The Embassy of Cambodia in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United States of America. It is located at 4530 16th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C. in the Crestwood neighborhood.Chum Sounry is the current Cambodian Ambassador to the United States, and was appointed to the role in 2018.

The Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, located on 16th Street, NW, is considered to be the first and oldest black Baptist congregation in Washington, D.C. Since its founding in 1839, the church has figured prominently within the historical and social fabric of Washington, D.C.'s African American community.

Parkmont School is a private school, located at 4842 16th St NW in Washington, DC., that serves grades 6-12. Parkmont was founded in 1972, by a parent group in McLean, Virginia, as a cooperative middle school. Parkmont was designed for parents looking for alternative education for their child. The school uses more of a hands-on, individual, and dynamic approach than more traditional schools. Parkmont is non-sectarian and an Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools accredited school.

The Capital Traction Company Car Barn, at 4615 14th St., NW. in Washington, D.C., was built in 1906. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. Also known as the Decatur Street Car Barn and the Northern Bus Garage, it was built to serve the Capital Traction Company.It is a two-story brick streetcar car barn designed by local architects Wood, Donn & Deming in Italian Renaissance style.It is located at the end of the Fourteenth Street streetcar line. It included two turntables. It was built by construction contractors Richardson and Burgess in 1906 and was then 537 by 208 feet (164 m × 63 m) in plan.It was converted to a bus garage in 1959; the Washington Rapid Transit had leased part of its space for use as a bus garage starting in 1926.

The Iglesia ni Cristo chapel in Washington D.C. in the United States is located along 16th Street. It used to be a place of worship and school of the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. The Iglesia ni Cristo through the Allison James Estates & Homes purchased the chapel building from Summit Commercial which represents the Greek Orthodox church for $9.2 million in November 2012. It was renovated by the Iglesia as a house of worship for its own adherents.The complex composed with two building. The former Orthodox church building has one story and a basement with a land area measuring 14,800 square feet (1,370 m2) is located within a 1.82 hectares (196,000 sq ft; 18,200 m2) parcel of land. The former school building within the complex is three stories high and measures 16,370 square feet (1,521 m2).

Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School is a public charter school in Washington, D.C. on 14th Street in the Sixteenth Street Heights neighborhood. It is overseen by the District of Columbia Public Charter School Board. As a charter school, LAMB is a nonprofit organization, funded by local tax revenue, and subject to some, though not all, of the same standards as traditional schools that are part of the District of Columbia Public Schools. Its admissions are based on a lottery system that takes into account preferences for siblings of current students and children of school faculty and staff.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Washington, D.C. is a church of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. The parish was founded in 1949, while the church building was completed in 1958.

Crestwood is an entirely residential neighborhood located in Northwest Washington, D.C. and bordered on three sides by Rock Creek Park. Heading north from the White House on 16th Street, Crestwood is among the first neighborhoods that features single-family homes with larger lawns. It has many mature trees, and it is not uncommon to see deer and other wildlife from the park crossing the streets there. Crestwood has been known as part of the "Gold Coast", an enclave of neighborhoods in Washington, D.C., known as a haven for affluent African American professionals; Crestwood as the "Gold Coast", is an important part of the African American history of the District of Columbia. At times throughout its history and currently today, Crestwood has experienced demographic changes, including regarding its ethnic and racial compositions, and currently, includes more families of diverse sexual orientations. It is home to families who have lived in the neighborhood for decades, as well as younger families.Just to the north, residents can take advantage of the Carter Barron Amphitheatre and William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center. The amphitheatre once hosted concerts and free cultural events during the spring and summer, and the Citi Open tennis tournament is played at the Tennis Center next door. Crestwood is centrally located on 16th Street, being about fifteen minutes by car from both the K Street business district and downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. The closest Metro stations are Georgia Avenue-Petworth and Columbia Heights on the Green Line and Van Ness-UDC on the Red Line. Buses run regularly on 16th Street to Silver Spring to the north and government offices, downtown stores and the National Mall to the south.

The Carter Barron Amphitheatre is a 4,200-seat outdoor performance venue in Washington, D.C., United States. Located in Rock Creek Park, the amphitheatre opened in 1950, in honor of the 150th anniversary of Washington, D.C. as the United States' capital. The National Park Service has operated Carter Barron, having offered a variety of quality performances, including reggae, Latin, classical, gospel, musicals, pop, R&B, jazz, new age, theater, and dance. Many of the performances have been provided free of charge. The adjacent William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center is part of the Carter Barron recreational facility. The Carter Barron Amphitheatre closed for repairs following a February 2017 inspection. The National Park Service (NPS) found that the stage's substructure was structurally unsound to handle the onstage weight of performers and equipment. If the NPS has the requisite funding, the construction phase of the process has been planned for 2021–2022.

The Embassy of Liberia in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Liberia to the United States. It is located at 5201 16th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C. in the 16th Street Heights neighborhood. The property was initially purchased to be the ambassador's residence, but Ambassador Charles D.B. King later purchased a different residence.
