Cops & Doughnuts is a bakery in Clare, Michigan, United States. Opened in 2009 in the former Clare City Bakery, the shop is notable for being owned by members of the city's police department.

Clare is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. Located near the center of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, the city is located mostly in Clare County, while a small portion extends south into Isabella County. The city had a population of 3,254 at the 2020 census. Clare was settled as early as 1870 and contains two listings on the National Register of Historic Places: the Clare Downtown Historic District and the Clare Congregational Church. The city is located along the junction of U.S. Route 10 and U.S. Route 127, and each highway has a business route (Bus. 10 and Bus. US 127) through the downtown area. M-115 also runs through the city. The convergence of these highways as well as the historic junction of the Ann Arbor and Pere Marquette railroads has led to the city being nicknamed the "Crossroads of Michigan". The city is also nicknamed the "Gateway to the North" and the "City of Festivals".

The Clare Congregational Church, also known as the Clare Congregational United Church of Christ, is a church located at 110 West Fifth Street in Clare, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

WCFX is an FM radio station broadcasting at 6,000 watts in Clare, Michigan. The station primarily serves Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the home of Central Michigan University, with a Top 40 (CHR) format as "Today's Best Music, 95-3 CFX." The station has operated with its current calls and format since 1980. What is now WCFX was originally WCRM-FM, co-owned with the now-defunct WCRM/990 (the calls stood for Crossroads of Michigan, referring to the station's being located near the geographic center of the state). It became WRNN-FM on June 6, 1979. Later that year, both AM 990 and 95.3 FM went off the air. In 1980 the silent 95.3 FM was purchased by legendary Detroit broadcaster Paul Christy and returned to the air with Top 40 programming in November of that year as WCFX, originally known as "Foxy 95." Christy obtained the call letter of the station he had previously consulted in Detroit, WABX (now WYCD), and parked the WABX calls on the former WCRM AM 990. During the AM station's hours of operation, it was simulcast with WCFX, and the stations were identified as "WCFX-FM and WABX-AM". WABX ceased operation in 1988, and its license and frequency allocation were forfeited to the FCC. In August 2003, Grenax Broadcasting purchased the property for $2.875 million. Previous to that, the station had been owned by Jackson Radio Works, owners of WKHM (AM), WKHM-FM, and WIBM radio in Jackson, Michigan.

Michigan's 4th congressional district is a United States congressional district located in the state of Michigan. The current 4th district contains much of Michigan's old 6th district, and includes all of Allegan and Van Buren counties, as well as portions of Ottawa, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, and Berrien counties. In 2022, the district was redrawn to start in St. Joseph Township and extend north to Port Sheldon Township. The 4th is currently represented by Republican Bill Huizenga, who previously represented the old 2nd district.

The Isabella Indian Reservation is the primary land base of the federally recognized Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Nation, located in Isabella County in the central part of the U.S. state of Michigan. The tribe also has some small parcels of off-reservation trust land in Standish Township, Arenac County, near Saginaw Bay and southeast of the city of Standish. Tribal lands are held in trust by the federal government on behalf of the nation. The tribe owns and operates the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant and the Saganing Eagles Landing Casino in Standish. The Tribe entered into an agreement with the state to expand its law enforcement jurisdiction to enforce laws on its members. This expanded area is for law enforcement on its members only and not the Mt. Pleasant community as a whole.
