Clevinger Branch is a stream in southwestern Taney County in the U.S. state of Missouri. The stream is a tributary of the Long Creek branch of Table Rock Lake. The Stream headwaters arise just northeast of the route 65/86 junction northwest of Ridgedale at 36°31′57″N 93°15′14″W and the former confluence with Long Creek is at 36°33′29″N 93°17′35″W. The stream enters Table Rock Lake along a shoreline road in the Long Creek Recreation Area at 36°32′39″N 93°15′42″W. Clevinger Branch has the name of Judge Clevinger, a pioneer citizen.

Table Rock Lake is an artificial lake or reservoir in the Ozarks of southwestern Missouri and northwestern Arkansas in the United States. Designed, built and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the lake is impounded by Table Rock Dam (located 36.595374°N 93.311137°W / 36.595374; -93.311137), which was constructed from 1954 to 1958 on the White River.The lake is a popular attraction for the city of Branson, Missouri, and the nearby town of Shell Knob, Missouri. There are several commercial marinas along the lake, and Table Rock State Park is located on the east side, both north and south of Table Rock Dam. Downstream from the dam, the Missouri Department of Conservation operates a fish hatchery, which is used to stock trout in Lake Taneycomo, which begins immediately downstream from the Table Rock Dam. The cold water discharged from the dam creates a trout fishing environment in the lake. The lake derives its name from a rock formation resembling a table at the small community of Table Rock, Missouri, on Highway 165 about a mile and a half downstream from where the dam was built.

Oliver Township is an active township in Taney County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.Oliver Township is named for the local Oliver family.The Ralph Foster Museum is within the township boundaries.

Baird Mountain is a summit in Taney County in southern Missouri. The peak has an elevation of 1,234 feet (376 m) The peak lies just southeast of the Table Rock Lake dam above Missouri Route 265. Table Rock State Park lies just to the west. Baird Mountain is where the United States Army Corps of Engineers quarried the rock to make all the concrete for Table Rock Dam. The rock was transported off Baird Mountain with a one-mile-long conveyor belt to the site of the dam. Baird Mountain has the name of one Mr. Baird, a pioneer prospector.

Table Rock State Park is a public recreation area in the U.S. state of Missouri consisting of 356 acres (144 ha) located in Taney County and Stone County on Table Rock Lake along the southern side of the city of Branson. The state park's facilities include a marina, campgrounds, and trails for hiking and bicycling.

Showboat Branson Belle is a riverboat—more specifically, a showboat—on Table Rock Lake near Branson, Missouri. The lake is landlocked by the Table Rock Dam on one side and the Beaver Lake Dam on the other side. Being a showboat, it hosts lunch and dinner shows throughout the year.

On the evening of July 19, 2018, a duck boat operated by Ride the Ducks sank on Table Rock Lake in the Ozarks near Branson, Missouri, in the United States. The amphibious vehicle sank with 31 people on board, leaving 17 dead, during high winds associated with nearby severe thunderstorms as part of a significant derecho and tornado outbreak.

Table Rock was a village in Taney County, Missouri, United States. The population was 229 at the 2000 census. It was part of the Branson, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area. It was located just east of the Table Rock Lake dam on the White River. It was approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest from Downtown Branson. It was annexed by Branson in 2004.

Fall Creek is a small creek with headwaters in Stone County just south of Missouri Route 76 and northeast of Silver Dollar City. The stream enters Taney County and flows southeast between Route 76 and Missouri Route 265 through west Branson and joins the White River downstream of the Table Rock Lake dam in south Branson. It flows parallel to and then under Missouri Route 165. The White River enters Lake Taneycomo downstream.In 1998, raw sewage from a broken sewer killed over 4000 fish in the creek. This was said to be "the largest recorded fish kill" in the White River watershed.

Branson Cross is a large structure in the shape of a cross located in Walnut Shade, Missouri near Branson, Missouri. At 218 feet (66.45m) tall, it is claimed to be the largest cross in North America. The cross is among the ten largest such structures in the world. The Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce held a ceremony in April, 2019 to declare the monument open to the public.

Flag is an extinct community in Taney County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It was on the west side of the county, near the Stone County line, a bit north of the present day location of the Table Rock Dam.A post office called Flag was established in 1900, and remained in operation until 1927. Flag once contained a schoolhouse, which is now defunct. Some say the community was named after the American flag, while others believe it was named for a flag station near the original town site.

Melva is an extinct town in southern Taney County, in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. The site was located south of Hollister on the east bank of Turkey Creek along the Missouri Pacific Railroad. On March 11, 1920, the town was destroyed by a deadly tornado that killed 11 people, including 9 children. Some of the remains of Melva, mostly foundations of homes, remain on the site today. A post office called Melva was established in 1906, and remained in operation until 1931. A railroad official gave the community the name of his daughter.Gale Wade (1929-2022), baseball player, was born in Melva.
