Boyne City Water Works Building

Boyne City () is a city in Charlevoix County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,816 at the 2020 census, making it the largest city in Charlevoix County. Boyne City is located at the eastern end of Lake Charlevoix, Michigan's third largest inland lake. The city is also the site of the mouth of the Boyne River, named for the River Boyne in Leinster, Ireland.

The Boyne City Central Historic District is a commercial historic district located along the 100 and 200 blocks of Water and Lake Streets and adjacent parts of Main Street and South Park in Boyne City, Michigan. The district also contains the residential structures in the local Pearl Street Historic District to the east of the downtown area. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Boyne River is a stream in Northern Michigan, named for the River Boyne in Leinster, Ireland. Together with the north and south branches, the river system has approximately 22 miles (35 km) of mainstream and the water basin drains 40,320 acres (163.2 km2). Boyne River is Lake Charlevoix's second-largest tributary, after the Jordan River.

The Wolverine Hotel, also known as the Dilworth Hotel or the Wolverine-Dilworth Inn, is a hotel located at 300 Water Street in Boyne City, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is the only hotel remaining in the Boyne area dating from the turn-of-the-century era when Boyne City was a booming lumber town.

Boyne City Municipal Airport (FAA LID: N98) is a public use airport located in the city limits of Boyne City, Michigan. The airport is publicly owned by the City of Boyne City. It is four nautical miles southeast of the Boyne Mountain Airport.

The Ernest Hemingway Cottage, also known as Windemere, was the boyhood summer home of author Ernest Hemingway, on Walloon Lake in Michigan, United States. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1968.

Walloon Lake is a glacier-formed lake located in Charlevoix and Emmet counties, just southwestward from the northern tip of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. It is now home to many vacation homes and cottages. Though the end of the west arm of the lake is less than 1 mile (1.6 km) from Lake Michigan, Walloon Lake's surface elevation is over 100 feet (30 m) higher. The Bear River drains from the east end of the lake in Walloon Lake village, winding east then north down to its outflow into Lake Michigan at the south end of Petoskey.
