Belowla Island

The Kioloa Coastal Campus is a small campus of the Australian National University at Kioloa, used for studies in certain sciences. It was created in 1975, when Joy London donated the 3.48 km2 property on the South Coast of New South Wales to the university in perpetuity. The agreement between London and the university stressed that the property "was to be used primarily for teaching and research in the field sciences". The property became the Edith and Joy London Foundation, and is now known as the Kioloa Coastal Campus (KCC) of the Australian National University.It consists of a number of wooden accommodation buildings (with more under refurbishment), a wooden teaching/research building, and a more modern visitors' centre with cooking and eating facilities.The Kioloa Global Land Cover Test Site (GLCTS) Pathfinder site is centered at the campus.

Kioloa is the southern terminus of local bus services provided on weekdays by Ulladulla Bus Lines. Route 741 runs twice daily from Kioloa to Ulladulla via Bawley Point, Termeil, Tabourie and Burrill Lake. An additional afternoon service runs on school days.Kioloa had a public school from 1879 to 1893 and 1912 to 1922, classified variously as a "public", "half-time" or "provisional" school.

The Brush Island is a continental island, contained within the Brush Island Nature Reserve, a protected nature reserve, known as Mit Island in the Dhurga language of the Murramamrang people of the Yuin nation see (http://press-files.anu.edu.au/downloads/press/p326831/html/ch01.xhtml) It is located off the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. The 47-hectare (120-acre) island and reserve is situated within the Tasman Sea, approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south-east of the coastal village of Bawley Point. The island was gazetted as a nature reserve in July 1963 and is important for breeding seabirds. The reserve is listed on Australia’s Register of the National Estate, and has an unmanned lighthouse.

Bawley Point is a small coastal hamlet in New South Wales, Australia, in the Shoalhaven with a population of 698 people at the 2016 census. It is located 30 minutes south of Ulladulla, New South Wales, and 30 minutes north of Batemans Bay on the South Coast of NSW. The town's name is believed to be derived from an Aboriginal word meaning "Brown snake".Bawley Point is well known throughout the region for its fine beaches and peak surf conditions. There is a butcher, baker, pharmacy, bottle shop, caravan park, real estate agent, hardware, take away, and an IGA store at the local shops. Bawley Point is well known and frequented by holiday makers from Canberra and Sydney. Next to this hamlet is the neighbouring Kioloa and Termeil. Murramarang is a national park in New South Wales, Australia, 206 km (128 mi) southwest of Sydney. It follows the coastline from Long Beach north to Merry Beach near Ulladulla. It is surrounded by three state forests, Kioloa, South Brooman, and Benandarrah. The park forms part of the Ulladulla to Merimbula Important Bird Area, identified as such by BirdLife International because of its importance for swift parrots.Murramarang National Park is of great cultural and historical significance for Aboriginal people.

Termeil is a small village in the Shoalhaven area of New South Wales, Australia. Termeil is a predominantly rural hamlet at the junction of Bawley Point Road, providing access to the beachside communities of Bawley Point and Kioloa and the Princes Highway. Ulladulla Bus Lines route 741 serves Termeil twice per day on weekdays.Termeil had a public school from 1885 to 1941 and 1943 to 1955, generally classified as a "public" school, but sometimes as a "provisional" school.

Tabourie Lake, formerly Toubouree Lake is a small village in the suburb of Lake Tabourie, in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia and is within the City of Shoalhaven local government area. The village takes its name from the lagoon formed at the entry of Tabourie Creek into the ocean. Crampton Island lies immediately off shore with access available by foot at low tide. Lake Tabourie is located within Meroo National Park and the bush surrounding the lake is made up of ecologically unique Bangalay Sand Forest. A caravan and camping park is located between the beach and the lake. The village boasts a small museum, opened in 1965 with a collection of local historical exhibits, including fauna, Aboriginal artifacts, and historical furnishings and machinery. The museum and collection was given to the Shoalhaven City Council by its founder Jack Nicholson in 1983.The village relies on the town of Ulladulla, 11 km (6.8 mi) north and its surrounding district for many public services and employment opportunities. Tabourie Lake is served on weekdays by Ulladulla Bus Lines. Route 741 runs twice daily south to Kioloa and north to Ulladulla. An additional afternoon service is provided on school days.
