the Utica Harbor Lock, which is now permanently closed and used only for flood control.

First Baptist Church of Deerfield is a historic Baptist church on Herkimer Road in Utica, Oneida County, New York. It is a wooden frame structure built in 1811 with vernacular Federal style details. The structure is four bays deep and features a square entrance tower attached to the facade.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Bagg's Hotel was located in Utica, New York. The Bagg's Tavern preceded it and hosted General George Washington, General Lafayette, Henry Clay and General Ulysses S. Grant. It was a log house founded in 1794 by Moses Bagg. Bagg's Square Memorial Park marks the historic location.

Byington Mill (Frisbie & Stansfield Knitting Company), also known as the J. A. Firsching & Son Building, is a historic knitting mill located at Utica in Oneida County, New York. It was designed by Utica architect Frederick H. Gouge and was built in 1910 as a four-story structure; a fifth floor was added before 1929. It consists of a rectangular main block built of brick load bearing walls, a heavy timber frame, and a flat roof. A two-story office wing and one story shop section was originally attached to the building. However, this addition was demolished in 2007 when the city erroneously issued a permit to do so. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.The city of Utica repossessed the building in 1983 and sold it to the Cobblestone Construction Co. in 1999. Cobblestone struggled to attract tenants, and left the building in 2008. The building was purchased by Pezzolanella Construction in 2009 for $315,972, and they are presently restoring the structure.

The Children's Museum of History, Natural History & Science, better known as the Utica Children's Museum was founded on August 1, 1963, and is housed in a historic building located in the heart of Utica's downtown Bagg's Square district. The Museum offers approximately 60 exhibits and experiences throughout four floors of mostly interactive exhibits play space and is a hands-on, interactive museum.

Hurd & Fitzgerald Building, also known as the Hurd Sales Company, is a historic factory building located at Utica in Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1911 and is a five-story, rectangular brick building built for a shoe and rubber goods manufacturer.It was a work of Utica architect Frederick H. Gouge. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Doyle Hardware Building is a historic factory building located at 330 Main St in Utica in Oneida County, New York. It was built in three sections between 1881 and 1901. The entire four story complex is approximately 100 feet by 260 feet with 82,000 square feet of space. It was a work of Utica architect Frederick H. Gouge. Built originally as a clothing factory, in 1934 it became a factory for manufacture of spark plugs, and in 1947 became home to Utica Distributing Company, later Doyle Hardware.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Utica Daily Press Building, also known as Gaffney Communications, is a historic building located at Utica in Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1904-1905 as offices and printing plant for the Utica Daily Press. It consists of a 3+1⁄2-story rectangular brick main block, with two 1-story additions.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Memorial Church of the Holy Cross is a historic Episcopal church at 841 Bleecker Street in Utica, Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1891 and is a cruciform plan structure with a rectangular nave that intersects two flanking transepts at the apse. It is in the High Victorian Gothic style. It is currently occupied by a Ukrainian Orthodox congregation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The Boehlert Transportation Center at Union Station is a train station served by Amtrak and the Adirondack Railroad in Utica, New York. It is owned by Oneida County, and named for retired U.S. Rep. Sherwood Boehlert, R-New Hartford. The station was built in the Italianate style and includes a rusticated granite first story with buff brick above. Symmetrically rectangular in plan, there are thirteen bays across the façade and fifteen on the side elevations. A brick parapet crowns the building; over the main entrance is a large clock flanked by eagle sculptures. The Utica station was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.Inside is a restaurant and a barber shop, one of the few barber shops in a train station today. The 15,000-square-foot (1,400 m2) waiting room's 47-foot-high (14 m) vaulted ceiling is supported by 34 marble columns. The station's blueprints called for the importing of columns that originally adorned Grand Central Station in New York City. Twelve large benches are heated by steam pipes and vents incorporated into the benches themselves. A total of eight Amtrak trains use the station daily: two trains (one eastbound, one westbound) on the Lake Shore Limited, four trains (two in each direction) on the Empire Service, and two trains (one in each direction) on the Maple Leaf. In addition, the Adirondack Railroad operates a heritage railway from Utica to Holland Patent, Remsen and Thendara, New York, terminating in Tupper Lake on a seasonal basis.

Lower Genesee Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Utica in Oneida County, New York. The district includes 45 contributing buildings and encompasses a collection of commercial and industrial buildings in the north center of the city. The oldest extant buildings in the city are located here, which includes buildings dating from 1830 to 1929.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
