The Leylands was an area of Leeds, north of the city centre and west of Mabgate. John Cossins' 1726 Plan of Leedes shows two fields marked Ley Lands north of Lady Lane and west of the Sheepscar Beck (also later known as Lady Beck) which correspond to the area.

Leeds College of Building in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, is the only further education college in the UK which specialises in the construction industry. It was established in 1960 and currently has about 6,500 students. It has two campuses, the North Street campus and the South Bank campus.It has courses ranging from entry level through to degree, focussed on National Vocational Qualifications and Apprenticeships for occupations relevant to the construction and built environment sector. In 2018 they were awarded BTEC Apprenticeship Provider of the Year for their continued development of apprenticeships within the sector.

The Templar Hotel is a historic public house located on the corner of Templar Street and Vicar Lane in the city centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was listed at Grade II by Historic England in 2019 following a campaign by Leeds Civic Trust, due to its many original 19th and 20th century external and interior features. The ground floor is clad with distinctive green and cream Burmantofts faience tiling with stained glass windows.

Ribbons (2024) is an outdoor sculpture in Leeds, England, by Pippa Hale, which was unveiled on 12 October 2024. Shaped like entwined ribbons, this corten steel sculpture celebrates and commemorates the achievements of women in Leeds, by featuring the names of women nominated by the public. This redresses the gender imbalance in public art in Leeds.

Victoria Leeds is a shopping district and leisure area in central Leeds, comprising the 1990 Victoria Quarter, an arcaded complex of restored 19th century and contemporary shopping arcades, and the 2016 Victoria Gate development. Notable for its role in the regeneration of Leeds' city centre, and a programme of restoration and reuse which included commissiong the largest work of stained glass work in Europe, designed by artist Brian Clarke, to cover the newly-pedestrianised Queen Victoria Street, the 1990 scheme created a covered retail district of linked arcades. In 2016 ,the Victoria Quarter was merged with the newly built Victoria Gate complex to form the largest premium retail and leisure venue in Northern England. The district includes a casino and major stores such as Harvey Nichols and John Lewis and Partners.

Leeds Playhouse is a theatre in the city centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It opened in 1990 in the Quarry Hill area of the city as the West Yorkshire Playhouse, successor to the original Leeds Playhouse, and was rebranded in June 2018 to revert to the title "Leeds Playhouse". It has two auditoria and a studio space, hosts a wide range of productions, and engages in outreach work in the local community.

The Yorkshire Evening News Tournament was a professional golf tournament that was held in the Leeds area of Yorkshire, England between 1923 and 1963. It was a fixture on the British PGA tournament circuit, which would later become the European Tour. Before World War II, it was a knockout match play tournament preceded by a 36-hole stroke play qualifying round; when it was revived following the war it was a pure stroke play tournament, except for 1949 when it was played as knockout match play. In the early years, the Yorkshire Evening News Tournament was considered a British major golf tournament. "The first tournament, in 1923, was billed as the unofficial ‘Championship of the World’ between American superstars Walter Hagen and Gene Sarazen. Hagen triumphed, but lost in the final by a two-hole margin to Ryder Cup star Herbert Jolly."

Leeds City bus station serves the city of Leeds, England. Owned and managed by West Yorkshire Metro, it is situated between the Quarry Hill and Leeds Kirkgate Markets areas of Leeds city centre. The National Express Dyer Street Coach Station adjoins the bus station.

The Man Behind The Curtain is a restaurant in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, which was opened in 2014 by chef Michael O'Hare. The restaurant has a reputation for modern and often unusual food, with modern and artistic presentation. It was awarded a Michelin star in October 2015, and three AA Rosettes in 2016, following in the footsteps of three other Leeds restaurants to hold a Michelin star: Pool Court on the Calls (1996–2005); Rascasse on Water Lane (1997–2000); and Guellar (2002).

The Grand Arcade is a shopping arcade located on New Briggate in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, and a Grade II listed building. It was built by New Briggate Arcade Company Ltd in 1897, with Smith & Tweedal as architects, in Renaissance style with Modern Style (British Art Nouveau style) details.The arcade was built on land in Briggate owned by the Lupton family who had also owned land in nearby North Street/Mabgate and Merrion Street since the mid-18th century. Their Briggate land housed buildings including Lupton's Mill and its accompanying dam which were demolished by 1897 to build the arcade.The arcade originally consisted of two parallel arcades running between Vicar Lane and New Briggate, with a cross passage onto Merrion Street. The northern arcade was converted to the Tower Cinema in 1920 and further converted into a nightclub in 1985. The remaining passage features an animated clock by Potts of Leeds.

BBC Radio Leeds is the BBC's local radio station serving the county of West Yorkshire. It broadcasts on FM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds from studios at St Peter's Square in Leeds. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 184,000 listeners and a 4.6% share as of June 2023.

The Grand Theatre, also known as Leeds Grand Theatre and Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House, is a theatre and opera house in Briggate, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It seats approximately 1,500 people.
