CPR Buffalo Yard

The Lovejoy District is a neighborhood in Buffalo, New York. Lovejoy is the easternmost portion of the city, running along the city's border with Cheektowaga. The councilman of the area in 2017 is Richard Fontana. Lovejoy is named after Sarah Lovejoy, an American killed in December 1813 during a British-Indian raid on Buffalo during Niagara Frontier warfare of the War of 1812.

Buffalo Central Terminal is an historic former railroad station in Buffalo, New York. An active station from 1929 to 1979, the 17-story Art Deco style station was designed by architects Fellheimer & Wagner for the New York Central Railroad. After years of abandonment, it is now owned by the non-profit preservation group Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, which is working to restore and re-purpose the complex. The Central Terminal is located in the city of Buffalo's Broadway/Fillmore district.

Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, also known as Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, is a historic church complex and national historic district located in the Lovejoy neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The complex was built between 1912 and 1965, and consists of the yellow brick Byzantine Revival style, roughly 2-story church (designed in 1932 by architect Joseph E. Fronczak), a 1-story parish hall (designed in 1964 by Robert Zinter), a 2-story frame house that serves as a rectory (c. 1912), and a frame garage (c. 1912). The church has a cross-in-square type plan, and the front facade features two 3-story towers. It is the oldest Orthodox church in Buffalo and oldest in use in the Orthodox Diocese of New York and New Jersey.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Academy School 131 (also known as Alternative High School is an alternative school located in Buffalo, New York. It has gone through two separate eras, and was located at 268 Oak Street in Downtown Buffalo. The original Buffalo Alternative High School was closed in 2003 due to budget cuts, with a new alternative high school program being re-opened in Buffalo in 2006.

Buffalo Public School No. 44, also known as Lincoln School, is a historic school building located in the Lovejoy neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The original section was built in 1907, and is a three-story, red brick, "E"-shaped building with Renaissance Revival detailing. Major additions were made to the original building in 1930 and 1975. Architectural details include Onondaga limestone trim and Ionic pilasters with red terra cotta bases and capitals. The building reflects the evolution of standardized urban public school designs in the early 20th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

Engine House No. 28 is a historic fire station building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a Queen Anne style structure built in 1897.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Corpus Christi R.C. Church Complex is a series of several buildings located on Buffalo's historic East Side within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. The complex contains the Kolbe Center, Sears Street Hall, Rectory, Convent and the huge sandstone church that towers over the neighborhood. The complex school was closed in 1982 and has been razed.

The Buffalo Fire Historical Museum is located in Buffalo, New York at William and North Ogden Streets. Established and staffed by retired members of the Buffalo Fire Department, the museum seeks to preserve the history of the BFD since its inception in the mid-to-late 19th century. Exhibits include photos of historic Buffalo Fire apparatus, several pieces of apparatus including an Ahrens-Fox pumper, and a horse-drawn steamer.Also included are pictures, accounts, and artifacts from the December 27, 1983 North Division Street explosion that killed five firefighters, two civilians, destroyed about a million in fire equipment, and leveled several city blocks, as well as the infamous fire alarm box # 29 also known as the Hoodoo Box. It was so called because whenever this particular box, located at Seneca and Wells streets in Buffalo, New York was used, the call would usually end up tragic for the Buffalo Fire Department.

Wollenberg Grain and Seed Elevator was a historic grain and seed elevator located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It was built in 1912 and remained in service until 1987. It was notable as the sole surviving example of a wooden or so-called "country style" elevator. It was built in the style of the earliest elevators dating to the 1840s and had a capacity of 25,000 bushels.It was destroyed by fire in October 2006.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Cazenovia Creek is a creek in Western New York, United States. It is a tributary of the Buffalo River, which empties into Lake Erie. Cazenovia Creek and its watershed are entirely within Erie County.

Buffalo Public School No. 57, also known as Broadway Village Elementary Community School, is a historic school building located in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. It was built in 1914, and is a three-story, red brick building over a full basement with Classical Revival detailing. It is connected to a one-story auditorium building by a one-story hyphen. The building was originally constructed as an addition to the original 1897 Public School No. 57, which was demolished in 1960. The school has been redeveloped as a multi-use facility including apartments, offices, and a community center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

Saint Adalbert Basilica, (referred to in Polish as Bazylika Swietego Wojciecha) is a historic Roman Catholic church located on Buffalo, New York's East Side within the Diocese of Buffalo. It is a prime example of the Polish Cathedral style of church architecture in both its opulence and grand scale. A rare and special designation bestowed on the parish occurred in 1907, when the Vatican proclaimed St. Adalbert a basilica, the first in the USA. The proclamation, as well as its English translation, can be viewed to this day in the basilica's museum room.
