Sundby Idrætspark is a sports complex, that consists of a combined association football and athletics stadium, located in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. It has been the home ground of the association football clubs BK Fremad Amager and B 1908 since its auguration in September 1922, and have previously hosted BK Standard (1923–1946) and the professional superstructure FC Amager (2008–2009). As of May 2019, the total capacity of approximately 7,200 spectators, with 2,500 seatings at the main grand stand stretching along one side of the pitch, makes the exhibition field among the 25th largest football stadiums in Denmark. The track of the exhibition venue has consisted of artificial turf since August 2018, where it replaced natural grass. In 2018, floodlights of 1,000 lux were installed at the exhibition field, so it was possible to show televised matches from the Danish Superliga.The stadium hosted the preliminary rounds of the 2015 World Archery Championships.

Boldklubben Fremad Amager (meaning in English: The Ball Club Forward Amager ; abbreviated Fremad A) is a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. As of the 2020–21 season, the club's senior men's team play in 1st Division, the second-tier of professional football in the country. The club consists of an amateur department and a professional section, that is wholly owned by Fremad Amager Elite ApS – a private limited company created on 2 December 2013, initially with 80/20% ownership split between the new investors and the remaining 20% by the members – and small portion by the club's amateur department. The club have primarily played their home games at Sundby Idrætspark since the stadium's inauguration in 1922. Fremad Amager's last spell in the highest football league in Denmark was in the autumn of 1994. Ever since the first participation in the first nationwide league tournament in 1927, and subsequent promotion in 1929, the club has spent the majority of its history – with the exception of two seasons – in the different divisional structures (known as "Danmarksturneringen i fodbold"). The club reached the Danish Cup final in 1971–72 season while playing at the second highest league level, but lost against Vejle BK, who had also won the Danish championship in 1971. As a result, BK Fremad Amager participated in the 1972–73 European Cup Winners' Cup, but did not advance beyond the first round.The club was co-founder of the representative team Fodbold-Alliancen in 1940 and remained a member until 1949, when they switched to the competing representative team Stævnet and stayed with the football combination for a total of 25 years (1949–1954 and 1959–1979) until it ceased to exist in 1979. On 1 July 2008, the club participated in the formation of the superstructure FC Amager together with neighbouring clubs Dragør BK, Kastrup BK and Kløvermarken FB. The merger was short-lived. After only 8-month of existence, the merger club went bankrupt on 30 March 2009 at the start of second half of the 2008–09 season, with Fremad Amager hence experiencing a third bankruptcy in its history – the highest number of bankruptcies by any Danish football club; the first being on 22 November 1984 and the second on 13 November 1990. The league licence, that the merger team was playing under, was returned to Fremad Amager, who was relegated to the lower ranking regional football league, Copenhagen Series, shortly before the club's 100 years anniversary. Being described as a working class team, the Sundbyvester-based club enjoy long-standing rivalries against neighbouring clubs BK Frem, Kastrup BK and B 1908.

Amagerbrogade is the main shopping street and thoroughfare of the part of Copenhagen, Denmark that is located on the island of Amager . It begins at the end of the causeway which connects Amager to Christianshavn and the city centre on the other side of the harbour, and runs south until it reaches the municipal border with Tårnby where it continues as Amager Landevej. The street marks the border between Amager Vest and Amager Øst, two of the ten official districts of Copenhagen. Amagerbrogade arose when the country road leading in and out of Copenhagen's Amager Gate was urbanized towards the end of the 18th century after the city's old fortifications had been decommissioned and the no-built zone outside them released. It is one of four such -bro streets.

St. Elizabeth's Hospital (Danish: Sankt Elisabeths Hospital) was a Catholic hospital on Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark, which existed from 1905 until 1997 when it was merged with Sundby Hospital to form Amager Hospital. Its old main building on Hans Bogbinders Allé, opposite the Catholic St. Anne's Church, is no longer used for hospital purposes.

St. Anne's Church (Danish: Sankt Annæ Kirke) is a Roman-Catholic church in Sundby on Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located just off Amagerbrogade, next to Eberts Villaby. The church is closely affiliated with the nearby St. Ann's School.

Eberts Villaby (literally "Ebert's Villa Town") is an enclave of late 19th-century detached houses situated just off Amagerbrogade in the otherwise more dense Sundby district on Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Solvang Church (Solvang Kirke) is a church in the Amager district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built between 1975 and 1976 on designs of architect Holger Jensen. It consists of a complex of box-shaped buildings, which also includes a parish hall and a confirmation halls. The church was renovated externally between 1998 and 1999, and inside between 2003 and 2005.

The Royal School of Library and Information Science (abbr. RSLIS, Danish: Det Informationsvidenskabelige Akademi) is a school under the University of Copenhagen that provides higher education in the field of library and information science. It has now merged with another department to Department of Communication. It is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a member of iSchools, a consortium directed to understanding the role of information in nature and human culture. There has also been a location in Aalborg, however this campus was shut down in the summer of 2017.

Sundbyvester (Danish pronunciation: [sɔnpyˈvestɐ]) is one of the 15 administrative, statistical, and tax city districts (bydele) comprising the municipality of Copenhagen, Denmark. It lies on the south border of the municipality on the island of Amager. It covers an area of 5.21 km², has a population of 38,017 and a population density of 7,302 per km². Neighboring city districts are as follows: to the northeast is Sundbyøster to the north is Christianshavn, separated from Syndbyvester by Stadsgraven (the city moat) to the west is Vestamager to the south is Tårnby municipality, which is outside of the Copenhagen municipality area

Sundby is a neighbourhood on Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is often also referred to as Sundbyerne (plural form) since a distinction is traditionally made between Sundbyvester (Sundby West) and Sundbyøster (Sundby East), located on each their side of Amagerbrogade.

Sundby Church (Danish: Sundby Kirke) is a Church of Denmark parish church located on Amagerbrogade in Copenhagen, Denmark. Completed in 1870 to designs by Hans Jørgen Holm, it is the oldest church on the northern part of Amager.

It lies on the southeast border of the municipality on the island of Amager. It covers an area of 8.60 km2, has a population of 48,673 and a population density of 5,658 per km2, which makes it the most populated district in Copenhagen. Neighboring city districts are as follows: to the northwest is Christianshavn, separated from Syndbyøster by Stadsgraven (the city moat) to the west is Sundbyvester to the south is Tårnby municipality, which is outside the Copenhagen municipality area to the east is the Øresund, the strait which separates the island of Zealand from Sweden
