Livonia, New York

Livonia is a village in the town of Livonia, Livingston County, New York, United States. U.S. Route 20A and Route 15 intersect in the village. The population was 1,409 at the 2010 census, out of 7,809 in the entire town.

Livonia Baptist Church, also known as the Livonia Congregational Church and Livonia United Church of Christ, is a historic Baptist church located at Livonia in Livingston County, New York. The building is typical of the vernacular interpretation of the Greek Revival style in 19th century western New York. It was built by a Baptist congregation in 1870. By the early 20th century, the people changed and in 1924 the church was transferred to Congregational use. In 1964 the United Church of Christ congregation was formed. After it declined, the building was used as a community center.The building was listed in 1977 on the National Register of Historic Places.

Ganoung Cobblestone Farmhouse is a historic home located at Lima in Livingston County, New York. It was constructed in the 1830s and is a vernacular two story, five bay cobblestone structure built in the late Federal / early Greek Revival style. It features irregularly shaped, variously sized and colored cobbles in its construction. Also on the property is a 19th-century carriage barn, small shed, and a well with pump.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

WYSL (1040 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Avon, New York, and serving the Rochester metropolitan area. It broadcasts a talk radio format and is known as "The Voice of Liberty." The station is owned by Robert C. Savage under the name "Radio Livingston." By day, WYSL transmits with 20,000 watts, the second-most-powerful AM station in the Rochester area. But 1040 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WHO in Des Moines. So at night, to avoid interference, WYSL must greatly reduce its power to 500 watts. A directional antenna with a four-tower array is used. Programming is also heard on two FM translators: W221CL at 92.1 MHz in Rochester and W238DE at 95.5 MHz in Spencerport.

USS Lady of the Lake was a small schooner in the United States Navy during the War of 1812. She was built by Henry Eckford of Sacketts Harbor, New York, during the summer and winter of 1812-13, launched 6 April 1813 and entered service 13 days later, Sailing Master Flinn in command.

School No. 6 is a historic school building located at Lima in Livingston County, New York. It was constructed about 1843 and is a 1-story, vernacular Greek Revival cobblestone building consisting of a two-by-two-bay main block with a one-by-one-bay east wing. It features irregularly shaped, variously sized and colored cobbles in its construction. The school closed in 1943 and converted to a residence after 1953.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Conesus Lake Boat Launch is a three-acre (1.2 ha) state park on the east shore of Conesus Lake, one of the minor Finger Lakes, near the village of Livonia in Livingston County, New York. The park is open from late-April to mid-October and offers a boat launch, fishing access, and picnic tables.

Hemlock Fairground is a national historic district and fairground located at Hemlock in Livingston County, New York. The district covers 35.6 acres (144,000 m2) with five contributing buildings and one contributing object, the racetrack. There are two clusters of buildings near the racetrack. One cluster consists of the grandstand (constructed 1870) and livestock sheds located along the perimeter of the track at the southwest corner of the site. The second cluster consists of exhibition buildings located east of the track.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Conesus Lake is a lake located in Livingston County, New York. Conesus Lake is the westernmost of New York's eleven Finger Lakes. It is located off Interstate 390 about 15 miles (24 km) south of Interstate 90.
