Niels Hemmingsens Gade

Valkendorfsgad (literally "Valkendorf Street") is a street in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Købmagergade in the northeast to the Church of the Holy Ghost in the southwest where it makes a sharp turn left to join Strøget. The street passes the rear side of the Church of the Holy Ghost. Kringlegangen connects it to the square Gråbrødretorv.

The Church of the Holy Spirit (Danish: Helligåndskirken) in Copenhagen, Denmark, is one of the city's oldest churches.

Fiskebløderhuset is an 18th-century building situated at the corner of Gråbrødretorv (No. 1) and Niels Hemmingsens Gade (No. 15) in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1924. A fiskebløder (lit. 'fish soaker') was a special type of fishmonger, specializing in the soaking and selling of stockfish. Together with the adjacent buildings at Gråbrødretorv No. 3–9, the building is one of the best preserved examples of the so-called "fire houses" which were constructed as part of the rebuilding of the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1728. A limestone tablet above the main entrance commemorates the fire.

Gråbrødretorv 3 is an 18th-century townhouse situated on Gråbrødretorv in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. Together with the adjacent buildings Gråbrødretorv No. 1 and No. 5–9, it is one of the best examples of the so-called "fire houses" that were constructed throughout the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1728. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1926. It is a three-winged complex- consisting of a four-bay-wide, three-storey front wing and a four-bay-wide, three-storey rear wing, attached to each other via a staircase from 1816 along the east side of a central courtyard. A plaque on the facade commemorates that the poet Johan Herman Wessel (1742-1785) resided on the second floor when he wrote Jærlighed uden strømper in 1772. For the same reason, the building is also known as Wessel's House (Danish: Wessels Hus), although the poet never actually owned it but merely lived their as a lodger. Other notable former residents include the painter Nicolaus Wolff, master joiner Lasenius Kramp and art historian Harald Lundberg. In 1944, Langberg charged Elna Møller, a colleague from the National Museum of Denmark, with restoring the building.

Løvstræde 14 is a Neoclassical property situated at the corner of Gråbrødretorv (No. 2) and Løvstræde (No. 14) in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It originates in a three-storey corner building from around 1730 but owes its current appearance to an 1832 renovation and extension along Løvstræde. The entire complex was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1950.

Niels Hemmingsens Gade 3 is a late 18th-century residential property situated off Amagertorv in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1959. The rear side of the building faces the grounds of the Church of the Holy Ghost.

The House of the Holy Ghost (Danish: Helligåndshuset) in Copenhagen, Denmark is a historic building owned and operated as an exhibition space by the adjacent Church of the Holy Ghost. One of the oldest buildings in Copenhagen, it was part of the largest medieval hospital in Denmark which King Christian I turned into an Augustinian priory 1497.

Gråbrødretorv 7 is a Baroque style townhouse situated on the south side of Gråbrødretorv in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a typical example of the so-called """fire houses" which were constructed throughout the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1728. The property was acquired by the Jewish merchant Moses Melchior and a business partner in 1783 and remained in the hands of the Melchior family until at least the 1840s. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1926.

Amagertorv (English: Amager Square) is a public square in the district of Indre By in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Today it forms part of the Strøget pedestrian zone, and is often described as the most central square in Copenhagen. Second only to Gammeltorv, it is also one of the oldest, taking its name from the Amager farmers who in the Middle Ages came into town to sell their produce at the site. Now the square is a central junction in the heart of Copenhagen, dominated by its Stork Fountain and a number of buildings, the oldest of which dates back to 1616. In opposite directions, Strøget extends towards Kongens Nytorv and the City Hall Square, the two largest squares in Copenhagen, to the northwest Købmagergade leads to Nørreport, the busiest railway station in Denmark, and to the southeast Højbro Plads connects to Slotsholmen across Højbro Bridge, and from there onwards to Christianshavn and Amager on the other side of the harbour. The paving is from 1993 and was designed by Bjørn Nørgaard. It consists of a pattern of pentagonal granite stones in five colours.

Grøbrødretorv 4 is a mid 18th-century residential property situated on the east side of Gråbrødretorv in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The three-winged complex was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918. Former residents include the actor Dirch Passer and the artist Bjørn Wiinblad. The latter has decorated the walls of the principal staircase with a series of murals.

Åbenrå 27 is an 18th-century town house located in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1959.

The Post & Tele Museum was Denmark’s national museum of post and telecommunications from 1913 to 2017. In January 2017 it reopened in a new location as Enigma - Museum for Post, Tele og Kommunikation (Enigma - Museum of Post, Telecommunication and Communication).
