Rosemont is a neighborhood in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania on the Pennsylvania Main Line. It is located in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County. It is best known as the home of Rosemont College. Rosemont is served by its own stops on both the Paoli/Thorndale Line of SEPTA Regional Rail and the Norristown High Speed Line. The community of Garrett Hill is in Radnor Township and in the Rosemont section.

The American College of Financial Services (The American College) is a private online university focused on professional training for financial practitioners and located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. It offers several professional certifications and master's degrees. Annually, The American College educates approximately 40,000 students, mainly through distance education. The institution was founded as The American College of Life Underwriters in 1927 by Solomon S. Huebner of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Huebner was a professional involved in the development of economic theory. His theory of human life value is used in the field of insurance. It was his vision for a college-level professional education program for insurance agents that led to the creation of The American College.Today the college offers professional training to all types of financial practitioners. When the institution began, programs focused exclusively on providing education to life insurance professionals. The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation was the first credential offered by The College. Today The College provides training for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam, The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, and the Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) master's degree. Twenty full-time faculty members and financial experts work at the campus.The American College campus was bought by the Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in 2007.In May 2019, The American College moved its operational headquarters to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

The American College Arboretum (35 acres) is an arboretum located on the campus of The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, at 270 South Bryn Mawr Avenue. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum began in 1959 when the college started preserving trees, and was formally established as an arboretum in 1994. Today the arboretum contains about 600 labeled trees of many species, as well as a small valley with a pond. It also features the Samuel Weese Conifer Collection and the Margaret Bradshaw Sundial Garden.

Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is a coeducational college-preparatory and religiously pluralistic Jewish day school for grades 6 through 12, located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Founded in Center City, Philadelphia in 1946 as Akiba Hebrew Academy, the school renamed itself in 2007. It is the oldest pluralistic Jewish secondary school in the United States.

Local, Hughes Park Express, and Norristown Express trains stop at Bryn Mawr, and during rush hour, some trains coming from the 69th Street Terminal terminate there. The station lies near Bryn Mawr Hospital. The station lies 5.4 track miles from 69th Street Terminal. The station has off-street parking available.

Local, Hughes Park Express, and Norristown Express trains stop at Garrett Hill. The station lies 6.4 track miles from 69th Street Terminal.

Garrett Hill is an unincorporated community in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania approximately 8 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The geographic area is located in the portion of the Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania ZIP code that comprises Rosemont. Garrett Hill is mainly a residential community, but also includes a small commercial area (near the intersection of Conestoga Road and Garrett Avenue) consisting of a few bars and other small businesses that serve the community and the student population of nearby Villanova University.One of Garrett Hill's traditions is an annual community Fourth of July parade, followed by a free picnic with live music and other entertainment in Clem Macrone Park. The Main Point was a small coffeehouse venue in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, that operated from 1964 to 1981. The venue hosted concerts by some of the top names in folk and traditional music, blues, rock, country music, and other musical genres, as well as comedy and poetry. Founded in 1893, Bryn Mawr Hospital has been named among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals in the Philadelphia region. Bryn Mawr Hospital also received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for quality. Glenays, also known as Leighton House, is a historic home located in Radnor Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The property was purchased by Richard Roger Montgomery and his wife Elisabeth Binney Montgomery in 1859. It is a three-story, stucco over stone Italian Villa style dwelling built in three sections. The first section was built in 1859, with additions built in the late-19th century and 1925. The 1925 addition and garden walls (1928) were designed by architect George Howe (1886–1955).For many years, the estate was the home of Archibald R. Montgomery and later, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Biddle. In 1974, it was used as the "Designers' Show House" by the Philadelphia Vassar Club to benefit their scholarship fund. As of 2017, it was abandoned and in a state of disrepair. As of 2021 the land has been subdivided to build new houses. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
