The Plaza de Zocodover is a square in the city of Toledo, in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It was the central hub of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. Part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera during the reign of Philip II. Horses, donkeys, foals, mares, mules and other animals were sold in the square when Toledo was a Spanish-Muslim city. The city's most important market takes place here, as it has for centuries. Today it is held on Tuesdays in the vicinity of Paseo de Merchán or de la Vega.

The Mezquita de las Tornerías (Arabic: al-Mustimim) is a Moorish former mosque in Toledo (Castile-La Mancha, Spain). It was built in the middle of the 11th century on the foundations of Roman architecture, located in the old Muslim neighborhood Arrabal de Francos. Currently it houses the "Center Foundation of Promotion of the Crafts", that can be visited and hosts temporary exhibitions. The building continued maintaining the Islamic faith in Spain well beyond the reconquista of the city by the Christian troops of Alfonso VI of León and Castile in 1085, until the period of 1498–1505, when it was desacralizated by the Catholic Monarchs. Already as a building for civil use, it went through various vicissitudes, first as an inn in 1505 and then as the headquarters of different businesses and small factories or as a simple home. Its history was lost until the late 19th century, when historians investigating its origins didn't know whether it was a synagogue or a mosque. After the studies, on the 15 of March 1905, the finding of an Arab mosque in the street of the Tornerías was officially communicated to the Real Academia de la Historia.

The Museum of the Army (Spanish: Museo del Ejército) is a national museum located in Toledo, Spain, attached to the Ministry of Defence. The collection was previously housed in Madrid, and the museum opened on its present site in 2010. It occupies two linked buildings, Toledo's historic Alcázar (castle) and a purpose-built extension.

The siege of the Alcázar was a highly symbolic Nationalist victory in Toledo in the opening stages of the Spanish Civil War. The Alcázar of Toledo was held by a variety of military forces in favour of the Nationalist uprising. Militias of the parties in the Popular Front began their siege on July 21, 1936. The siege ended on September 27 with the arrival of the Army of Africa under Francisco Franco.

The Alcázar of Toledo (Spanish: Alcázar de Toledo, IPA: [alˈkaθaɾ ðe toˈleðo]) is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. It is a large quadrangular building measuring 60 meters on a side, framed by four large towers 60 meters high, each crowned by the typical Madrid spire. Most of the building was rebuilt between 1939 and 1957 after the siege of the Alcázar during the Spanish Civil War.

The Teatro Rojas is a theater in the city of Toledo, Castile-La Mancha, Spain, inaugurated in 1879 on the old corral de comedias, Mesón de la Fruta. Its construction involved several architects. It is named for the local playwright Francisco de Rojas.

The Iglesia de las Santas Justa y Rufina is a medieval church in Toledo, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It is one of a group of so-called Mozarabic parish churches in Toledo, whose existence has been documented since 1156. However, certain material remains reveal the existence in this place of an Islamic construction, which would undoubtedly have to be identified with a mosque. Until very recently, the only testimony of the existence of an Islamic construction consisted of a fragment of arch that, on a Visigothic pilaster, was embedded in the northwest facade of the temple. The reuse of a piece from previous period, combined with the characteristics of the cutting of the arch, allow them to think of an Islamic work dating around 10th century. Once the temple was consecrated to Christian worship, its apse had to be erected, whose formal characteristics would lead it to relate it to that of the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz and, therefore, to date it with a similar chronology: 12th century or early 13th century. In this way, it would be inserted in the first phase of the Toledan Mudéjar. The main transformations of the building arrived from 1530, by the hand of Alonso de Covarrubias.

Convent of Santa Fe (Spanish: Convento de Santa Fe) is a former monastery situated in Toledo, Spain. It is situated in the north-east of the historic centre of the city. Included in the heritage listing Bien de Interés Cultural, it has been protected since 30 September 1919. It is built on ancient Muslim ruins.

The Museum of Santa Cruz (Spanish: Museo de Santa Cruz) is an art, archaeology and ethnographic museum located in the historic centre of the city of Toledo, Spain. It exhibits collections pertaining to the province of Toledo, including works painted by El Greco in the city of Toledo. The museum is housed in an architecturally significant 16th-century building, the Hospital de Santa Cruz, which has been protected by a heritage designation, currently Bien de Interés Cultural, since 1902. It is owned by the Spanish State and operated by the regional administration, the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.

The Archdiocese of Toledo (Latin: Archidioecesis Metropolitae Toletana) is a Latin Church archdiocese of the Catholic Church located in Spain. They are also the Primates of Spain. It was, according to tradition established in the 1st century by James the Great and was elevated to an archdiocese in 313 after the Edict of Milan. The incumbent Metropolitan Archbishop also bears the title Primate of Spain and since 1937 the title General Vicar of the Armies (but the pastoral care for the Spanish armed forces is now provided, since 1986, by the Military Archbishopric of Spain)

The Templar House in Toledo, is a residence in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It was built and decorated between the years 1085 and 1114. The property was once owned by the Knights Templar, and founds use as a guest house in the 14th century.

The Plaza de San Justo is a square located in the city of Toledo, in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. In the upper part of the city, halfway between the Alcázar and the Cathedral there is a square named after the Church of San Justo y Pastor. Of the same church and in that same square it says the legend of "The Christ of the Cutlery". There a sign where it read the legend where events are supposed to happen, or not. Also this small square houses other buildings of interest, such as the Palacio de Amusco and the Former Solís Sanatorium.
