Springboro Historic District

While the National Historic Register officially entitles the home as the Aaron Wright House, Dr. Wright preferred the spelling as Aron. The current owners of the property, Larry and Cheryl Dillin, utilize his preferred spelling. In 2020/2021 the property underwent significant restoration, including structural work and exterior paint and lighting. Recently, the property and the Dillins were awarded with a National historic preservation award from the local Daughters of the Revolution Chapter The Dr. Aaron Wright House is a historic home located in Springboro, Ohio. It was built by Dr. Aaron Wright in 1857. Since 1979 the house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Miami Valley College, initially called Miami Valley Institute, was a college in Springboro, Ohio. It was founded in 1870 by Aron Wright and other Quakers. Wright served as its president until 1879 and the college closed in 1883.

Clearcreek Township is one of the eleven townships of Warren County, Ohio, United States, located in the north central portion of the county. It had a population of 36,238 in 2020. It was originally about forty-two square miles in area. The highest point in the county is in Clearcreek Township, near the community of Five Points. Statewide, the only other Clearcreek Townships are located in Fairfield County and in Ashland County.

Most of the city is located in Warren County, and is part of Metro Cincinnati. The far northern portion is in Montgomery County, the central county of Metro Dayton. Most of Springboro is served by the Springboro Community School District and its high school, Springboro High School.

Springboro High School is a public high school in Springboro, Ohio, United States, with a total of over 2,000 students and 120 teachers. The Springboro Community City School District serves the city of Springboro and parts of Franklin, Clearcreek, Wayne, and Turtlecreek townships. Springboro High School is the only public high school in the suburb of Springboro and the only high school in the Springboro Community City School District. The school has been ranked academically "excellent" on a consistent basis, the highest possible rating by the state of Ohio Department of Education. SHS was established in 1893. In the 2011-12 school year SHS was honored as the top public high school in the Great Lakes region and was recognized as part of the United States Department of Education's National Blue Ribbon Schools Program.The current home of SHS has been open since August 1998 with two new academic wings added on and opened in August 2006. It is Springboro's third building used as the high school within the past 45 years.

It is owned and operated by the City of Dayton and serves as the reliever airport for Dayton International Airport. It mainly serves corporate and personal aircraft users. The airport's identifying code, MGY, is a reference to its former name of Montgomery County Airport.

Ridgeville is an unincorporated community in central Clearcreek Township, Warren County, Ohio, United States. It is located on State Route 48 in the north central part of the county, in sections 30 and 36, T4R4, Between the Miami Rivers Survey. Ridgeville was platted in 1814 by Fergus McLean, the father of John McLean, afterward a United States Supreme Court Justice. A post office called Ridgeville was established in 1815, and remained in operation until 1908.

Pekin is approximately 3 miles south of Springboro and 7 miles northwest of Lebanon. A post office called Pekin was established in 1874, and remained in operation until 1901.
