Tveit Church (Norwegian: Tveit kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Kristiansand Municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located on the banks of the Tovdalselva, just outside the village of Ryen in the district of Tveit in the borough of Oddernes in the northeastern part of the city of Kristiansand. It is the church for the Tveit parish which is part of the Kristiansand domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, stone church was built in a long church design around the year 1150 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 350 people. The church is surrounded by a cemetery. The historic structure is protected by law.

Tveit is a village and surrounding district in Oddernes borough in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The Tveit district is located in the northeastern part of Kristiansand, northeast of the Topdalsfjorden along the lower part of the Tovdalselva river. Tveit is the site of the main airport for Southern Norway: Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik. The district was the separate municipality of Tveit from 1838 until it was merged into Kristiansand in 1965. The village of Tveit lies along the Tovdalselva river, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) northeast of the airport. Tveit Church is located in the village. The stone church was built in the 12th century, and it is the oldest building in the village. The 1-square-kilometre (250-acre) village has a population (2016) of 1,418 which gives the village a population density of 1,418 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,670/sq mi).

Brattvollsheia is a neighbourhood in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Oddernes in the district of Tveit. Brattvollsheia is immediately north of Kjevik Airport.

Ve is a village in the district of Tveit in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The small village lies along the Norwegian National Road 41, along the river Tovdalselva. The village lies across the river from Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik.

Tovdalselva (also known as the Tofdalselva, Tovdalsåna, Tovdalsåni, literally: the Tov valley river) is 143 kilometres (89 mi) long and is one of the longest rivers in Southern Norway. The river flows through Agder county from the mountains on the northeast side of the Setesdal valley in Valle municipality southwards, until it reaches the sea at the Tofdalsfjorden between Hamresanden and Kjevik in Kristiansand. The upper reaches of the river include many lakes such as the Herefossfjorden and the Straumsfjorden (the largest lake on the river). It drains about 1,800 square kilometres (690 sq mi) in territory and the highest point in the watershed is 1,101 metres (3,612 ft) above sea level. The drainage basin includes parts or all of the following municipalities: Fyresdal, Valle, Bygland, Evje og Hornnes, Åmli, Froland, Grimstad, Birkenes, Iveland, Lillesand, and Kristiansand.

Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik (Norwegian: Kristiansand lufthavn; IATA: KRS, ICAO: ENCN) is an international airport serving Kristiansand Municipality in Agder county, Norway. The airport is located in the district of Tveit in the Oddernes borough, about 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) by road and 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) by air from the center of town of Kristiansand. Operated by the state-owned Avinor, it is the sole airport in Southern Norway with scheduled flights. It has a 2,035-meter (6,677 ft) runway aligned 03/21 and served 1,061,130 passengers in 2018. Scheduled flights are provided by Scandinavian Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Widerøe, KLM Cityhopper and Wizz Air. The Royal Norwegian Air Force has a training center at the airport. It opened on 1 June 1939, as the joint second airport in the country. During the Second World War it was occupied and expanded by the Luftwaffe. Kristiansand's southerly location caused the airport to receive several international routes during the early years, as well as domestic services. Braathens SAFE served domestic services from 1955 to its demise in 2004. KLM flew until 1971, after which Dan-Air opened routes to the United Kingdom. The terminal received major extensions in 1955, 1979, 1994 and 2015. New control towers were built in 1966 and 2013. It was the base for Sørfly from 1946 to 1962, for Agderfly from 1969 to 2004, and for FlyNonstop in 2013.

Cardamom Town (Norwegian: Kardemomme by) is a theme park located within the Kristiansand Zoo in Kristiansand, Norway, based on the popular Norwegian children's book When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town by Norwegian children’s book author Thorbjørn Egner.The theme park, which opened in 1991, was made to look exactly like it looks in the original illustrations in the book. Thorbjørn Egner got to see the theme park while it was under construction, but did not live long enough to see it completed. The theme park comprises 33 houses, eight of which are rental properties. During the summer actors in the park portray the residents of the fictional town. In addition the visitors of the theme park can see the different main characters in the book: Commissioner Bastian and Aunt Sophie, as well as the three robbers, Kasper, Jesper and Jonathan. The theme park has a working tram made to look like the one in the book and is operated by an actor who portrays the character of tram conductor Syversen. The theme park also has a functioning post office, which uses the postal code "4609 Cardamom Town".

Sørlandssenteret is among the largest shopping centres in Norway and Northern Europe. It lies 12 km east of Kristiansand, close to the popular Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park. Sørlandssenteret was built in 1987. The mall expanded in 1995 and 2013. In 2005 the mall had over 3.6 million visitors. From October 2013, after extensive development, the center now has a surface area of 90,900 m², there are 195 shops and 3,000 parking spaces. It is the Nordic region's fourth largest shopping center.

Lauvåsen is a neighbourhood in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is a part of the borough of Oddernes and it is in the district of Hånes. The neighbourhood lies between European route E18 and Norwegian National Road 41, just east of the neighborhood of Hånni and southeast of the neighborhood of Grovikheia.

The Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park (Norwegian: Kristiansand Dyrepark) is a zoological garden and amusement park situated in of Kristiansand, Norway. It is Norway's most frequently visited attraction, covering an area of 60 hectares (150 acres). Established in 1966, it has been owned by Braganza since 2004. The Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park has Norway's largest collection of animals. It consists of over a hundred species of animals from around the world, that move freely on a relatively large area. Amusement attractions include Cardamom Town (Norwegian: Kardemomme by), which is made to look like the town in the book by Thorbjørn Egner, and Captain Sabertooth and pirate village Abra Havn (Abra Harbor), which is taken from a theatre act by the singer and actor Terje Formoe.

Grovikheia is a neighbourhood in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is a part of the borough of Oddernes and in the district of Hånes. It is located along the Norwegian National Road 41 and it is north of the Hånni neighborhood and northwest of Lauvåsen. The name Grovikheia comes from the cove Grovika. There is a Bible school located at Grovikheia and the closest school is Heståsen skole which is an elementary school. Bus line M2 goes through Vigvoll continuing to Hånes, Voiebyen, and Sørlandsparken.

Sørlandshallen is a sports hall in Kristiansand, Norway. The hall was put into use in 1992. It is located in Sørlandsparken by the E18, east of the city center near Kristiansand Dyrepark, Sørlandets Travpark and Sørlandssenteret. The hall is used by local football teams for indoor football, including IK Start (which has training facilities there during the winter months). The hall is also sometimes used for indoor gocart. Occasionally also occur organized trade fairs, congresses, concerts, banquets and the like. Sørlandshallen has 7500 m² of exhibition space.
