Thorndike Pond

Monadnock State Park in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, United States, is a 1,017-acre (4.12 km2) state park located on and around 3,165-foot (965 m) Mount Monadnock. The park is surrounded by thousands of acres of protected highlands.The park is open to hiking, picnicking, camping, backpacking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Backcountry skiing is possible on some of the lower trails. There are two campgrounds. A per-person fee is charged (in season) to park at the Old Toll Road and State Park Headquarters trailheads. There are no roads to the summit, and the Old Toll Road, which leads to the Halfway House site, is closed to vehicles. In 1987, Mount Monadnock was designated a National Natural Landmark.

Burpee Farm was a historic farmhouse on Burpee Road in Dublin, New Hampshire, United States. Probably built in 1793, it was a good example of 18th-century vernacular farmhouse architecture, and was one of the town's oldest buildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and was destroyed by fire in 2013.

Eveleth Farm is a historic farmstead on Burpee Road in Dublin, New Hampshire, United States. Built about 1823 and enlarged in 1980, it is a well-preserved example of an early hill farmstead, noted for its association with Henry David Thoreau, who visited the farm during a stay in Dublin in 1852. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Moore Farm and Twitchell Mill Site is a historic property on Page Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. The 6.8-acre (2.8 ha) property includes an early 19th-century farmhouse, as well as the remnants of one of Dublin's earliest industrial sites. It lies just south of a bend in Page Road in southern Dublin, where Stanley Brook runs east-west along the south side of the road. In c. 1768 Samuel Twitchell, Dublin's second settler, built a sawmill that used Stanley Brook as its power source. This mill was the second established in what is now Dublin, after that of Eli Morse. It was used until the mid-19th century, and now only its foundations remain. The farmhouse of Samuel Moore was built in a glen on the south side of the brook c. 1812, and was a vernacular Cape style farmhouse. The farm was purchased in 1935 by William and Katherine Mitchell Jackson, and the house was moved about 100 yards (91 m) to the top of a rise where it has commanding views of Mount Monadnock. The house was restored and enlarged under the guidance of architects Bradley & Church and again renovated in 1951. The farm complex includes a barn that is contemporaneous to the house, and a caretaker's cottage that is a 1952 reconstruction of an earlier one destroyed by fire.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Corey Farm, also known as Maplecote and Interbrook, is a historic farmstead and summer house on Parsons Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. Built about 1816 and enlarged later in the 19th century, it is a picturesque example of the adaptation of an older farm property for use as a summer estate. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Far Horizons is a historic house located on Learned Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. Completed in 1899, it is a distinctive local example of Queen Anne architecture, and was home for a time to physicist Robert Kraichnan. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 15, 1983.

The Parsons Studio and Casino is a historic house on Parsons Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. Built about 1903 as an entertainment space and enlarged several times as a residence and art studio, it is a good example of Shingle style architecture from Dublin's heyday as a summer resort and artists' colony. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The James Gowing Farm, also once known as Staghead Farm, is a historic farmstead on Page Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. It is now the centerpiece of the Dublin Christian Academy campus. The original 1+1⁄2-story Cape style house was built c. 1788 by James Gowing, Jr., not long after moving to the area. This structure is now part of a larger complex of buildings, many of which are Colonial Revival buildings built in the 1930s, when the house was also restored. The farmstead was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.The property has had several interesting owners. James Gowing, Jr.'s son, Almerin, was a local militia leader and town selectman. The property was bought in 1853 by Samuel Hale, who served as Governor of New Hampshire 1882–83. In 1895 it was acquired by Louis Cabot (whose family manufactured Cabot Stain), who made it part of his large gentleman's farm. After deteriorating in the 1920s and 30s, the property was acquired by Mrs. Selina Riker, heir to the Riker Drug fortune in 1937. Mrs. Riker retained the firm of Belknap & Weir to design a Colonial Revival farm complex, of which the restored Gowing farmhouse became a part. Their design was developed as an extension of the Gowing house. The property was bought in 1954 by F. Nelson Blount, the president of the Ocean Spray cooperative. Blount donated the property for the establishment of the Dublin Christian Academy in 1964.

Dublin Christian Academy is a private Christian school located in Dublin, New Hampshire. Founded in 1964, the school serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The Jaffrey Center Historic District encompasses the traditional civic heart of the small town of Jaffrey, New Hampshire. The district lies to the west of the Jaffrey's main business district, extending along Main Street (New Hampshire Route 124) from Harkness Road to the Jaffrey Common, and along Thorndike Pond Road northward from Main Street. It includes the town's oldest civic buildings, and was its main center until the mills of East Jaffrey eclipsed it. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Joseph Gowing Farm is a historic farmhouse on Page Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. Built in 1908 as part of a gentleman's farm, it is a reconstruction of a late-18th century farmhouse, and a good example of Georgian Revival architecture. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Mountain View Farm is a historic farmhouse on Close Road, off Upper Jaffrey Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. Built about 1780 and enlarged in 1903, it encapsulates both Dublin's early residential history, and its early 20th-century period as a summer retreat area. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
