The ruins of Dudelange Castle (Luxembourgish: Buerg um Gehaansbierg; French: Château de Dudelange) are located on Mont St Jean, a forested hill to the west of Dudelange in the south of Luxembourg. The castle was completed in the early 16th century but was destroyed in 1552.

Budersberg (Luxembourgish: Butschebuerg) is a small town in the commune of Dudelange, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 350.

Tétange (Luxembourgish: Téiteng, German: Tetingen) is a town in the commune of Kayl, in south-western Luxembourg. As of 2001, the town has a population of 2,813. Schlager singer Camillo Felgen and Olympic cyclist Roger Thull were born here.

Kayl (Luxembourgish: Keel [ˈkeːl] or (locally) Käl [ˈkɛːl]) is a commune and town in south-western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette. As of 2001, the town of Kayl, which lies in the centre of the commune, has a population of 4,237. Other towns within the commune include Tétange. The first surviving written reference to 'Keyle' dates from 1235. Since the thirteenth century the name of the town has not changed significantly, although more than twenty different spellings have been identified.The town is the location of the Montenegro honorary consulate in Luxembourg.

In 1794 the French Revolutionary Army committed atrocities against the local population in Dudelange, when they massacred 79 civilians.Dudelange is an important industrial town that grew out of the three villages and a steel mill in 1900. The D in the name of the ARBED steel company, later merged into ArcelorMittal, stood for Dudelange. As well as the Dudelange Radio Tower, an FM radio and television transmitter, it is also the site of the Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA), a cultural institute founded in 1989 under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture in order to preserve, promote and exhibit Luxembourg's audiovisual and photographic heritage. The centre hosts a two-screen cinema, a restaurant and a library focused on the visual arts On the 14 February 2017 the Dudelange train collision happened here.

Huncherange (Luxembourgish: Hëncheréng, German: Hüncheringen) is a small town in the commune of Bettembourg, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 591. There is a watermill there, formerly the site of an old castle. According to a story recorded in the nineteenth century, the place is haunted by two women in white. The church is built 1903.
