Bade District (Chinese: 八德區; pinyin: Bādé Qū) is a district in the central part of Taoyuan City, Taiwan (Republic of China.) It is the smallest district by area in Taoyuan City.

National Defense University (NDU; Chinese: 國防大學; pinyin: Guófáng Dàxué; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Kok-hông Tāi-ha̍k) is a military academy located in Bade District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The NDU offers a wide range of academic programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. The undergraduate program is the Military Academy, which provides four-year undergraduate education and training to prepare cadets for leadership roles in the military.

Landmark Life Plaza (Chinese: 置地生活廣場) is a shopping mall in Bade District, Taoyuan, Taiwan that opened on January 12, 2017 as Kwong Fong Plaza (廣豐新天地). The total floor area of the mall interior is about 107,527 m2 (1,157,410 sq ft), including parking spaces.

The Army Academy R.O.C. (AAROC; Chinese: 陸軍專科學校; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lio̍k-kun Choan-kho Ha̍k-hāu) is a military academy located in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The academy offers a four-year program that covers a broad range of subjects, including military science, tactics, leadership, and physical fitness. In addition, students are required to take courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and other academic disciplines.

Taoyuan Public Library Longgang Branch (Chinese: 桃園市立圖書館龍岡分館; pinyin: Táoyuán shìlì túshūguǎn Lónggāng fēnguǎn, Longgang is spelled variously as Lunggang sometimes) is a branch of Taoyuan Public Library, located within Zhongli, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The library was opened in December 2015, it is the first public library in Longgang area and the third in Zhongli district.

Yuan Ze University (YZU; Chinese: 元智大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Goân-tì Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Established in 1989, YZU campus is in Zhongli District, Taoyuan; Taipei; and Bade District, Taoyuan. Yuan Ze has five colleges, Engineering (accredited by IEET), Informatics, Management (accredited by AACSB and AAPBS), Humanities and Social Sciences, and Electrical and Communication Engineering (accredited by IEET). With over 8,000 students with a 2:1 ratio between undergraduate and graduate students on campus, YZU offers several international programs such as the English Program of Bachelor of Business Administration, Master’s Program in Industrial Engineering and Management. Additionally, the Master’s Programs in Communication Engineering are all taught in English.Yuan Ze ranked 1501+ in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023. In 2023, the university ranked 401–500 in the Times Higher Education Young University Ranking.

The Longgang Mosque or Lungkang Mosque (traditional Chinese: 龍岡清真寺; simplified Chinese: 龙冈清真寺; pinyin: Lónggāng Qīngzhēnsì) is a mosque in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. It is the fifth mosque to be built in Taiwan. As of September 2008, the Imam was Abdullah Liu (Chinese: 柳根榮; pinyin: Liǔ Gēnróng).

Nanya Institute of Technology (Chinese: 南亞技術學院; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lâm-a Ki-su̍t Ha̍k-īⁿ) is a private college in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. NIT offers undergraduate programs in several fields of engineering and technology, including electrical engineering, computer science, information management, mechanical engineering, and industrial engineering. The institution also offers a graduate program in electrical engineering.

The Yung-Feng High School (Chinese: 桃園市立永豐高級中學) is a high school in Bade District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Taoyuan–Zhongli metropolitan area (桃園中壢都會區) is the metropolitan area located in northwestern Taiwan, which encompasses most of Taoyuan City as well as parts of neighbouring urban districts of New Taipei such as Yingge and Linkou, with a total population of 2,309,475 as of mid of 2019. The districts of Taoyuan and Zhongli are typical twin cities within the region which share approximate population sizes and similar function of urban centres, and have been respectively emerging to regional commercial centres on the periphery of the northern and southern parts of the municipality. Many industrial parks and tech company headquarters settle in this region.Taoyuan City witnessed the fastest population growth of Taiwan in the past few decades, and since 2014 it has been promoted to a special municipality from county status. It has become the fourth largest metropolitan area in Taiwan. In some sources, Taoyuan–Zhongli metropolitan area is occasionally viewed as an extent of Taipei metropolitan area due to its proximity and being complementary to each other economically, especially the Taoyuan International Airport is a major hub airport which serves the entirety of northern Taiwan.

Neili (Chinese: 內壢; pinyin: Nèilì) is a railway station in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways.

The Taoyuan Municipal Wu-Ling Senior High School (the hyphen is usually omitted, Chinese: 桃園市立武陵高級中學; pinyin: táo yuán shì lì wǔ líng gāo jí zhōng xué, abbreviation: WLSH) is a secondary school in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, providing education ranging from 9th to 12th grade. The school was founded in 1955 as a program for high schools in the Taipei city to evacuate to in case of possible wars and airstrikes. Given the dramatic sub urbanization and increases in both population and economical power of Taoyuan, the school has thus gained its independence in 1959. Wuling is the high school with the highest entrance score in Taoyuan since 1959. Nation-wise, Wuling is the 6th most common Alma mater for National Taiwan University freshmen in 2017. In general, a large portion of graduates go on to attend universities both national and worldwide every year. National Wu-ling Senior high school has held a student yearly exchange programme with Ozenne High School, Toulouse, France since 2009.
