Out and Plunder Woods

Ten Wood is a 17.7-hectare (44-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Burrough Green in Cambridgeshire.This ancient wood is of the ash/maple type, which has a high conservation value as it has a restricted and declining distribution. Other trees include hazel and pedunculate oak. There is also a population of the rare oxlip.The site is private land with no public access.

Carlton Wood is a 10.4 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the eastern boundary of Cambridgeshire, and west of Great Bradley in Suffolk.According to Natural England, this wood has one of the finest stands of hornbeam in the county. Other trees are ash, field maple, hazel and pedunculate oak. There is a variety of flora typical of ancient woodlands such as oxlips and early-purple orchids.The wood is private land with no public access.

Great Bradley is a village and civil parish in the West Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England. According to Eilert Ekwall the meaning of the village name is the "wide clearing". The population is about 400 and includes Little Bradley. There is evidence that people have lived in and around Great Bradley by the River Stour since the middle stone age over 5,000 years ago. John Killingworth (d.1617) of Little Bradley (later of Pampisford, etc.) obtained a grant (or confirmation) of Arms on 25 November 1586. When his father Richard died in October 1586 he requested in his Will that "My body is to be buried in the parish church of Great Bradley. 10 shillings to the said church."

The chief crops are wheat, barley and roots. The area of the parish is 2,272 acres (919 ha); the population in 1921 was 334." It is described in Kelly's Directory (1929) as a "village and parish 2½ miles south-east from Dullingham station on the Cambridge and Bury branch of the London and North Eastern Railway and 6 south from Newmarket, in the hundred of Radfield, Newmarket union, petty sessional division and county court district, rural deanery of Cheveley, archdeaconry and diocese of Ely."

Park Wood is an 8.1 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Brinkley in Cambridgeshire.This is woodland of the wet ash/maple type, a scarce and declining habitat. Ground flora include bluebell, dog’s mercury and oxlip, and there are indicators of ancient woodland such as herb-paris and butterfly-orchid.The site is private land with no public access.

Castle Newnham School is a mixed all-through school located over two sites in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.The school was formed in January 2016 from the merger of Castle Lower School on Goldington Road and Newnham Middle School on Polhill Avenue. The new school has also expanded its age range up to 16. In addition, Hazeldene Lower School on Stancliffe Road has formed a soft federation with Castle Newnham School, with graduating pupils from Hazeldene Lower School expected to attend Castle Newnham School. It used to be Newnham Middle School which was made in the 1960s.

Woodditton is a village and civil parish in East Cambridgeshire, England. The other settlements in the parish are Ditton Green, Little Ditton and Saxon Street. In 2011, the population was recorded as 1,818.Woodditton lies at the southeastern end of the Devil's Dyke, a defensive earthwork thought to be of Anglo-Saxon origin. Little Bradley is a small village and civil parish in the West Suffolk district, in the county of Suffolk, England. According to Eilert Ekwall the meaning of the village name is the wide clearing. The Domesday Book records the population of Little Bradley in 1086 (including Great Bradley) to be 57. It lies in the valley of the River Stour, north of Haverhill. The population at the 2011 Census was included in the civil parish of Great Bradley The 11th century Church of All Saints is one of 38 existing round-tower churches in Suffolk. It is a grade I listed building.

Stetchworth is a small village and civil parish in East Cambridgeshire, England, 3 miles (5 km) to the south of the horse-racing centre of Newmarket and around 12 miles (19 km) east of Cambridge.

Brinkley is a small village in Cambridgeshire, England. It is situated about 15 miles east of Cambridge and 5 miles south of Newmarket, the horse racing centre. It features a pub, The Brinkley Lion, but its post office closed down in the 1990s. Children go to school in the neighbouring village, Burrough Green. The local church is St Mary's Church. Most of it dates from around 1600 but some parts of it are older. It has a beautiful east window (the tower is at the west end) which is thought to date from around 1300 so it is likely there was probably a building here much earlier. The rectors of Brinkley are recorded all the way back to 1260. There have been around 50 since then. From time to time the residents invite everyone with the surname Brinkley to come to the village fete, which is held in July each year in the grounds of Brinkley Hall, next to the church. The last time this happened was in July 2000 when 250 Brinkleys from all over the world turned out.
