Warren Street Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as Warren Street United Methodist Church, is a historic Methodist church located at 201 South Warren Street in Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri. It was built in 1898–1899, and is a one-story, Late Gothic Revival style orange-tinted brick building. It features a square entrance tower with a concave dome and a gabled cornice. It was erected by a local African-American congregation.: 5, 9 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Warrensburg station is an Amtrak train station serving the city of Warrensburg, Missouri. The current station originally opened in 1890 by the Missouri Pacific Railroad, and is built out of sandstone in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. It has seen several remodels and enlargements the most recent major change being in 1984 when the baggage section and loading platform were added. The station houses the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce visitors center.

Johnson County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri. It was built between 1896 and 1898, and is a 2 1/2-story, Romanesque Revival style sandstone building. It has a cross-gabled building with a square tower rising from a central base. The building features the central tower's octagonal, ogee-shaped dome, plus four corner towers or pavilions with domes and finials. It replaced the Johnson County Courthouse on Old Public Square.: 5 It was designed by George E McDonald, who designed at least three other courthouses listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This one was listed in 1994.

Herbert A. and Bettie E. Cress House is a historic home located at Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri. It was built about 1888, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, Queen Anne / Shingle Style frame dwelling. The first-story walls are of weatherboard (beveled siding), and the second-story walls are of sawn shingles. It sits on a sandstone foundation and features a full-width front porch and second story porch.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Lewis and Sophie Griebel House is a historic home located at Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri. It was built about 1885, and is a one-story, cruciform-shaped, Folk Victorian frame dwelling. It has a steeply-pitched cross-gabled roof and ornate porches with flat roofs fill the spaces between the wings. The house features two types of imbricated shingles, lacy vergeboards with spindles, turned porch supports, serrated brackets, and a three-sided oriel window with elaborated panels. Also on the property are the contributing garage and chicken house.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Masonic Temple is a historic Masonic temple located at Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri. It was built in 1893–1894, and is a rectangular three-story, Italianate style red brick building with extensive sandstone trim. The building measures approximately 48 feet by 92 feet.: 5 It was for many years the meeting hall of Corinthian Lodge # 265 (a local Masonic Lodge), but the lodge has subsequently moved to other premises.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Audrey J. Walton Stadium is a stadium in Warrensburg, Missouri. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the University of Central Missouri. The stadium holds 12,000 people and opened in 1928 originally being called West Campus Field. It is named for Audrey J. Walton (wife of Walmart co-founder James "Bud" Walton) who donated $1 million in 1995 toward the building of a new 5,800 capacity grandstand to replace the original grandstand. The field is named Kennedy Field after Vern Kennedy, who was a baseball pitcher who attended Central. The stadium itself was referred to as Vernon Kennedy Field from 1954 until 1995.The Central Missouri website says the first night college football game in Missouri occurred on October 11, 1929 in which the Mules lost 27-0 to Missouri Valley College.The largest attendance at the stadium was on October 8, 2011, when 14,377 attended a game between Central and Northwest Missouri State University. It was the largest attendance at any MIAA facility. The previous record was another game between Central and Northwest on November 6, 2010 when 13,096 fans watched Northwest kick a last second field goal to defeat the Mules.

Jones Brothers Mule Barn, also known as Cassingham & Son Hardware Store, is a historic mule barn located at Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri. It was built in 1912, and consists of a two-story main block with a monitor roof and one-story rear ell. It is constructed of red brick and sits on a stone foundation. It was built as mule sales barn, and later served as a hardware store.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Grover Street Victorian Historic District is a national historic district located at Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri. The district encompasses nine contributing buildings in an exclusively residential section of Warrensburg. It developed between about 1887 and 1944 and includes representative examples of Queen Anne and Stick style / Eastlake movement style architecture. Notable contributing buildings include the Leonidus W. and Mary B. Jack House (c. 1887), Nick and Mamie Bradley House (c. 1902), Land and Rose Markward House (1903), William and Amanda Lee House (c. 1887), Alex and Nannie McElvain House (c. 1897), Builder Style house (c. 1944), and David and Martha Stewart House (c. 1887).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Warrensburg is a city in and the county seat of Johnson County, Missouri, United States. The population was 20,313 at the 2020 census. The Warrensburg Micropolitan Statistical Area consists of Johnson County. The city is a college town as it is home to the University of Central Missouri.

The Jerry M. Hughes Athletic Center is a 6,500 seat multi-purpose arena in Warrensburg, Missouri, United States, on the campus of the University of Central Missouri. It was built in 1976, and is the home of the Central Missouri Mules and Jennies men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, and indoor track teams. With a listed seating capacity of 6,500 seats, it one of the largest arenas by seating capacity in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. The building was renamed in February 2024 for longtime athletic director Jerry Hughes.
