Komořany (German: Komoran) is a former village which is now a cadastral subdivision of the municipal district of Prague 12.

Točná (German: Totschna) is a village, and a cadastral subdivision of the municipal district of Prague 12. There are 31 streets and 413 addresses registered, and a population of 679. The village lies just north of Prague's southern border, formed by the Břežaný valley, south-west of Cholupice, north-west of the municipality of Dolní Břežany. Between Točná and the Vltava river to the west is a protected forest. A private airport is located within the northern part of the village limits, near the area called Nouzov. The northern part of the village limits are bisected by Prague's Outer Ring Road, which then submerges into a tunnel just south of the airport. Bus line 113 terminates in the village, and line 341 passes through it. The village has a football pitch, home of the TJ Točná football club. It also has a nursery school, one of the largest second-hand clothing stores in Prague, three automotive repair shops and a garden centre. In 2014, a pub, Hospoda na Točné, opened on Branišovská street.

The Berounka is a river in the Czech Republic, 138.2 km (85.9 mi) long, the biggest left tributary of Vltava, draining an area of 8,708 km2 (3,362 sq mi). It carries the name Mže (German: Mies) for 105.2 kilometres (65.4 mi) from its source in Germany, next to the Czech border, until its confluence with the 109.7-kilometre (68.2 mi) Radbuza in Plzeň. It then continues with the name of Berounka until it enters the Vltava on the edge of Prague. Originally, the entire stream was called Mže, but in the 17th century the lower course started to be named after the town Beroun, lying upon it. The river is a favourite destination among canoeists, who enjoy the picturesque sceneries around, especially when it flows along the Křivoklátsko Landscape Protected Area where three castle ruins tower over the Berounka river valley.

Modřany (Czech pronunciation: [ˈmodr̝anɪ]) is a suburb of Prague south of the city centre on the banks of the Vltava. It belongs to the municipal district Prague 12. Before being joined with the capital Prague in year 1974, Modřany was de facto a town. The population of the district is 31 738, as of 2006.

Lahovice is a cadastral district of Prague, Czech Republic. In 2015, it had 330 inhabitants. There is a confluence of the Berounka and Vltava rivers in Lahovice. There are two settlements in the cadastral district: Lahovice and Lahovičky.The German name of Lahovice is Lahowitz.

Prague 12 is a municipal district (městská část) in Prague, Czech Republic. It consists of the following cadastral subdivisions: Cholupice, Kamýk, Komořany, Modřany and Točná. The administrative district (správní obvod) of the same name consists of municipal districts Prague 12 and Libuš.

Cholupice (German: Cholupitz) a village in the south of Prague and a cadastral subdivision of Prague 12. There are 18 streets and 165 addresses registered, and a population of around 600. The Outer Ring Road passes just south of the village, and to the south-west there is a recreational airport. The Cholupice Cemetery lies to the east. Cholupice was, at one time, an independent municipality. The village of Točná was joined to Cholupice in 1960. The municipality of Cholupice, including Točná, was amalgamated into the city of Prague in 1974. The local government in Cholupice was dissolved, and both villages were attached to the local government in Modřany, which is now part of Prague 12. Every year on April 30, near Ke Kálku street at the eastern end of the village, Cholupice hosts Prague's largest symbolic witch burning celebration. The village also has several clubs and community associations, including a volunteer fire brigade, a hunt club, an athletic club TJ Sokol Cholupice, a branch of the Czech Husbandry Association Svaz Českých chovatelů, a horse-riding club and a fishing club. On a Saturday in the second half of May, the village hosts a traditional Welcoming of Spring celebration (Czech: vítání jara), including the raising of a maypole, and a parade through the village wearing folk costumes (Czech: kroj).

Open Gate – Grammar and Primary School is a private school, located in the hamlet of Babice outside Prague, comprising both Primary and Grammar schools, the latter offering boarding facilities for the students during their eight year course of study. The campus first saw light in 2005 under the financial support of the foundation named Nadace Educa, which in the year 2011 was amalgamated with The Kellner Family Foundation of Renáta and Petr Kellner. The current Headmaster of the School is Petr Šlemenda with Luděk Michalík as a deputy.

Zbraslav (Czech pronunciation: [ˈzbraslaf]; German: Königsaal; Latin Aula Regia) is a municipal district and cadastral area of Prague. The southernmost district of Prague, it lies on the Vltava River in the national administrative district of Prague 16. The former independent municipality of Zbraslav is now one of two cadastral areas in the Prague-Zbraslav Municipal District. The other is Lahovice.

The Prague-Velká Chuchle Racecourse is a racetrack where canter and harness horse racing is held. It is located on the southern outskirts of Prague, in the administrational district of Velká Chuchle. Races are held there from April to mid-November. The track measures 2180m in length.

Prague British International School (PBIS), previously Prague British School (PBS), is a British international school in Prague, Czech Republic. It is an independent English language, multinational day school, providing British education for children aged between 20 months and 19 years. It has three campuses: the Kamýk and Libuš campuses in Prague 4, and the Vlastina campus in Liboc, Prague 6. In 1996, the school introduced the IGCSE programme. The school, established as the British International School Prague (BISP) in 1992, changed its name to Prague British School in 2006. BISP had 500 registered students at the time. In 2017 it was announced that the school had been purchased by Nord Anglia Education, and from September 2018, the school would be merged with The English International School Prague as the PBIS.

Hodkovičky is a cadastral district of Prague, Czech Republic. In 2011 it had 3708 inhabitants.
