Carclew, North Adelaide

Strangways Terrace is a street in North Adelaide, South Australia. It is the southwestern boundary between the built environment and the Adelaide parklands including the Adelaide Golf Links. Strangways Terrace is named after Thomas Bewes Strangways who was a member of the Street Naming Committee which met in 1837 to assign names to the streets of the new settlement. It includes a number of grand residences and other places from the early years of the colony which are recorded and protected in the South Australian Heritage Register. The Calvary North Adelaide Hospital maternity ward dating from the 1940s has local heritage listing. Strangways Terrace was the site of the first Colonial Store operated by Thomas Gilbert to supply equipment to government parties.

Jeffcott Street is a north-south street through the largest section of North Adelaide, South Australia. It goes around the sides of Wellington Square. The southern end continues south as Montefiore Road over a bridge over the River Torrens and Adelaide Metro railyards to connect with the northern end of Morphett Street. The Montefiore Road bridge is the latest of many on the site.Jeffcott Street was named in 1837 at a meeting to set street names after John Jeffcott, the first judge of the Supreme Court of South Australia and one of the members of the committee.

Aquinas College on Montefiore Hill, at Palmer Place, North Adelaide, is a residential college providing accommodation and support for Roman Catholic students at one or other of Adelaide's universities: University of Adelaide, Flinders University and the University of South Australia. The centrepiece of the establishment is "Montefiore", once the residence of Sir Samuel Way and (later) his family.

Montefiore Hill is a small hill in North Adelaide, South Australia, which affords a view over the Adelaide city centre.

Christ Church, North Adelaide is an Anglican church on Acre 745 which lays between Jeffcott Street and 36-40 Palmer Place, North Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. The foundation stone was laid on 1 June 1848 by Augustus Short, the first Bishop of Adelaide; and the church was consecrated in 1849. Christ Church was the pro-cathedral until 1877 when St Peter's Cathedral opened. In 1850 a parsonage was built on the southern half of Acre 745. It became the deanery for Dean Marryat in 1887, then a rectory from 1906.In 1868 a site on Jeffcott Street opposite the church was purchased for a schoolroom. The foundation stone was laid on 26 September.

Australian Lutheran College (ALC), formerly Luther Seminary and Lutheran Teachers College, is a higher education institution serving the Lutheran Church of Australia and a registered teaching institution of University of Divinity. It is located in North Adelaide, South Australia on the corner of Ward and Jeffcott streets. The campus includes a number of single and shared accommodation blocks, a library, a refectory as well as educational facilities. Although still primarily a theological college, it is also open to students studying at Adelaide University, the University of South Australia, Flinders University, or TAFE, a paradigm reflected in the name change of 2004. Unique among South Australian residential colleges, Australian Lutheran College is equipped to accommodate married students, even with families. As of 10 August 2014, the principal of the college has been Pastor James Winderlich.

North Adelaide Grammar School, later Whinham College was a private school operated in North Adelaide, South Australia by John Whinham (3 August 1803 – 13 March 1886) and his family.

North Adelaide Golf Course is a 54 hole golf course in Adelaide, South Australia. The golf course is situated in the park lands which surround the City of Adelaide. The course consists of three courses, the Par 69 North Course, the Par 71 South Course, and an 18 hole Par 3 course. The North Adelaide Golf Course is perhaps the only golf course of its size to be located only a kilometre away from the business heart of a capital city.

Calvary Hospital North Adelaide is a private, not-for-profit Catholic hospital in North Adelaide. It was previously known as Calvary Hospital Adelaide, originally North Adelaide Hospital, and is one of Adelaide's oldest hospitals, having first been established around 1884, with the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary taking control in 1900.

Adelaide Oval is a sports ground in Adelaide, South Australia, located in the parklands between the city centre and North Adelaide. The venue is predominantly used for cricket and Australian rules football, but has also played host to rugby league, rugby union, soccer, tennis among other sports as well as regularly being used to hold concerts. Austadiums.com described Adelaide Oval as being "one of the most picturesque Test cricket grounds in Australia, if not the world". After the completion of the ground's most recent redevelopment in 2014, sports journalist Gerard Whateley described the venue as being "the most perfect piece of modern architecture because it's a thoroughly contemporary stadium with all the character that it's had in the past".Adelaide Oval has been headquarters to the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) since 1871 and South Australian National Football League (SANFL) since 2014. The stadium is managed by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (AOSMA). Its record crowd for cricket was 55,317 for the Second Ashes Test on 2 December 2017 and its record crowd for an Australian rules football match was 62,543 at the 1965 SANFL Grand Final between Port Adelaide and Sturt.

St Mark's College is a university co-residential college in North Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1925, it is affiliated with the Anglican Church of Australia. It is the oldest residential college in South Australia and is associated with the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University. Located next to St Peter's Cathedral on Pennington Terrace, the College houses 245 tertiary students in both dormitory and apartment accommodation.
