Bryn Mawr Hospital, part of Main Line Health, is a 264-bed acute care hospital located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1893, Bryn Mawr Hospital has been named among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals in the Philadelphia region. Bryn Mawr Hospital also received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for quality. Bryn Mawr Hospital and its outpatient site at Newtown Square offer a full range of services and programs including a cancer program, orthopaedics, cardiovascular care, behavioral health, pediatrics, bariatric surgery and weight wellness, neurointervention, gender care program, plastic and reconstructive surgery, general surgery, breast cancer program, obstetrics and maternity, including and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. It offers several professional certifications and master's degrees. Annually, The American College educates approximately 40,000 students, mainly through distance education. The institution was founded as The American College of Life Underwriters in 1927 by Solomon S. Huebner of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Huebner was a professional involved in the development of economic theory. His theory of human life value is used in the field of insurance. It was his vision for a college-level professional education program for insurance agents that led to the creation of The American College.Today the college offers professional training to all types of financial practitioners. When the institution began, programs focused exclusively on providing education to life insurance professionals. The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation was the first credential offered by The College. Today The College provides training for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam, The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, and the Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) master's degree. Twenty full-time faculty members and financial experts work at the campus.The American College campus was bought by the Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in 2007.In May 2019, The American College moved its operational headquarters to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Founded in Center City, Philadelphia in 1946 as Akiba Hebrew Academy, the school renamed itself in 2007. It is the oldest pluralistic Jewish secondary school in the United States.

The Main Point was a small coffeehouse venue in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, that operated from 1964 to 1981. The venue hosted concerts by some of the top names in folk and traditional music, blues, rock, country music, and other musical genres, as well as comedy and poetry. The club, located on Lancaster Avenue, was known for its small intimate atmosphere and low ticket prices. Some of the comedians who appeared at the coffeehouse were George Carlin, Lily Tomlin, David Brenner, Cheech and Chong, Jay Leno, and Franken & Davis (Al Franken, and Tom Davis).

The American College Arboretum (35 acres) is an arboretum located on the campus of The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, at 270 South Bryn Mawr Avenue. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum began in 1959 when the college started preserving trees, and was formally established as an arboretum in 1994. Today the arboretum contains about 600 labeled trees of many species, as well as a small valley with a pond. It also features the Samuel Weese Conifer Collection and the Margaret Bradshaw Sundial Garden.

Bryn Mawr Film Institute is a non-profit, community-supported movie theater located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, a town on Philadelphia's Main Line. It re-opened in March 2005, with Ben Kingsley present, and currently has over 9,100 supporting members. BMFI shows a wide range of films, including foreign, independent and art house films. Film education is an integral part of the theater's mission; BMFI works with area schools and also offers film studies courses for adults. BMFI also offers film discussions and open screen Mondays featuring films from area filmmakers, and also offers community partnerships that provide benefits to participating organizations.

Seville Theatre, also known as the Bryn Mawr Theatre, is a historic theatre building located at Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1926, and is a two-story, three bay wide, rectangular steel frame building in the Beaux-Arts style. It measures 56 feet wide and 265 feet deep. It was designed by noted theatre architect William Harold Lee (1884-1971).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Bryn Mawr (pronounced brin-MAR; from Welsh for "big hill") is a census-designated place (CDP), located across three townships: Radnor Township and Haverford Township, Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia along Lancaster Avenue (US-30). They became home to sprawling country estates belonging to Philadelphia's wealthiest families, and over the decades became a bastion of "old money". As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 3,779. Bryn Mawr is home to Bryn Mawr College.

It serves the Norristown High Speed Line (Route 100) and is located at Roberts Road and David Drive in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania. Local, Hughes Park Express, and Norristown Express trains stop at Roberts Road. The station lies 5.9 track miles from 69th Street Terminal. The station was officially renamed from Rosemont to Roberts Road by SEPTA on September 5, 2010.

Rosemont is a neighborhood in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania on the Pennsylvania Main Line. It is located in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County. It is best known as the home of Rosemont College. Rosemont is served by its own stops on both the Paoli/Thorndale Line of SEPTA Regional Rail and the Norristown High Speed Line. The community of Garrett Hill is in Radnor Township and in the Rosemont section.
