Springfield Warehouse and Industrial Historic District is a national historic district located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. It encompasses 16 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in a commercial / industrial section of Springfield. Developed between about 1891 and 1948, the district also includes representative examples of Italianate and Romanesque Revival style architecture. Notable buildings include the Springfield Ice and Refrigerator Company (1914, 1927), Armour Creamery Boiler House (c. 1900), Andrew Rebori Company (c. 1900), Crighton Provision Company (c. 1900), and Armour Creamery Cold Storage Warehouse (c. 1910).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Walnut Street Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings in a commercial section of Springfield. The district developed between about 1895 and 1949, and includes representative examples of Italianate and Colonial Revival style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Landers Theater. Other notable buildings include the Masonic Temple (1906).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Landers Theatre in Springfield, Missouri, built in 1909, is the second oldest and largest civic theater operation in Missouri. It has been in continuous use either as a legitimate theatre or a movie theater since it opened. In 1928, the theater became the 35th facility in the world to acquire sound film. It was designed by architects Carl Boller and Brother in association with Hickenlively and Mark of Springfield in a French-influenced neoclassical style. It is located in the Walnut Street Commercial Historic District. The theater is unusual in its use of wood for nearly all structural framing, in contrast with the steel and cast iron more usually employed in its time. D.J. Landers, the original owner, was in the lumber business, providing a possible explanation. Where steel is employed, it uses unusual bonded steel and masonry assemblies. The theater was designed for live performance, with a large stage and supporting spaces.The theater's street facade employs Missouri limestone piers with terra cotta cornices, cartouches, quoins and parapets. Infill between these decorative elements is brick.A fire in 1920 completely gutted the stage area, but the remainder was saved by the fireproof asbestos curtain. Subsequent renovations moved the orchestra pit behind the curtain and raised the boxes. Heavy clear-span beams replaced columns supporting the balconies, and the Jim Crow-era ticket booth for "coloreds" and its separate entrance were removed.From March 17–September 22, 1961, NBC-TV carried a live country music variety program from the theater, Five Star Jubilee, on Friday nights; the first network color television series to originate outside of New York City or Hollywood. First-run films continued to be shown on the other six nights of the week.Landers was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, significant for the preserved Baroque Renaissance, Napoleon architectural style. A number of major restoration projects have been undertaken, and the most recent restorations have been cited with awards from the American Institute of Architects. It is currently the home of the Springfield Little Theatre.

Wise Feed Company Building, also known as the Motor Mart Garage Building, is a historic commercial building located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built about 1930, and is a two-story, rectangular tan brick commercial building. It has a flat roof and rests on a concrete foundation. It features decorative brickwork on the front facade.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

E. M. Wilhoit Building is a historic commercial building located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built about 1926, and is a two-story, tan brick and concrete commercial building. It has a flat roof and stepped parapet with terra cotta coping. It features Colonial Revival-style influences. It was built by Edward M. Wilhoit, who also built the Edward M. and Della C. Wilhoit House.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Marquette Hotel, also known as the Springfield Business College and Hotel State, is a historic hotel building located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. Built about 1906, it is a three-story, brick commercial building. It has a recessed entrance. It originally housed a business college, then converted to a hotel in 1918. It continued as a hotel until the mid-1980s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

St. Paul Block, also known as the Hermann-Brownlow Building and Hermann-Sanford Building, is a historic commercial building located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1905, and is a three-story, brick commercial building with a flat roof and open storefronts.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

St. Agnes Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral in Springfield, Missouri, United States. Along with the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Annunciation in Cape Girardeau, Missouri it is the seat of the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau.

Keet-McElhany House is a historic home located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1881, and enlarged in 1886, and remodeled in 1900. It is a two-story, brick dwelling with a frame attic and reflects Italianate and Queen Anne style design elements. It features a multi-hipped and gable roof, porch with a projecting gable, and round corner tower.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Holland Building, also known as the Mrs. Clifford L. Jarrett Building, is a historic commercial building located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. Built in 1914, it is a five-story, rectangular commercial building sheathed in marble, blond brick, and cream-colored glazed terra cotta. It features a heavy bracketed cornice of glazed terra cotta.: 5–6  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

McDaniel Building is a historic commercial building located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1961, and is houses six-story with a Mid-Century Modern style of building, containing a two-story main section, two-bay section and a tall one-story rear section. It has buff brick walls, a curtain wall façade, and a flat roof.: 6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Hotel Sansone, also known as the Hotel Springfield and Hotel Sterling, is a historic hotel building located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. Built in 1911, it is a four-story American Craftsman style brick building. It measures 44 feet wide by 110 feet deep. It features a stepped parapet, beneath which is set a shallow overhanging hip roof sheathed with green Spanish tiles, and supported by heavy carved wooden brackets.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
