The Mezquita de las Tornerías (Arabic: al-Mustimim) is a Moorish former mosque in Toledo (Castile-La Mancha, Spain). It was built in the middle of the 11th century on the foundations of Roman architecture, located in the old Muslim neighborhood Arrabal de Francos. Currently it houses the "Center Foundation of Promotion of the Crafts", that can be visited and hosts temporary exhibitions. The building continued maintaining the Islamic faith in Spain well beyond the reconquista of the city by the Christian troops of Alfonso VI of León and Castile in 1085, until the period of 1498–1505, when it was desacralizated by the Catholic Monarchs. Already as a building for civil use, it went through various vicissitudes, first as an inn in 1505 and then as the headquarters of different businesses and small factories or as a simple home. Its history was lost until the late 19th century, when historians investigating its origins didn't know whether it was a synagogue or a mosque. After the studies, on the 15 of March 1905, the finding of an Arab mosque in the street of the Tornerías was officially communicated to the Real Academia de la Historia.

The Cave of Hercules (Spanish: Cueva de Hércules) is a subterranean vaulted space dating back to Roman times located in the alley of San Ginés (Spanish: Callejón San Ginés) in the city of Toledo, Spain. The cave is under a building located where the Church of San Ginés, Toledo stood until 1841.

The Teatro Rojas is a theater in the city of Toledo, Castile-La Mancha, Spain, inaugurated in 1879 on the old corral de comedias, Mesón de la Fruta. Its construction involved several architects. It is named for the local playwright Francisco de Rojas.

The Archdiocese of Toledo (Latin: Archidioecesis Metropolitae Toletana) is a Latin Church archdiocese of the Catholic Church located in Spain. They are also the Primates of Spain. It was, according to tradition established in the 1st century by James the Great and was elevated to an archdiocese in 313 after the Edict of Milan. The incumbent Metropolitan Archbishop also bears the title Primate of Spain and since 1937 the title General Vicar of the Armies (but the pastoral care for the Spanish armed forces is now provided, since 1986, by the Military Archbishopric of Spain)

The building of the former Casino of Toledo (Spain), whose real name corresponds to the one of Center of Artists and Industrialists, belongs to the trend of Eclecticism that develops In Europe in the 19th century. The architect, Felipe Trigo, mixed elements of the Renaissance, in the configuration and planning of the facade, and Mudéjar, in the use of the brick. The building, whose plant is a quadrilateral, has four floors and a tower; the latter form chamfered corner and houses the main entrance. The materials used in the exterior are very different. Granite has been used in plinth, portal, corners and decorative elements; brick in holes, trim and turret, and masonry in the canvases. Two construction zones can be differentiated, considering the time in which they were erected. The oldest dating from the 1920s and the most recent was built in the 1960s. In 2015 a Saudi Sheikh buys part of the casino for an Islamic interpretation center.

The Convent of the Calced Augustinians (Spanish: Convento de las Agustinas Calzadas) is an Augustinian convent located in Toledo, Spain. The word calzadas translates to "calced" (or shod) in English, referring to the fact that the community wore shoes, rather than going barefoot as other (stricter) religious orders did.

The Mosque of Cristo de la Luz is a Catholic chapel and former mosque in Toledo, Spain. It is the one of the ten that existed in the city during the Moorish period. The edifice was then known as Mezquita Bab-al-Mardum, deriving its name from the city gate Bab al-Mardum. It is located near the Puerta del Sol, in an area of the city once called Medina where wealthy Muslims used to live.

The Primatial Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo (Spanish: Catedral Primada Santa María de Toledo), otherwise known as Toledo Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church in Toledo, Spain. It is the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered, in the opinion of some authorities, to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain. It was begun in 1226 under the rule of Ferdinand III, and the last Gothic contributions were made in the 15th century when, in 1493, the vaults of the central nave were finished during the time of the Catholic Monarchs. It was modeled after the Bourges Cathedral, although its five naves plan is a consequence of the constructors' intention to cover all of the sacred space of the former city mosque with the cathedral, and of the former sahn with the cloister. It also combines some characteristics of the Mudéjar style, mainly in the cloister, with the presence of multifoiled arches in the triforium. The spectacular incorporation of light and the structural achievements of the ambulatory vaults are some of its more remarkable aspects. It is built with white limestone from the quarries of Olihuelas, near Toledo. It is popularly known as Dives Toletana (meaning The Rich Toledan in Latin). The Mozarabic Chapel in the Cathedral of Toledo still uses the Hispano-Mozarabic Rite and music.

The Plaza de Zocodover is a square in the city of Toledo, in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It was the central hub of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. Part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera during the reign of Philip II. Horses, donkeys, foals, mares, mules and other animals were sold in the square when Toledo was a Spanish-Muslim city. The city's most important market takes place here, as it has for centuries. Today it is held on Tuesdays in the vicinity of Paseo de Merchán or de la Vega.

The Convento de los Carmelitas Descalzos is a Discalced Carmelite convent dating to 1643 located in the city of Toledo (Castile-La Mancha, Spain). Azulejos panels from the 18th century covers the central nave and the chapels. The altarpieces was introduced from other buildings.

The Palacio Arzobispal de Toledo or Archbishop's Palace of Toledo is a palace located in front of the Cathedral and next to the City Hall in the city of Toledo, region of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It was built on land donated to the church by Jose Manuel Thotocopuli, son of El Greco. The palace was constructed over centuries. Cardinal Tavera charged Alonso de Covarrubias with building an arch connecting to the cathedral as well as the main facade. In the 17th century a partial attempt was made to give uniformity to the facade. Of interest are the portals, including the main one facing to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. The flanking wings have composite brick and stone, but the center is smooth stone with a triangular tympanum. The small iron upper balcony is flanked with nymphs holding a cardinal's coat of arms. The tympanum is decorated with the Habsburg double eagle, decorated in Mannerist style with coupled columns. The interior chapel was built in the Baroque style.

The Puerta Bab al-Mardum, or Puerta de Valmardón, is a city gate of Toledo, Spain. It was built in the 10th century and is one of the oldest gates in the city. Its name 'mardum' is Arabic for 'blocked up'. Perhaps because its function was taken over by the Puerta del Sol. The Spanish name Valmardón is a rough, phonetic imitation of the Arabic. 'Mezquita Bab al-Mardum' is another name for the nearby Mosque of Cristo de la Luz.
