In November 2009 the ICE formally changed its name from the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA).The ICE is an accredited standards developer by the American National Standards Institute.

The Center for Individual Rights (CIR) is a non-profit public interest law firm in the United States. It has represented individuals and groups, often in university environments, challenging attempts to interfere with speech deemed "politically incorrect". A third focus has been federalism, the attempt to prevent Congress from legislating beyond the powers provided to it in the Constitution.

Population Services International (PSI) is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit global health organization with programs targeting malaria, child survival, HIV, and reproductive health. PSI provides products, clinical services and behavior change communications for the health of people in high-need populations.

The Endocrine Society is a professional, international medical organization in the field of endocrinology and metabolism, founded in 1916 as the Association for the Study of Internal Secretions. The official name of the organization was changed to the Endocrine Society on January 1, 1952. It is a leading organization in the field and publishes four leading journals. In addition, it regularly publishes medical guidelines on topics in the field of endocrinology. It has more than 18,000 members from over 120 countries in medicine, molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, physiology, genetics, immunology, education, and allied health. The Society's mission is: "to advance excellence in endocrinology and promote its essential and integrative role in scientific discovery, medical practice, and human health." Annual meetings have been held since 1916 except in 1943 and 1945 during World War II when meetings were cancelled at the request of the United States government. Realizing the increasing importance of endocrinology to general medicine, the Council, in 1947, established an annual postgraduate assembly now known as the Clinical Endocrinology Update. The Society publishes Endocrinology, the first issue of which was published in January 1927 and edited by Henry Harrower. Another publication, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology (JCEM), was established in 1941, and the name of the journal was changed to The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism on January 1, 1952. Current publications include: Endocrine Reviews, JCEM Case Reports, and Journal of the Endocrine Society (JES).

The Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States is the official representative of the Vietnamese government to the government of the United States. From the 1950s to May 23, 1975, the residence of the ambassador hosted the embassy of South Vietnam, when it was closed. It later donated its film reel collection to the Library of Congress.

Among other transgender-related issue areas, NCTE focuses on discrimination in employment, access to public accommodations, fair housing, identity documents, hate crimes and violence, criminal justice reform, federal research surveys and the Census, and health care access.
