The Institute of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, or IST, is a private institute located at Dhaka, Bangladesh and first affiliated institute with the National University. The institute is regulated by a governing body consisting of professors of Dhaka University, subjects experts, within the rules and regulations of National University of Bangladesh.

The National College of Home Economics is a constituent college of the University of Dhaka, directed by the governing body of Dhaka University. Bangladesh Medical College (BMC), established in 1986, is the oldest private medical college as well as the oldest private institute for tertiary education in Bangladesh. The college is located in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka as a constituent college. It offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognised by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. The college is attached to 500-bed Bangladesh Medical College Hospital.

The Nazrul Institute is Bangladesh's national institute, established in February 1985. Its headquarters are located in Kabi Bhaban in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It fulfills a number of roles; promoting the literary work of the poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, recognising excellence in literature research by conferring awards, and public engagement.

Government Physical Education College, Dhaka (Bengali: সরকারী শারীরিক শিক্ষা কলেজ, ঢাকা, romanized: Shorkari Sharirik Shikkha College, Dhaka) is a physical education college in Bangladesh which is committed to provide students a chance to study how to keep themselves healthy with lifelong skills.

Mastermind School is a British-curriculum school in Bangladesh established in 1997. It offers English-medium education to students from Play Group age to grade 12, leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (under Edexcel) or GCE Ordinary Level (under Cambridge) and General Certificate of Education A-Level examinations, held under the Edexcel and Cambridge examination board. The main buildings are located in Dhanmondi, with a branch in Uttara. The school's principal is Syed Fakruddin Ahmed, who in the past years, doubled as the senior physics teacher. Mastermind School won "The Most Versatile School" award in 2011 and 2015, and was the Champion of the junior category in 2015 at the Biotechnology Fest, Hosted by City Montessori School, in Lucknow, India. Mastermind School provides extra-curricular activities of debating, community service, and sports. The school clubs are run by an executive committee, selected for each club. Every year the Mastermind Community Service Club takes part in charitable works, including charity food sales, paying visits at Ashiq Foundation (a rehabilitation centre for under-privileged cancer-affected children), collection of winter clothes for charity distribution, a blood donation camp and art competition for autistic children.

St. Joseph Higher Secondary School (Bengali: সেন্ট যোসেফ উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়) is a Catholic higher secondary school in 97 Asad Avenue Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is a mono-ed (boys') school offering education from third grade to twelfth grade, averaging 8–18 years of age. The school is a single shift school with over 2500 students. Established in 1954 as the "St. Joseph English Medium School" in 16 Monir Hossain Lane, Narinda in the current old part of Dhaka by the Congregation of Holy Cross missionaries, the institution had a General Certificate of Education (GCE) based education structure. The current campus is at 97, Asad Avenue, Mohammedpur, Dhaka.

SFX Greenherald International School is a private, elite, English-Medium school in Bangladesh.
