Abbey of Saint-Hubert

Saint-Hubert (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃.t‿y.bɛʁ] ; Walloon: Sint-Houbert) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. On 1 January 2007 the municipality, which covers 111.16 km2 (42.92 sq mi), had 5,737 inhabitants, giving a population density of 51.6 inhabitants per square kilometre. The municipality consists of the following districts: Arville, Awenne, Hatrival, Mirwart, Saint-Hubert, and Vesqueville. Other population centers include: Lorcy and Poix-Saint-Hubert. The town is named in commemoration of Saint Hubert, whose body was moved in 825 to the Benedictine Abbey of Andage, thereafter called Abbey of Saint-Hubert.

Saint-Hubert Airfield (ICAO: EBSH) is a public use airfield located near Saint-Hubert, Belgium, Luxembourg, Wallonia, Belgium. It is the second highest aerodrome in Belgium at 1,847 ft (563 m) above sea level. It has four grass runways, in two parallel pairs, almost perpendicular; several aircraft hangars are rented on the site. It is located in the heart of the Ardennes, in uncontrolled airspace.

Saint-Hubert Air Base (French: Base aérienne de Saint-Hubert, (ICAO: EBSU)) is a military airport located northeast of Saint-Hubert, a municipality in the province of Luxembourg in Wallonia (southern Belgium). The base is southeast of the Saint-Hubert Airport (Aérodrome de Saint-Hubert) (ICAO: EBSH), which is located at 50°02′09″N 005°24′15″E.

Nassogne (French pronunciation: [nasɔɲ]) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. On 1 January 2007 the municipality, which covers 111.96 km2, had 5,045 inhabitants, giving a population density of 45.1 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Ambly, Bande, Forrières, Grune, Harsin, Lesterny, Masbourg (including Mormont), and Nassogne.

The Arrondissement of Neufchâteau (French: Arrondissement de Neufchâteau; Dutch: Arrondissement Neufchâteau) is one of the five administrative arrondissements in the Walloon province of Luxembourg, Belgium. It is both an administrative and a judicial arrondissement. However, the Judicial Arrondissement of Neufchâteau also comprises the municipalities of Bastogne, Bertogne, Fauvillers, Sainte-Ode and Vaux-sur-Sûre in the Arrondissement of Bastogne.

The Battle of Bure was part of the Battle of the Bulge, which lasted from 3 to 5 January 1945 during the final months of the Second World War. The battle was fought as part of the Allied counterattack to force the Germans from ground that they had captured and which had forced the Allies on the defensive. XXX Corps with British 6th Airborne Division attached, was to clear the area east of Dinant, Rochefort, Grupont and Bure in Belgium. Bure was secured after nearly three days of heavy fighting whilst Gupont and Rochefort were both cleared with little resistance and the advance continued.

Libin (French pronunciation: [libɛ̃]) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. On 1 January 2019 the municipality, which covers 140.5 km2, had 5,223 inhabitants, giving a population density of 37.2 inhabitants per km2.The municipality consists of the following districts: Anloy, Libin, Ochamps, Redu, Smuid, Transinne, and Villance. Other population centers include: Glaireuse, Hamaide, Lesse, Libin-Bas, Libin-Haut, and Sèchery. Redu is famous for its bookshops, and for hosting a large European Space Agency ground station. Also in the municipality is the Euro Space Center tourist attraction, close to Transinne. Sèchery is known as a popular location for marriages and company seminars (e.g. Antwerp Management School,...).

Euro Space Center is a science museum and educational tourist attraction located in Wallonia in the village of Transinne, munipality of Libin, Belgium. It is devoted to space science and astronautics. The centre includes simulators of space flight and micro-gravity. It is the home of the only full-scale mock-up of a U.S. Space Shuttle existing in Europe, named Amicitia.

Sainte-Ode (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃t ɔd]; Walloon: Sinte-Oude) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. On 1 January 2007, the municipality, which covers 97.87 km², had 2,305 inhabitants, giving a population density of 23.6 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Amberloup (town centre), Lavacherie, and Tillet. Other population centers include:

The Bell and Carillon Museum (French: Musée de la Cloche et du Carillon; Dutch: Klokken- en Beiaardmuseum) was a museum from 1992 to 2013 in Tellin in the Belgian Ardennes. The museum was established in a bell foundry that was in service between 1830 and 1970. Beside bells and carillons it showed other objects, like weather-vanes that had been on church towers. There was also a documentary film shown on the process of molding. The exploitation of the museum cost the municipality 35,000 euro on a yearly base. As a result it was decided on 28 February 2013 to close the museum at the end of the year. The year after the museum was obtained by the artisan and clock renovator Olivier Baudri that based its atelier there, with the goal to reopen the museum in the future. It has since been reopened and usually is open 3 days a week (Wed, Fri, Sat) for a total of 13 hours. It is closed during Winter (Mid November to March)

Tellin (French pronunciation: [tɛlɛ̃]; Walloon: Telin) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium, in the Ardennes. On 1 January 2007 the municipality, which covers 56.64 km2, had 2,386 inhabitants, giving a population density of 42.1 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Bure, Grupont, Resteigne, and Tellin.

Transinne (Walloon: Transene) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Libin, located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. It is home to the Euro Space Centre. There is also a theme park in the village.
