Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, also known as Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, is a historic church complex and national historic district located in the Lovejoy neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The complex was built between 1912 and 1965, and consists of the yellow brick Byzantine Revival style, roughly 2-story church (designed in 1932 by architect Joseph E. Fronczak), a 1-story parish hall (designed in 1964 by Robert Zinter), a 2-story frame house that serves as a rectory (c. 1912), and a frame garage (c. 1912). The church has a cross-in-square type plan, and the front facade features two 3-story towers. It is the oldest Orthodox church in Buffalo and oldest in use in the Orthodox Diocese of New York and New Jersey.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Engine House No. 28 is a historic fire station building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a Queen Anne style structure built in 1897.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Lovejoy District is a neighborhood in Buffalo, New York. Lovejoy is the easternmost portion of the city, running along the city's border with Cheektowaga. Lovejoy is named after Sarah Lovejoy, an American killed in December 1813 during a British-Indian raid on Buffalo during Niagara Frontier warfare of the War of 1812.

Doyle is a hamlet in the town of Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York, United States. The southern half is part of the Kaisertown neighborhood, which includes portions of Cheektowaga, West Seneca, and South Buffalo.

Cayuga Creek is a small stream in western New York, United States, with stretches in both Erie County and Wyoming County. The creek enters Buffalo Creek in the northwest corner of the Town of West Seneca in Erie County, just upstream from the New York State Thruway crossing. At that point, Buffalo Creek becomes the Buffalo River and flows into Lake Erie near Buffalo, New York. The creek is named after the Cayuga nation, one of the constituent members of the Iroquois Confederacy.

Cheektowaga Southwest was a census-designated place within the southwestern part of the town of Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York during the 1960 United States Census. The population recorded was 12,766. The census area dissolved in 1970, however the census area became part of Cheektowaga CDP in 1980, when the CDP recorded a population of 92,145. The Academy School 131 (also known as Alternative High School is an alternative school located in Buffalo, New York. It has gone through two separate eras, and was located at 268 Oak Street in Downtown Buffalo. The original Buffalo Alternative High School was closed in 2003 due to budget cuts, with a new alternative high school program being re-opened in Buffalo in 2006.

Wollenberg Grain and Seed Elevator was a historic grain and seed elevator located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It was built in 1912 and remained in service until 1987. It was notable as the sole surviving example of a wooden or so-called "country style" elevator. It was built in the style of the earliest elevators dating to the 1840s and had a capacity of 25,000 bushels.It was destroyed by fire in October 2006.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Buffalo Public School No. 44, also known as Lincoln School, is a historic school building located in the Lovejoy neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The original section was built in 1907, and is a three-story, red brick, "E"-shaped building with Renaissance Revival detailing. Major additions were made to the original building in 1930 and 1975. Architectural details include Onondaga limestone trim and Ionic pilasters with red terra cotta bases and capitals. The building reflects the evolution of standardized urban public school designs in the early 20th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

Villa Maria Motherhouse Complex, or Felician Sisters Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent Chapel and Convent, is a historic Roman Catholic convent and school complex located at Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York. It is included in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. It was constructed in 1927, and is a three-part Gothic Revival building that was built for the Felician Sisters of St. Francis to house a boarding and day high school, public and private chapels and the Motherhouse/Novitiate. The school, known as Villa Maria Academy, closed in 2006.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Concordia Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It consists of a 15-acre (61,000 m2) rectangular plot and was founded in 1859 by three German congregations: First Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Peter's Evangelical Church, and St. Stephen's Evangelical Church. It has an important association with the immigrant German community in Buffalo during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The cemetery includes approximately 21,000 plots.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
