Shepard Energy Centre

Shepard is a former hamlet within the eastern periphery of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) east of downtown, that was annexed from Rocky View County in July 2007. Shepard is bound by 84 Street SE to the west, a rail line to the north, and 114 Avenue SE (also known as Beulah Vista Road) to the south. The Stoney Trail ring road passes to the west of the former hamlet. Shepard is immediately north of Ralph Klein Park, a large green space that was developed in the late 2000s.

Ralph Klein Park is a 30 hectares (74 acres) wetland park in the City of Calgary, Alberta. It is named after former premier of Alberta and mayor of Calgary Ralph Klein. Construction started in 2009, and the dedication ceremony was on July 19, 2010. The park was opened to the public on June 18, 2011. The park features public art by Beverly Pepper.The address of the park is 12350 - 84 Street SE, adjacent to the former hamlet of Shepard. Its operating hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Ralph Klein Park is open on statutory holidays.At one time the park's name was slated to be Shepard Wetlands Legacy Park.

Janet is a hamlet in southern Alberta under the jurisdiction of Rocky View County. It is located on Township Road 240, approximately 13 km (8.1 mi) east of downtown Calgary, 5.9 km (3.7 mi) southwest of the Town of Chestermere, and 3.2 km (2.0 mi) south of Highway 1A. Janet is primarily an industrial area that is home to some transportation and logistics companies.

CFAC also stands for Commander Fleet Activities ChinhaeCFAC (960 AM) is a radio station serving Calgary, Alberta. Owned by Rogers Radio, a division of Rogers Sports & Media, the station broadcasts a sports format branded as Sportsnet 960 The Fan, co-branded with the Sportsnet television channel also owned by Rogers. Its studios are located on 7th Avenue Southwest in downtown Calgary, in the same building as Rogers' other Calgary stations, CFFR, CHFM-FM and CJAQ-FM. CFAC broadcasts with a power of 50,000 watts 24 hours a day on the regional frequency of 960 AM. The daytime signal is non-directional, and the nighttime signal is directional using a three-tower array located on Rainbow Road just east of the Calgary city limits.

Race City Motorsport Park, also known as Race City, was a multi-track auto racing facility located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The facility featured a ¼ mile dragstrip, a 3.2 km (2.0 mi) 11-turn road course, and a ½ mile paved short oval. The Race City grounds, known as Race City Speedway, was a regular host of Warped Tour.Race City was due to close around October 9, 2009. However, on September 28, 2009, Calgary city council voted in favour of extending the lease on Race City until 2015. This decision was later overturned, and the track officially closed on October 21, 2011.

Hotchkiss is a suburban residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by Marquis of Lorne Trail SE (Highway 22X to the south, Stoney Trail to the west, and 146 Avenue SE to the north. Hotchkiss is located within Calgary City Council's Ward 12. The name of the community was adopted by Calgary City Council on May 6, 2013. The neighbourhood is named for late Harley Hotchkiss, a businessman, community leader and former owner of the Calgary Flames.Hotchkiss is being developed by Hopewell Residential Communities of Calgary.

CKUV-FM is a Canadian radio station being licensed to Okotoks, Alberta, serving the Foothills region broadcasting at 100.9 FM. The station currently broadcasts a hot adult contemporary format branded as The Eagle 100.9. The station first began broadcasting in 2003. The station is currently owned by Golden West Broadcasting. The station held the call sign CFXL-FM until June 2008, when it adopted its current call sign. The former CIQX-FM in Calgary took over the "CFXL-FM" call sign a few days later. The Eagle also operates a local news portal called Okotoks Online and provides local news and coverage for Okotoks and surrounding area.

Belvedere is a residential neighborhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is east of applewood park and north of 17th ave.

Big Rock Brewery is a Canadian public company and the largest brewery that is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Additional brewing operations are located in Vancouver, British Columbia; Etobicoke, Ontario; and Liberty Village in Toronto, Ontario. Big Rock distributes a variety of beers and ciders throughout Canada.

The Calgary Soccer Centre (formerly called the Subway Soccer Centre) is an indoor soccer facility located in Calgary, Alberta. The soccer centre is owned and operated by the City of Calgary. The centre is a prime venue for many minor soccer teams in Calgary.

Mahogany is a suburban residential neighbourhood in Calgary, Alberta that was approved by its city council for development beginning in 2007. The community is bordered by 52 St SE to the west, along with the community of Auburn Bay, Stoney Trail to the north, the proposed East Freeway to the east, and an eastern extension of Seton Boulevard (dubbed 196 Avenue SE) to the south. Mahogany is being developed by Hopewell Residential Communities of Calgary. The chosen builders within Mahogany include: Jayman, Sabal, Stepper Homes and Trico Homes. Calbridge, Baywest and Morrison Homes started building in Mahogany at the end of 2010. The Mahogany Sales Centre and Show Home Parade officially opened on Saturday September 13, 2008. The area is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 12 councillor. According to page 22 of the city's Mahogany Community Plan, efforts are to be made to preserve a historic ranch located within the future community. A core commercial hub will be built along 52 Street on the west side, and a future southeast line of the city's C-Train system is expected to run parallel to 52 Street, also servicing Mahogany. The community is to the northeast of Seton, a commercial-residential-service hub that includes the city's new South Health Campus.

Copperfield is a neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. The neighbourhood is bounded by 52nd St. to the west, Stoney Trail to the south, and the neighbourhood of New Brighton to the north. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 12 councillor. Copperfield had a population of 7,162 in 2011.
