The Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence (Chinese: 宋庆龄故居), located at 1843 Middle Huaihai Road, Xuhui District, is the former residence of Soong Ching-ling (wife of Sun Yat-sen and later Vice-President and Honorary President of the People's Republic of China) in Shanghai, China, from 1948 to 1963. It is in the west part of the former Shanghai French Concession area and was built in the 1920s by an American shipping captain, Leo R. Ball.It covers a land area of 4,333 square metres (46,640 sq ft), and comprises a white three-story building with front and back yards.

The Wukang Mansion or Wukang Building (Chinese: 武康大楼), formerly known as the Normandie Apartments or International Savings Society Apartments, is a protected historic apartment building in the former French Concession area of Shanghai. It was designed by the Hungarian-Slovak architect László Hudec and completed in 1924. The building has been the residence of many celebrities.

Xujiahui Park is a park in Xuhui District, Shanghai. It was built in 1999, on the former grounds of the Great Chinese Rubber Works Factory and the EMI Recording Studio (now La Villa Rouge restaurant). The park has an artificial lake with a sky bridge running across the park.The layout of the paths, bridges and pond in the park roughly depict the layout of nearby Shanghai streets and the Pu river. In this way, the park is somewhat recursive as the paths at the south-west entrance of the park match the streets near the south-west entrance of the park.

Wukang Road (Chinese: 武康路; pinyin: Wǔkāng Lù; Shanghainese: Wukhån Lu), originally Route Ferguson (福开森路), is a historic road in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, China, located in the western part of the former French Concession area of the city. In 2011 Wukang Road was recognized as one of the National Historic and Cultural Streets of China.

Hengshan Road (Chinese: 衡山路; pinyin: Héngshān Lù), formerly Avenue Pétain, is a street in the former French Concession of Shanghai, China. A major thoroughfare that connected the heart of the French Concession with the Catholic district of Zikawei (Xujiahui), the boulevard was for much of the 20th century the centre of Shanghai's premier residential district. Since the 1990s, many of the mansions along the road have been converted into bars, night clubs, and restaurants. From 2016 onward, many of the bars on Hengshan Road have been closed down or moved away to other new and more popular entertainment districts in the city.

The Former Residence of Ba Jin (Chinese: 巴金故居), located at 113 Wukang Road in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, China, was the residence of the Chinese writer Ba Jin (1904–2005). Located in the west part of the Shanghai French Concession area, it was originally built in 1923 in a Spanish style. Ba Jin lived there from 1955.The residence opened to the public as a writer's home museum in December 2011. The house contains a collection of books, manuscripts, and photographs.Ba Jin's wife, Xiao, died of cancer in 1972 during the time of the Cultural Revolution, having been denied medical treatment. He kept her urn by his bed in the house. In his later years, his granddaughter, Duan Duan, lived with him, sleeping in the same bedroom. He found reading newspapers increasingly difficult, so he listened to the news on the radio in the morning and on television in the lounge each evening.

Shanghai Nanyang Model High School (Chinese: 上海南洋模范中学), often referred to simply as Nanmo (Chinese: 南模), is one of the oldest modern Chinese schools, founded in 1901 by Sheng Xuanhuai, Minister of Transportation of the Qing Dynasty. As "the beginning of public elementary schools", the school started as the Affiliated Elementary School of Nanyang Public School (now Shanghai Jiaotong University). Zhaojiabang Road (Chinese: 肇嘉浜路; pinyin: Zhàojiǎbāng Lù) is an interchange station between lines 7 and 9 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located near the junction of Zhaojiabang Road and Wulumuqi Road in Xuhui District. The station began operation on December 5, 2009.

The Shanghai Library, which also houses the Shanghai Institute of Scientific and Technological Information, is the municipal library of Shanghai, China. It is the second largest library in China after the National Library in Beijing. At 24 stories and 348 feet (106 m) tall, it is the second tallest library in the world, as well as one of the largest. The building has a tower that resembles a lighthouse. The Library is located at 1557 Huaihai Zhong Lu, Xuhui District, Shanghai.

Shanghai Library (simplified Chinese: 上海图书馆; traditional Chinese: 上海圖書館; pinyin: Shànghǎi Túshūguǎn) is a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on April 10, 2010. It is named after the nearby Shanghai Library.

Xujiahui (simplified Chinese: 徐家汇; traditional Chinese: 徐家匯; pinyin: Xújiāhuì) is an interchange station between lines 1, 9 and 11 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located in the Xujiahui area of Xuhui District, Shanghai. The station is one of the busiest in the metro system, and is extremely crowded during peak hours. Six large shopping malls and eight large office towers are each within no more than a three-minute walk of one of the station's exits. The station has a total of 20 exits, more than any other subway station in Shanghai. This station is part of the initial southern section of the line that opened on 28 May 1993; the interchanges with Line 9 and Line 11 opened respectively on 31 December 2009 and 31 August 2013.

Hengshan Road (Chinese: 衡山路; pinyin: Héngshān Lù) is a station on Line 1 of the Shanghai Metro, located along Hengshan Road in Xuhui District. It opened on 10 April 1995 as part of the section between Jinjiang Park and Shanghai Railway Station.
