It features irregularly shaped, variously sized and colored cobbles in its construction. Also on the property is a 19th-century carriage barn, small shed, and a well with pump.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The station is owned by Robert C. Savage under the name "Radio Livingston." By day, WYSL transmits with 20,000 watts, the second-most-powerful AM station in the Rochester area. But 1040 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WHO in Des Moines. So at night, to avoid interference, WYSL must greatly reduce its power to 500 watts. A directional antenna with a four-tower array is used. Programming is also heard on two FM translators: W221CL at 92.1 MHz in Rochester and W238DE at 95.5 MHz in Spencerport.

The building is typical of the vernacular interpretation of the Greek Revival style in 19th century western New York. It was built by a Baptist congregation in 1870. By the early 20th century, the people changed and in 1924 the church was transferred to Congregational use. In 1964 the United Church of Christ congregation was formed. After it declined, the building was used as a community center.The building was listed in 1977 on the National Register of Historic Places.

School No. 6 is a historic school building located at Lima in Livingston County, New York. It was constructed about 1843 and is a 1-story, vernacular Greek Revival cobblestone building consisting of a two-by-two-bay main block with a one-by-one-bay east wing. It features irregularly shaped, variously sized and colored cobbles in its construction. The school closed in 1943 and converted to a residence after 1953.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

First Presbyterian Church of Avon is a historic Presbyterian church located at East Avon in Livingston County, New York. It is a three- by six-bay Federal style brick building, approximately 46 feet by 60 feet. The center of the principal elevation features a three-story bell tower surmounted by a six sided, broached spire. Construction of the building started in 1812 and it was dedicated in 1827. In 1866 the existing church was renovated and the present tower added.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Asahel Warner House is a historic home located at Lima in Livingston County, New York. It was built about 1810 and is a large two-story, three-bay, rectangular frame dwelling with its gable end oriented toward the street. A one-story kitchen wing is located at the rear. It was remodeled in the 1860s / 1870s and in 1907 and features Italianate details. A third-floor attic contains a Masonic Lodge meeting room with paneling dated to 1907. It is set into the eaves of the front two-thirds of the building and lit only by the front oculus window. Also on the property are a contributing barn, shed, and chicken coop.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
