Campion Academy

Campion is an unincorporated community located in southeastern Larimer County, Colorado, United States. A former census-designated place (CDP), the population was 1,832 at the United States Census 2000.

The Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District — more commonly referred to as Northern Water — is a water utility for eight counties in northeastern Colorado. Northern Water works with the Colorado-Big Thompson Project to transfer water from the Colorado Western Slope over the Continental Divide for agricultural, industrial, and municipal water supply in northeastern Colorado. The District's offices are in Berthoud, Colorado.

The Thompson R2-J School District is located in Loveland, Colorado and covers territory in Loveland, Berthoud, a southern section of Fort Collins and portions of Windsor, Johnstown and unincorporated parts of Larimer, Weld and Boulder counties. Thompson Valley High School (TVHS) is located at 1669 Eagle Drive in Loveland, Colorado. Its mascot is the golden eagle. It is one of five high schools in the Thompson R2-J School District, along with Loveland High School, Mountain View High School, Harold Ferguson High School, and Berthoud High School.

The Bimson Blacksmith Shop was constructed in 1893 by Alfred G. Bimson as the first blacksmith shop in Berthoud, Colorado, USA. He designed and built the building out of native Lyons sandstone. The shop remained open until 1943. The building is currently being used by the Berthoud Historical Society to house the Little Thompson Valley Pioneer Museum.

Berthoud High School is a secondary school in Berthoud, Colorado, United States. In 2014 the school was ranked 30th in the state, 1,271st in the nation, and had an AP participation rate of 42%, according to U.S. News & World Report. For the 2014–2015 school year the student body makeup was 52% male and 49% female, and the total minority enrollment was 33 percent. Berthoud High School is 1 of 5 high schools in the Thompson School District R-2J and has the highest 4-year graduation rate in the district, with 91%.The sports and extracurricular teams have a high success rate. In 2007 the football team won the state championship, and several of the members of the forensics team have gone to compete in the National Forensics League almost every year. Their Vex robotics teams, whilst not being directly part of the school, consistently rank high in the state, and have gone to the world competition several times.

The Rialto Theater in Loveland, Colorado, at 228-230 E. Fourth Ave., was built in 1919. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.It has a three-bay Classical Revival front covered with glazed terra cotta blocks, of a 50 by 140 feet (15 m × 43 m) footprint. The two-story commercial block building has a flat roof and brick party and rear walls.It was deemed significant as "one of the city's most architecturally refined buildings": although "it is not an especially exuberant or palatial example of early 20th century movie theater architecture, the Rialto is well proportioned and well articulated. It well represents Loveland building trends as well as national motion picture theater trends for the period. The Rialto is one of the last main street theatres in northern Colorado with any remaining architectural integrity. The marquee replacement and the most recent alterations have compromised the Rialto visually, but the building still retains a high degree of integrity of location, setting and association...."Modifications to the theater have tended to contribute to, rather than detract from, its architectural character.It is also a contributing building in the Downtown Loveland Historic District, which was added to the National Register in 2015.

The Downtown Loveland Historic District in Loveland, Colorado is an 18 acres (7.3 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. It includes Loveland's commercial center which began in 1877, developed first as a railroad town, and then became an agricultural center and a regional center of government and commerce.The district includes portions of 4th Street, Loveland's main commercial avenue, from Railroad Avenue to Jefferson Avenue.It includes 45 contributing buildings and a contributing object, as well as 13 non-contributing buildings and nine non-contributing objects. It includes: Loveland Street Clock (1910), the one contributing object, manufactured by the Brown Street Clock Company of Monessen, Pennsylvania, located in front of Brannan Brothers Jewelry Store (1886), 239 East 4th Street, now "Garment Gal's", at 40.39553°N 105.07357°W / 40.39553; -105.07357 (Loveland Street Clock); Rialto Theater, 228 East 4th Street, separately NRHP-listed in 1988; Lovelander Hotel / BPOE Elks Lodge 1051 (1912–13), 103-117 East 4th Street, three stories; Union Block / Lincoln Hotel, 236-248 East 4th Street, three stories; Majestic Theatre / I. O. O. F. Hall, 315-319 East 4th Street, three stories; Colorado and Southern Railway Depot, 409-427 N. Railroad Avenue, separately NRHP-listed in 1988; State Mercantile Building/Masonic Temple (1910), at 202, 204, 206, 210 East 4th Street. Two-story building constructed of pressed white brick, with a newer red brick veneer. Parapeted.

The Colorado and Southern Railway Depot in Loveland, Colorado was built in 1902 as replacement to a former depot built in 1878. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It is located at 405 Railroad Ave. in Loveland, or at 409-427 N. Railroad Avenue, and has also been known as the Loveland Depot.It was designed by Charles B. Martin, a Colorado and Southern architect. It was built at cost of $19,949.The depot is 175 by 37 feet (53 m × 11 m) in plan, was built of buff-colored brick, and has three sections: "a passenger depot at the southern end, a narrower freight depot at the northern end, and a large formerly open porch in the center." Brick from the old depot being replaced was used to pave walkways and the platform of the new depot.It is described as "Romanesque Revival in its detailing with the arch used within and without as a decorative motif. The main entrance to the passenger depot is on the South end of the building through an open vestibule with arched openings on three sides."It was also included as a contributing building in the Downtown Loveland Historic District, NRHP-listed in 2015.

The First United Presbyterian Church at 400 E. 4th St. in Loveland, Colorado was built in 1905. It was designed by architect Montezuma Fuller. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It was designed by architect Montezuma Fuller with an Akron Plan interior and an exterior having elements of Romanesque Revival and Gothic Revival styles.Currently, the building is used as a house of worship affiliated with the PCUSA as a member of the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks. It is currently the oldest pipe organ still in its original condition in the state of Colorado. The Maude Stanfield Harter Borland House, at 610 N. Jefferson Ave. in Loveland, Colorado, was built in 1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.The house and its garage were built in 1920, designed by Robert K. Fuller. They have been deemed to be "among northern Colorado's best examples of the Craftsman style of architecture" and to display "superb integrity".It has also been known as the Pollyann Castle Baird House. In 1992 the house was inherited from her Aunt Maude by Pollyann Castle (Kitchen) Baird. In 2004, at age eighty, she was still the home's owner and resident, and had "gained renown as a championship-caliber United States Ballroom Dance Champion. Mrs. Baird presently participates in three or four competitions per year, and has captured bronze, silver and gold medals in the American Smooth, International Standard, International Latin, and American Rhythm styles of ballroom dancing. She attained the title of United States Ballroom Champion, Senior Division, in the International Standard style in 1992. She also achieved national titles in three styles of dance for eight years up to 1997," and was still actively participating in competitions.
